shes beautiful, you guys did an amazing job of restoring her, i dont care for the rims, i would rather keep the stock chrome rims, but other than that you did a phenomenal job
Yes I was young and dumb when I was in high school. Only 1:38 into the video, but I had the exact same 1967 Impala Super Sport 396 fastback just like this one. I think this one is automatic, mine was 4 on the floor, bucket seats. I also had the factory racing stripes that ran the length of the car. Wish I had that car today. Think I sold it for $800 in 1978. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
This guy has no clue what he is talking about, there are TONS of aftermarket parts for this, and that is NOT an Impala SS. It's been modified way more than what he's letting on, wrong console, wrong engine, wrong steering wheel, wrong steering column, and on and on...
Eric Johnson I thought SS's all had buckets, console, and gauges. That is not correct, though. The only way to prove if it is a real SS is to check the VIN.
It depends if it's an SS427 or not, in 67-69 they made SS427 models and regular SS models. This thing is missing all of the chrome around the wheel wells, rocker mouldings, doesn't have any SS badging that it should have, it's wrong is what it is. That car has more wrong with it than what is right, trust me that's not a real SS. The guy is a typical car salesman, he's FOS.
I noticed the incorrect steering wheel which is probably why he mentioned changing it out. Lots of modifications but looks pretty good minus the wheels.
It's not an original 396, at least not by the body trim. The wide-flag 396 badges can't be seen; only the 327 narrow-angle flag badges. Tells me that while a 396 may be in it now, the aftermarket air cleaner is suspect. The paint is absolutely flawless as well as the interior. Get rid of the aftermarket wheels and put the correct SS caps back on regular wheels.
I liked it up until I saw the tires and the dash to me you need to keep these cars as close to what they looked like when they first rolled onto the streets. Not no 20" rims and led dash. That's just my opinion on that.
you guys only prefer the 4 door probably because of supernatural.. I real life though, The 2 door big block ss cars are the most collectable and sought after. But the dash killed it... should have kept the stock one
I agree about the rims and the dash but having a modern sound system will probably be preferred by more people than not. I like keeping the spirit of an old car but I like the best music I can get without altering the appearance too much. I wouldn't want 24 bass speakers in the back in other words.
Very late to this party, but 67 Impalas aren't rare. They made about 575,000 of them. About 74000 were Impala Super Sports, and there were many more regular Impala 2 door hardtop fastbacks than that. I believe this one is not an SS, and was a regular Impala 2 door with the side moldings removed. It has regular Impala and Chevrolet emblems on it, not SS emblems. There are no SS emblems on it. The front fender flags emblem is for a 283. If the car had been a 327, there would be a 327 number above that same emblem. But as it is, it denotes a 283 was the original engine. An SS would also have blacked out vertical lines in the grille. This has the standard grille. Also this car has Impala emblems on the rear of the quarter panels. An SS has no emblems there. The interior has been modified with a 68 or later shifter console. It has that "horse-shoe" shifter handle that they had in 68. The column appears to be a column shift column, still having the "knob" on the right side where the lever would have been attached. So, the car probably came with bench seat and column shift. However the seats they swapped in do appear to be the 67 type buckets. Of course the steering wheel is a later model one. So there are mods to those things and the dash. Nothing wrong with that, unless you rather have original. So, from the visible evidence, I believe it's a modified 67 Impala 2 door hardtop with a big block swapped in. Probably a nice car, just not as represented. Might be an honest mistake, since some people see the swoopy body style and automatically think Super Sport, not knowing the regular 67 2 door Impala had the same body.
This guy is so full of crap. He knows less than nothing about 1967 Impala's, or collector cars in general. Total clueless "salesman". I would not buy a wheelbarrow from him.

Very nice. I have a 65 but am a fan of any 65-67 Impalas.
Wrong steering wheel. I got a passager 67 2dr. Love it.

Fantastic. I'm pretty bummed about the automatic transmission and the digital dash. Keeping it oldschool would probably have increased the value.
67 Chevy impala ss427 is my dream car.

Its a clone not a ss I have one the only thing he has that's a ss on there is the bucket seats
I noticed the incorrect steering wheel which is probably why he mentioned changing it out. Lots of modifications but looks pretty good minus the wheels.

I prefer the four door hardtop impala
+Keanu Letioa yes those tires suck and the dash
you guys only prefer the 4 door probably because of supernatural..
I real life though, The 2 door big block ss cars are the most collectable and sought after.
But the dash killed it... should have kept the stock one
And it wasn't the original tri-spoke steering wheel either. That wheel came from a 71-73.
my dream car

Nice Car.Steering Wheel Fromh
A 71-Chevy!

Does not have a 67 factory console, this the console for a 68 and up!
I don't like how long that ignition took to start.
Seemed like it was chugging along, non restored versions of this car start instantly.
Is it possible to get the paint code used in this model?
thanks.
I would put factory Corvette rally's instead of these 20s and the exhaust needs to run to the rear not the sides
i got the same car in a 4 speed manual 396ss
how much liters per 100km ?
4500 is amazing. I can't believe how freaking cheap it is.
I want to know the price :
My dream car ill probably most likely never get :(
Heart palpitations
This guy is so full of crap. He knows less than nothing about 1967 Impala's, or collector cars in general. Total clueless "salesman". I would not buy a wheelbarrow from him.
My uncle has one and the speedometer goes up to 200 kph.
But he rescued it from a scrap yard in florida and restored it so it might not be correct.
that's the wrong steering wheel
Color is horrible. Wheels ruin the look. Swing & a miss.
Those wheels look soooo ghetto. FAIL!!!
black radiator actualy cools better then alu
Take my money
@goodbeary thats nothing compared to the trunk on a 64 impala
Yes, I agree that is not a real SS it don't even have twice as much as a real SS has .
un original
Wow watch supernatural and you will figure out who it is
shut up and take my money!!
that sad feeling when your girlfriend owns it and drives it...
at least put some wheel opening moldings on it. looks like ass with the trim scalped off the sides.
NOT an SS
The rims suck, Torq Thrust II would have been the right choice
ugly rims
Yeah they push all those cars outta the way for the impala because it won't fit anywhere HAHAAHAHAHA jk, but seriously this thing is huge...
