This is actually a really insightful video. Not many people will have noticed this but it's important, especially when the intent is way more expensive.
wore it for my 200/400IM and 200 breast and felt amazing. Went all best times and I was not shaved/tapered. Absolutely a great suit. Wearing it for every race including free relays at our state meet. Thanks for the review!
I always think about the lzr elite/pure valor as being an ol' reliable. You know what you're getting out of it and it will always give you a solid floor in terms of performance. I am also sure that almost everyone has worn the lzr elite/pure valor at least once lol
I’ve had this suit for a couple of months now and the first time I wore the suit it felt amazing and it slowly wore off but it lasts way longer than the first one and is still water repellent after using it for 4 -5 meets
I gotta check out the pure valor because I really like the pure intent especially for dolphin kicks because mine kicks suck so it helps a lot and I can feel it helping. I just like a more range of motion when I kick and I’m pretty sure that’s a sizing issue because I got my intent way to small. Great review Sunny, can’t wait for the pure intent review.
I’m trying one on right now and it was really like really really hard to get over the hips and bum but it feels really nice and it definitely does lock in above the waist.
Why the pure intent hate ? I love the suit because I a sprinter but the overcompressive suits like mizuno burn me out I can wear the intent for a full 3 events and drop pbs like a mizuno can.
Noticed Adam wore the blue 2.0 in heats but opted for an orange and blue in the final, it looked like a valor 1.0. Is this a possible new colour or is it the old one ?
@@TheSwimsuitGuy oh yeah I know, but I was always confused because even when it was the 1.0 I saw a lot of pro swimmers wearing the valor instead of the intent for a sprint and I'd always be confused.
How does this compare to a arena carbon air square (what i currently have.) Does the speedo smash it out in performance or dors the carbon air square still hold its fire?
In low waist I would marginally prefer Carbon Air. Carbon Air has no high waist variation. They are both thin, light comfy suits at the end of the day. I’d pick up whatever you can get cheaper!

What about the LZR Pure Intent 2.0? For what is it?
“Sprint” but I’d steer clear of
Isn’t Caeleb Dressel wearing it for his 50 free in the 2024 Olympics?
@@nitroshark3064 he has to wear Speedo….

They all wearing it!!
..and now i wonder, which of the competition suits / jammers have the best longevity as far as water repelling is concerned?
Mizuno
you gotta do the mizuno 6 CR
All in good time
Do you recommend using the valor 2.0 for 50 and 100s?
No
Hi Sonny :). Would U recommend Valor for 800 freestyle?
But what is the absolute best suit for sprinting 100free?
Noticed Adam wore the blue 2.0 in heats but opted for an orange and blue in the final, it looked like a valor 1.0. Is this a possible new colour or is it the old one ?
old one
i think they made a new colorway similar to an older model
It’s the new red colorway shown in the video, as I explained in this video I don’t like it as looks like a 1
@@TheSwimsuitGuy they are being so unoriginal with the new colorways it’s making me mad. i wish they’d make more creative colors
Would you buy it over the intent 2.0 as a 50 and 100 swimmer ?
As 50/100 swimmer I’d buy neither, but yes I’d probably Valor over intent 🤦
I’m a size 26 arena carbon air, what size would you recommend for this suit
24
Would U recommend the arena primo over this for a regional age group swimmer (ignoring the MASSIVE price difference)
On Performance the Primo is clearly ahead.
But if you want minimal compression and a super thin suit then you could prefer the Valor.
I was wondering, I wear a 24 on Arena but it feels a bit small nowadays, should I get a 24 on this model?
Is this very similar to the tyr avictor 2.0 and carbon glide and which one would you go for?
Similar to Avictor and Air. I’d take the Valor of them 3
It’s not even the 2.0 but I saw a lot of people wearing the valor 1.0 a lot as well.
Yes Valor is popular, there’s nothing to not like about it, but there are faster suits
@@TheSwimsuitGuy oh yeah I know, but I was always confused because even when it was the 1.0 I saw a lot of pro swimmers wearing the valor instead of the intent for a sprint and I'd always be confused.
Would you recommend this or the Primo for a 2bk 4im swimmer? I’m currently inbetween sizes for mizuno so I’m looking at different brands.
Primo
Sonny! Will you review someday the Mizuno GX Sonic goggles?
Yes

@@TheSwimsuitGuy Many thanks! I already have a carbon air and I was just curious how it compares👍👍
What is the best suit for someone who races everything from a 50 to a 400 IM
Mizuno CR
What do you think of arena tech suits?
Check my review, Primo is awesome
how much time its supposed to put the swim suit pure valor on competition?
Takes maybe 5 mins
Shame about the price. As a teen money is low right now😢😢 - still looks really cool though
Get a Valor 1!

Yes.

No just Uber £200. Yes the Valor 1 at £100 as I say in the video.
What are your opinions on the Aquaforce X CP?
Love it
Best breaststroke swim suit in the market?!

Valore 💀
Terrible suit, worst suit i've worn in a long time! Not sure why so many GB swimmers wear them. Probably because they get given them?
you are talking about the Intent not that Valor! You would much prefer the Valor.
