"My Love" chords: Verse: BbMaj7 - Am7 - D9 - Gm7 (or Bb/G) - Am7 - BbMaj7 - Bm7b5 - Chorus: F - Gm7 - Bb (C and G both) - F Bridge: Gm7 - C7 (Bb and D both) - F (and F with C#) - Bb - C7 - F (the same F) - C7 - F Final: Bb/C - F (the same F) - Bb/C - F Thanks a lot from Argentina!
I have to say; first, I think your tutorials are second to none, and second I love to listen to your complete renditions of whatever you are trying to teach us. Absolutely love you. Thanks.
Such a beautiful song. I've always loved that ending "gooood tooo mee" whoa whoa. You did a fantastic job singing and playing it. Thanks for this lesson!
Hi John, First of all, I would like to congratulate you for the godsend, sensitivity and professionalism which are unique in my way of seeing. It is clear to see your passion and love in the music and the way you play. Thank you for the attention and respect you place on all the music you play, on all the details you teach us, and for making a difference in today's world. Big hug, and greetings from Brazil.
Thank you John for such a great demonstration. I'm a 63yoa beginner and this one is really hard for me, but you made it very clear. I think the section from 7:27-8:38 does not follow the original song and the bridge should be just be the chords: Gm7, C7, F, A+, Bb, C7, A+ then repeating Gm7, C7, F, A+, Bb, C7, F . I don't find the transition chord @ 7:37 when listening to the original, but maybe there are other versions. At any rate, I can't tell you how much I appreciate your sharing your talent!
I love playing this song, when I play it everyone thinks I'm like a piano God. But hey could you please do a tutorial for Nineteen-Hundred Eighty Five by Paul McCartney.
Hi Mike, or is it John? Anyway, just wanted to say how much I appreciate your tutorials. I am a Beatles fanatic. Been playing guitar for about 30 years and took up the piano in January. I'm addicted to your tutorials. So far you've taught me Maxwell's Sliver Hammer, A Day in the Life, Hey Jude, Let it Be, Your Mother Should Know, Sexy Sadie, Long and Winding Road, Good Day Sunshine and, You Won't See Me. This song is next on my list! Thank you for your time, Chris
John, are you actually aware that only YOU have this tutorial of My Love that beats them all? I scrapped the other one I learned, for this one. Really GREAT one! One more thing: are YOU familiar with Mike of mikesmusic123 channel on YT? I get the feeling that you and he are one and the same... ???
My good this video is great, I never before found the partiture about this song, now I will be able to play this great song. Tanks pianojohn113 you are the best musict eacher
Thanks i know you are a very busy man but even though you take the time to make more videos man you sound so similar to paul but but so similar the piano and the voice man you are just great
thank you for posting this, its really healpfull!! but it'll be awesome if you could upload some others pual's songs like, you know, live and let die, new or queenie eye and 1985, but anyway, you're awesome for doing this
Hey, where've you been! I have an easy piano book arrangement of this song, and decided to incorporate your lesson with the book. I believe somebody asked you to teach "1985." I already have everything down but the middle part. I prefer "Let "Em In!"
If that bothers you, I'm sorry to hear that. Well, you can always just talk your way through them or transpose the key even though I'd prefer the song taught in it's original key. Just know that you're a blessing to people like me no matter what and I'll always be grateful for you selflessness and generosity. You've made learning fun and to some extent easy. You've taught many of us songs that would have taken much more time to learn if taught by someone else or reading music books. Thanks:)
BEST PIANO TUTORIAL I've ever found...you're a Great pianist and instructor John, really appreciate your AWESOME videos!! Also, I'm surprised that you don't have, or that I can't find a "JUNK" video tutorial by you, is there any way you can do Paul's Beautiful "instrumental" version of Junk? I would really like to hear YOU playing that magnificent song by Paul!! Can you do it for us John...we would really appreciate it very much!! You may want to check out this particular video - URL link below - where this guy plays some very different-sounding chords compared to other videos I've checked out of that song, and his sound great but he does not teach it, he only plays it. Would you please listen to the way he plays it and see if you can also play most of those chords cause they do sound really nice, but ONLY up to the one minute mark on the video timer because after that he does something too extravagant which in my opinion, throw it off a bit, but maybe you can follow the "original" much closer after that one minute section, but also playing some of what he plays throughout that first minute? Thank you pianoJohn...GREAT WORK...GREAT TALENT BROTHER...GOD BLESS!! VIDEO TITLE: Paul McCartney - Junk (Piano cover) ruclips.net/video/_nITk7TACcE/видео.html
Thanks for the kind words, my friend, I appreciate it. I hadn't thought about doing a tutorial on "Junk," but maybe I'll look into it now. It's got beautiful chords in it, but is not one of Paul's well-known compositions. Thanks for the suggestion!
