More Fantasy content is always great!!!!! Age of Sigmar, Old World, other stuff, awesome!
A Mordheim / Old World project would be awesome
I personally prefer fantasy miniatures and your channel is so educational, inspirational, and entertaining. Go for it!
Definitely into more fantasy stuff! It seems like the AoS range is going from strength to strength with the quality of the designs. I've been working on a Soulblight army in the run up to AoS 4 and TBH its the most engaged in the hobby I've felt in ages.
I think it would be amazing to see the Cult of Paint take on some Trench Crusade models
@@Brendawgy2010 it's been discussed
Totally do more fantasy stuff! And i'd love it if that stuff was Warmachine! I suspect you'd love the grave digger minis that are dropping later this year, those totally seem like your style!
We'll see with Warmachine. I did it waaay back. Keen to see what Steamforged do with the minis.
Down with a ~50/50 split of sci-fi and fantasy for sure.
Another great video! Yes, more Fantasy content please!
Would LOVE more Fantasy content! Especially with WarCrow coming up soon.
Some MCP would also be a great change of pace. Going from Grimdark to super saturated cartoon could be super fun!
@@kookieslayer I'll get painting!
Henry, have to say, your tip of blotting the oil paint on cardboard to improve drying time a couple of videos ago has saved me so much time! Super helpful, Thanks!
great to hear!
One of the issues I have with miniature painting content on youtube is that, most of it revolves around painting one of a handful of Space Marine kits. While I enjoy watching Horus Heresy content on this channel, a lot of the techniques are lost on me as they don't really apply to the very fantasy focused stuff I paint (especially weathering). This is a personal thing, but more fantasy would be super helpful! AoS, Oldworld, Mordheim, Malifaux, Lord of the Rings, Frostgrave, etc. I love watching and learning that stuff!
Please do more Age of Sigmar content! I'd love to see your take on Ironjawz
Done a couple Ironjawz videos on here!
@@cultofpaint I'll be checking those out!
Fantasy and display painting is always nice to see, nice job on the rats there 💪😁
I would definitely love to see a Mordheim project, mercenary and skaven would be awesome.
I was sad I have not seen very much fantasy projects in a last year. So happy to hear you are gonna paint more fantasy.
Love the orange and grey robes. Would love to see different skintones for the skaven, though this one looks particularly grungy, like you'd expect a rat with mange to look like!
Whatever You paint, it will be great. Whether it be fantasy, futuristic or historic stuff. I'm gonna enjoy it 😉
A mordheim warband would be great. Skaven obviously, but the human acoyltes that come with the stormcasts side could be a good start to a witch hunter warband too
More fantasy please Henry, you guys do an amazing job over there :)
Loved this as I was assembling rats from the Skaventide box - I hope more people get into AOS. It is awesome...I have double the AOS armies compared to my 40K ones.
Definitelly would love more fantasy content !
yes please more fantasy! would love to see it!
Loving the Fantasy and AoS models keep it up!
absolutely, love to see fantasy content!
This is an awesome video. I learn so much from your channel!
Thanks to you and Ken, I made a beautiful 2500pts Tyranids army! You guys are so cool!
I'd absolutley love to see your Skaven Mordheim video! That sounds awesome
Really, really love the orange scheme too. Would also not have thought of it myself. The reasoning being that if the skin is orangy (the most clear example being the Rat Ogors 21:11) the contrast between the durty orange cloth and the orangy skin becomes so minimal that the mini becomes hard to read. So I would lean more towards a pinkish maybe even greyish skin to make the model more readable.
MORE FANTASY. Including the old world and Age of Sigmar especially. Love the work of this channel and I’ve learned a lot from Henry and Andy.
I love love AoS and HH, 40k in a bit of a down atm, maybe the new inquisition book can change that. So more AoS would be awesome, I really like Idoneth and there aren’t many videos about them. Also in general a video about motivation or batch paining would be be good
More Aos/Fantasy would be awesome!
Everything apart from the cloth colour I love. The skin and orange cloth has 0 seperation, especially at a distance. (It is most obvious on the rat ogres)
Definitely want more Fantasy! I often skip videos if I see they're just space marines.
That color scheme is very nice! My box is on the way and I'm tempted to do yellow robes now :D
Hell yeah for more fantasy content on YT! I really liked following your adventure with Slaves to Darkness!
Good way to do AoS content is to put Spearhead painting in the title at the moment, since there will be influx of new players, and I think it's a good way to have alternative color schemes that are not so common!
Perhaps you could tackle starborne Starborne Kroxigors? Or maybe magma skin Fyreslayers? Tons of possible options!
Loved the complex skin tone in this one especially! Amazing result.
It’s really interesting how close this is to Henry’s Votann scheme, only applied to rats.
Also, I know you have to obey the algorithm, but I’d watch you paint anything. Pls do more fantasy content.
More fantasy please! Cities! Skaven! Kharadren Overlords! Huzzah
100% more fantast content. Frostgrave, WarCrow, whatever. Do it please!
Great scheme, 10/10
More Age of Sigmar content would be great!
Would 100% appreciate seeing more Age of Sigmar from you Henry. I have often thought I would love to see your take on a Mega Gargant, would love to see some of your 40k approach to armour on more Stormcasts, more of your Slaves / Darkoath and how you would tackle something like Idoneth Deepkin with the Eels units.
You mentioned wanting to do a small Skaven project to a high level, is the Spearhead small enough?
Thanks Ricky. Ive not given up on the S2D yet, and do have a Mega Gargant built for them! I think the Skaven will be Mordheim.
