I mean, Stain was also hunting Heroes. Even killing some, which Garou hasn't done so far (well the 3 from his intro scene looked pretty bad, but I don't remember them being confirmed dead).
And Garou refuses to join the Monster Association, wanting to do things his own way, like Stain refused to join the League of Villains.
So I'd say they're already pretty similar characters.
Yeah, despite all the things he's done he never killed anyone except the monster. That little shred of humanity is what keeping him from turning into a real monster.
16:54 It may seem like a weird design-choice, but Garou's hair is red because of the blood. When he broke the tree to dodge Genos attack, he took damage, which is why his eye is blood-shot and his hair is bloody as well.

It's funny hearing people question how Garou can keep fighting in this situation when literal superhumans exist in this world. "He's built different" is basically the correct assumption.
Garou self identifies as a monster in that he views monsters as the ultimate underdog. When he empathized with monsters as a kid everybody around him never let him not understand that he is a monster, aka a hit him till he agreed with them.
Garou is probably my favorite character from opm he just throws straight hands and beats the dog shit out of people. He was juggling stinger there for a second with punches😂
Kid garou so pure he cheers for the monsters (he doenst have the evil and good intent, he sees that the monster is doing hes best, and was at disavantage. And he also sees trough the motivation of the monster, even tho the way to get what he want is bad). I just love this guy, hes such a lovable anti villain for me (and the progression of the dynamics between he and the kid makes it even better).

The manga comes out slowly, so the anime comes out slowly because they need to wait for at least 8 new volumes of manga to make one more new season. The 8th new volume just came out in December, so the 3rd season is expected to come out next year.

Garou is pretty similar to stain but in my opinion I hope that garou wins every fight because his character is more interesting then most in the anime you have backstory design and how he fights. I really love the final episodes so much. Great Reaction!
Did you read the manga? Read chapter 146 for his "introduction" and chapter 152 where the party begins

Most of the reaction youtuber just watching them(Anime) without actually understanding them, like MOST of them always go to the "good side/ heroes" . Like example fo Garou stories, he maybe on the monster side but he actually protect the kid and he is not killing anyone/the heroes (he can if he want).

@@chrisbashant2903 You have a good point but the reality is, English is hella twisted. All the pronunciations are done through anal intercourse. So when someone so twisted tries and fails to understand basic phonetic words, it's hella amusing.
The anime picked a TERRIBLE colour for the hair, it's meant to be blood red from where he rubbed his hands through his hair, but he is bleeding from a wound on his scalp after having the tree fall on him, so he accidentally spread the blood through his hair.
Why the fuck the anime chose GINGER to represent this is a mystery.

Have you ever seen a show or a movie where the hero is OP and annoying, and it makes you root for the villains. Usually it happens also when they make bad job establishing villain as the bad guy. That's the vibe I got from kid Garou on this one, though there is more to it revealed in the next episode.

only thing.. garou was able to keep up and stuff with genos AFTER fighting all those people and having poison running through his body.. meaning he could have bodies genos easily in his prime

What?? I got the impression that Garou is at his strongest when he is near dead as this condition helps him break his current limit. If that is true then no way Garou beats Genos, the whole thing with Garou is that he goes to near death situations and gets a Power Up.

Garou is ultimately a good person but all the bullying gave him the wrong idea of what monsters and heroes really are. He identifies with monsters because they’re hated by everyone and never win despite all their efforts, just like him. He hates heroes because they’re beloved by the world and always win, either by strength or number, just like his bullies. He idolizes the idea of monsters as underdogs who tried their best and either ignores (or is simply unaware of) the atrocities they commit, while having no knowledge of the heroes whose work and efforts go unnoticed like Saitama.
It’s a very naive worldview, though I can see where he’s coming from

So it might help you with garou's name to point out the racial stereotype that Japanese people mix up their r's and l's cuz in their native language, they are very similar... it's like rolling your r's in Spanish, it's almost a d sound, its shorter than rolling your r's in Spanish, but very similar... like popping an air bubble at the front top of your mouth in the middle of a word... which is weird to me since it really doesn't sound as different to our r's when it's the first letter of a word... but since I can't actually show you through text I'll use sakura as an example since that's a more widely used name... the way to say the r properly is in between saying sah koo rah and sah koo duh, but its neither of those lol kinda like how most Americans say butter, you don't fully pronounce the t's and if you did it would be weird... this explanation took longer than I thought it would, kinda hard to explain without using sound.

Nah he was more thn 50% easily, he just had a power boost, the more he fights the stronger he just become, on his way to a monster transformation.
Just like Adrenaline or something, 10% vs Genos doesn't make sense at this point of the story