Thank you so very much John for your quick reply - which I was really looking forward to - I really hope you do have the time to look into it as you've said, I can't wait to hear YOU play that BEAUTY now that I've found your videos and the masterful manner in which you play and explain things. I wish I had found you a long time ago, cause my, how time flies, but I guess it's right when people say, that, it's never too late to learn...appreciate it very much, be well and take care...
Hey John don't worry about your singing, it makes a good reference point and that's all that matters. You make the best tutorials anyways! Thank you!!!
Hi John. Listen, do you know why the notes you show above your piano show up on one computer but not another and if so, how can I get them to show on my laptop?
Hi! Do you know wich piano or organ, I don't know, was used in the recording of "My Love"? The sound is very similar to this one you are playing. Thanks for this tutorial.
Haha. Why do I bother! So funny. I laughed here. LoL May I ask where does the key comment go? I understand it can be a lot extra work to edit though. I would be nice to have them. Thanks.
Hi there again Amazing John, this is just for you to listen to for now - if you haven't done so already, and hopefully you'll like as much as I have always liked it - and perhaps you can also learn it so you can just play it for the Special Love(s) in your life. It's a nylon/acoustic guitar song by an old school group who called itself Esmeralda and the song it's called: "Your'e my Everything". It's a long 5 :45 minute song, and which is a song along the lines of "My Love" and also "The Long and Winding Road", etc. It is a very Beautiful song just to listen to and I know you would do a Beautiful job playing it...hopefully you'll like it enough to also do a tutorial of it SOMEDAY, sometime in the future cause I know you're a busy guy - but with A BIG HEART who still is willing to share his patience and wonderful talent - and you also have other requests by many others, but as I've said, at least for now you can just learn it to play it for yourself - a video DEMO ONLY would be great - and again, to also play for that someone, that special person in your life...enjoy my friend pianojohn 113!! Here's the URL: VIDEO TITLE: You're my everything - Santa Esmeralda - Lyrics ruclips.net/video/Knr6SUMsGag/видео.html
Just now had a chance to listen to the song, very nice! I don't think I'd have time to learn it and do on tutorial on it, but I like the unique sound of the song and maybe others who hear it could take it on as a project. Thanks for the link!
Hi John, glad you liked that song I recommended to you, it is really nice indeed!! I do understand if you don't have the time to learn it or do a tutorial on it, 'cause as I said, I know you're a busy guy so it's ok, but I sure hope that IF you do have some extra time on your hands, that you will do that real nice Paul McCartney song called Junk for those of us who would really like to hear you play it, and of course, also learn it from you, but also of course, if you really don't have the time to do that, I also understand...but if possible, PLEASE do try to reserve some time to do that particular one, K John, we would really appreciate it very much my friend, and if you do, please also let us know when you put out the video on it, K? Thank you very much for your replies and Happy belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year "every year" to you and your Loved ones John...take care and God Bless!!
I've been rattling cages on Wonderwall just for fun. LOL YOU'RE getting old? I post all kinds of older videos on my fb page, and most of my buddies are either classic rockers or dog lovers.
LOL, I picked it for a reviewer name on Amazon.com and used it on my facebook page because there are too many people from my hometown who are nosy and gossipy. Why make it easy to find me? Besides, it's nice being a bit obscure when attacking on Wonder Wall!
So far. A lot of the time from people I don't want to hear from. LOL I had some Canadian guy badger me because I called the Rossington Collins band "hillbilly crap" and finally had to block him.
"My Love" chords:
Verse: BbMaj7 - Am7 - D9 - Gm7 (or Bb/G) - Am7 - BbMaj7 - Bm7b5 -
Chorus: F - Gm7 - Bb (C and G both) - F
Bridge: Gm7 - C7 (Bb and D both) - F (and F with C#) - Bb - C7 - F (the same F) - C7 - F
Final: Bb/C - F (the same F) - Bb/C - F
Thanks a lot from Argentina!
Just FYI...I refer to this amazing tutorial every so often, when I feel like playing this beautiful song. One of my favorites from Paul...