Hi Henry, would love to see you having fun with some Skaven for Mordheim!
hell yeah more fantasy!
More fantasy please! Old world, mordheim AOS, whatever. Would love to see you guys do some conquest too, awesome models and it would be nice to see how you tackle the slightly larger scale.
I think some old world and warcrow to start. But I'd certainly like to try Conquest
Yes more fantasy stuff!! ToW, AoS, Mordheim!! Maybe even some warmaster if you feel up to it ;)
i do need to finish my warmaster ogres...
18:19 I do believe people have very different definitions of what “speed painting” means.
My Nighthaunt army has painted up fast, and I’m not getting worked up about getting every single detail just right. The scheme is intentionally quick and simple , but I do still care about the end result. The metal bits are nmm, but it’s sloppy nmm. The scheme is mainly airbrush, washes and dry brushing rather than layering and glazing. The goal is to finish an army to a decent standard, good enough, and get it done. Speed is absolutely a key factor even if the chosen speed isn’t blazing. I’d say that counts. I’d say the concept isn’t exactly about how much time it took or the quality of the paint job but more bang for your buck. Speed painting to a high standard will take longer than speed painting to a bare minimum tabletop standard. I think they can still both be speed painting if the methods and the effort used were chosen either way speed as a key factor regardless of what the end quality aim is. Otherwise we get some weird arbitrary cut offs both in how much time it’s allowed to take (a beginner will take longer with the same techniques for the same result ) or what methods are allowed or how good the end result is allowed to be.
Was speed a priority. That’s what matters. Even if it took a year to paint that one unit with OSL and NMM and all the other abbreviations. Then it can be qualified by what standard it was painted to.
Great video! Would love to see more fantasy on the channel, and to add to the ones you listed: MESBG!
absolutely MESBG
I would love to see your Mordhein skaven. Mordheim has still some of the most evocative gaming and painting experiences for me.
Also I am all for more fantasy in general / AoS / other games.
That dot filtering on cloth is such a great idea, and is going to help me tie my infantry into my vehicle's on my admech list. I was wondering if you have a base way you work out what colour pallette to use as dot filter . Greys green and browns are easy but what about really dark base colors eg blue-blacks , dark reds ?
Yesssss 50-50 less go!
From a painting perspective, let’s be honest, AOS is where miniatures really come to life! They are soo much better…
Would love to see more fantasy minis.
keep the fantasy content coming
I’d love to see Warcrow, the new fantasy skirmish game by Corvus Belli
More fantasy stuff would be great!
I'd love to see what you can do with the Parabellum Conquest fantasy range, especially the old dominion.
Great video as always! I'd love to know how the glowing green bases were done on the 2 leader minis.
Hey dude it’s just Vallejo flouresnt green over white built up in a few layers through the airbrush
It would be nice to see you paint some ogors, they rly havent gotten much love in terms of painting tutorials on youtube, im sure you could make them plenty exciting ^^
More fantasy would be amazing
Looks fantastic 👍loving the orange too!
More fantasy always!
12:10 Mordheim project FTW!
Have you ever thought about painting Moonstone miniatures for the channel? It's a great little resin game that is along fantasy lines
I have. They look lovely. But im really not sure about the wider appeal. That would probably need to be a Patreon video.
Did I hear Mordheim?! Yes please!!
Just want to drop some support for more fantasy content - in particular GW's Warcry :)
Another one here asking for more fantasy. Warcrow, Old world, AOS and Mordheim.
@@jlpermar well I would Very much like to do all of those, so lets go!
More-more Mordheim!
And a lot of things translate between different systems anyway - colour combos, materials and general techniques!
More fantasy would be cool. I'm interested in AoS and skirmish games like Warcry or Frostgrave.
Yes more fantasy content please 🙏
Yes more AoS! :D
It would be interesting to see what you would do with Conquest.
I really wanted to get into Conquest, but there's no appetite for it near me.
yeah please give AoS and Fantasy the same love you give 40k and 30k pls
More fantasy!!
As always, great video ! Would it be possible to share the Ken's scheme PDF ? It would be really helpful. Thanks ! 😊
Up for the PDF ? 😅🙏
Would love to see the mordheim project
13:05 I have the cheapest stuff and the Sansodor and I can't much difference between the two really. No difference in smell or use. Maybe the cheaper dries faster, but only a small difference if any.
More fantasy please! AoS!!!
More age of sigmar please
awesome scheme, awesome paintjob! i was painting this past week and i was curious, when you do super subtle steps like tiny highlights/pin washes/chipping, how can you tell that it's even made a difference? like i had a marine that i pinwashed and i *thought* it might have affected the model but i couldnt tell if there was just a small change or no change at all.
i think thats why testers are important. Sometimes you finish it and go "i can just leave that out"
Please do show us if you do Skaven for mordheim, I’d be really keen for a high level army painting vid for some rats!
Promise I'll make videos if I do it
More Fantasy!!
Do vampires!
More fantasy content!
I prefer fantasy over any other miniatures.
Any news on the Black Templars? 👀👀👀
yep, keep an eye on here in 2 weeks
When you did the oil wash, did you just leave it to dry or did you wipe it off with a sponge etc
left to dry
Man i have to ask you, been using the standard fengda to do pre shading wity your exact paint but it keep running into problems that have me dissasembling it for hours long and not getting a single mini done. Any clue?
what's a fengda?
Im always down for fantasy content. 40K is science fantasy, so it's not as if we can't carry anything over from one setting to the next. I would also enjoy seeing more games than just Games Workshop products. I know GW gets views, but I'd enjoy seeing other stuff from time to time. Expand my horizons.
