Garou is the most badass character in the anime in my opinion. Plus, he took a hit from Saitama and survived again. He's been fighting without any rest for days now.
They say that at the end of his Arch he will be the strongest of the monsters . I wonder what kind of hell he will have to go through to get this power and the long-awaited transformation?

It's weirdly done, but his hair going red like that was because of blood, he rubbed his hand through his hair and they were bloody, but for some reason the hair became all suddenly red and orange, but yeah that's supposed to be bloody, not a transformation, sadly.

The reason it's better is because you have stakes in both characters. You have a backstory invested in both Garou and Genos and the victor is unclear. Everyone knew what was gonna happen to Boros. Style wise, I like the Boros fight much better though.

One little detayl I love is how when Garou takes his stance, he just takes it, but when Bang takes his, even as he takes it he is moving in Flowing Water Rock Smashing Fist.
Garou's path is the same as Saitama's, removing your limiter and transcending humanity. Keep in mind when Saitama was training he was fighting monsters every single day, no mater how badly he was hurt. Constantly being on the verge of death in a short period of time exponentially increases one's power.
I really like how much Genos has grown from season 1. Instead of trying to beat everyone with simple overwhelming firepower, he's becoming a more intelligent fighter. Using the fire extinguisher as a smokescreen against that robot in the first episode, allowing that face-stealing demon monster to hit him in the back of his head in order to shatter his sword and counter attack, standing still to let that demon roach think he was vulnerable in order to trap him, the deliberate underground burial against Garou.
Too bad they made Garou so broken. How do you get your ass beat by an S-class, take a kick from Saitama, get a fever, fight 2 upper level A class and several B-Class, get poisoned, get dehydrated, keep up with a new and improved Genos (I don't think Genos was going full throttle yet but still), take a kick from Bang, and still be ready to fight. Garou's character is cool but his feats are just retarded.
Garou is broken? So is Saitama you really can’t talk about broken abilities in a show with a dude who’s basically invincible and beats every enemy with one punch not to mention all the other top heroes broken abilities. Garou should be broken, there should be a villain that has the strength to decimate the heroes in a show with such broken characters.

If he went all out vs Garou from the get got and decided to end it immediately he could have cos he has the firepower to.

What I adore about Garou is that he is a very deep antagonist. I mean all Season 1 had were classic one time bad guys. Even Boros was just a shallow prick who wanted to just destroy and kill everyone to get an adrenaline boost. And of course, he got killed in the first fight he was in. Garou is different. He has an actual arc and a story to tell, and his motives are not black and white. He really is a villain One Punch Man story deserves. Everyone at this point can understand his motives and can actually feel for him. And he kicks freakin ASS! One Punch Man really reached new heights in my eyes with this episode.

Am I the only one that loves Garou and understands why he's doing what he's doing. I love Genos too he's like one of my favourite anime characters but somehow I just keep finding myself rooting for Garou. TBH I don't even see him as a villain and what surprised me was the fact that in this fight Garou wasn't even at his strongest. Like he was injured asf but still managed to defeat like nine A rank heroes ( while poisoned) and was holding his own against Genos. And now he still has to fight his master, but I actually read the manga chapter for the next ep so I already know what's gonna happen, but honestly I hella respect Garou and I literally felt like crying for some unknown reason when the kid ran from him.

@@zayray4283 lol no need to get mad genos fanboy, geno's is one of my favorites as well but he gets his ass handed to him all the time (mosquito girl,carnage kabuto,deep sea king,gouketsu) just to name a few off the top of my head. he also fought a garou who got beat up by watchdog manafter fighting metal bat, kicked through a wall by saitama, fought 8 class A and B heros, and he went toe to toe with genos. Genos was keeping up due to having tricks up his sleeve, if the fight went on long garou would win as he adapts to his enemies fighting styles and genos would run out of tricks and he would be able to do all this while injured, garou is a BEAST and easily one of my favorite characters and more developed characters in OPM.
