My first car got Jan. 1969 when got back from Vietnam. Mine was blue with black vinyl top.
Love it my last 0ne had an aluminum heads rectangle port L 88 second design 427
The only thing that engine needs is the proper "tower clamps" for the hoses, otherwise beautiful car, color is really nice too !
The bucket seats had head rests in 69. Those front seats are from an older model.
@inoldswetrust I agree with you.....stuff that does not align correctly, tells me the rest of the car was done sub par..
Tony I love watching your videos! You have some great looking cars. I have to ask you though, since I've noticed the 'information' always shows the horsepower the engine has but almost never shows torque. Isn't torque a very important number? I mean since torque has most to do with a car's quickness?
Nice RIDE!! Classic cars are the best!
Hey Becky, nice to see ya!
how much would it cost to register this car?
What is the price of this car in the U. S.? And here in Brazil? Please answer me
Hard to believe the crowd 10 yrs older than me growing up can only nitpick cars like this to pieces. Wow what happened lol
Paint was never this nice new nor were panel gaps perfect buyers could care less back then.
They just wanted to spit gravel and have fun. Proper resto imo includes a complete mechanical rebuild, not a tired drivetrain painted up.
Where are the head rests? Those seats aren't right like that

If you are going to brag about the paint job, then at least paint it correctly. On true SS the rear panel in the rear below the trunk lid where the "SS 396"emblem is always semi gloss black, not body color.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks black to me. If you're talking about below where the SS396 emblem is, I believe that was only painted black for the 300 Deluxe Coupe SS 396 cars. The Malibu's had body color painted there.
Cale, it definitely looks green to me. And all SS 396 cars had that panel painted semi-gloss black. I own an all original (it was my Dad's) that has never been painted and it's panel is black... so that's what I'm basing this on
Yeah I don't know, I really can't tell if it is black or not on this car.. it's really hard to see. It really looks like it is black, especially on their website, to me. And I know that the actual little panel where it says SS 396 is black on every car, but I'm talking about the gap between that panel and the bumper... I don't think all of those were painted black. Again, could be wrong.
