Just want to say I absolutely love how this turned out, you should paint some cataphractii or a land raider proteus

I believe on a previous video I suggested you paint a contemptor…oh well it’s my favourite kit of all time so I hope you had fun!

Hey guys! What methods do you use to weather your models? Do you have some cool tips and tricks to share?

Massive fan of your channel and IG. One of my favourite painters and really helped me try new things sir so thank you. One question I do have though….i always see that Wraithknight in the back and I love the colour. Will you do a video on how you painted that or achieved the colour. Thank you for sharing your work 🙏

That's is awesome to hear, thanks a lot for your support, it really means a lot! 😊 I painted the Wraithknight before I created the RUclips channel and I would definitely do it differently now, but I still think it looks cool :D
If I remember correctly I sprayed stegadon scale green from citadel over a black primer and then started adding some temple guard green and some white to the mix. Then I took some Khorne red and shot it into the shadows.
I would use a zenithal highlight over a red basecoat nowadays and then spray the colors over the white preshading.

@@ph3lansminiatures thank you for taking the time to respond I appreciate it. Turquoise is always a gorgeous colour but I tend to go too far into the blue/green with highlights. I will give your method a blast. Thank you again

This is the first time I’ve heard of water mixable oil paints. How do they work?

    • @ph3lansminiatures

They are basically the same as normal oil paints, but instead of white spirit, you can thin them with regular water. And as you can see in the video, you can work with them the same as with regular oils.

After all that great work and the shoulders are black That would destroy me

It is okay Adam 😄 it only took me 20 minutes to spray the whole thing. Proportionately I only lost a couple of minutes worth of work 😂

The way you pronounce varnish is wrong. I'm not sure how to explain it because i imagine saying it's not wurnish won't help! Maybe check out another video of varnishing to hear.
You should apply the decals before the oil paints so they get dirtied at the same time as everything else.

Both fair points 🙂 I'll correct the pronunciation for the future videos.
