I use 2 cowbells, agogo bells, 2 jam blocks, tambourine, ribbon crasher, timbale, various hat tambourines, hat shaker, and a hat sleigh-bells contraption I made!
Loved the video. For weight reasons, I sometimes bring a tambourine or cowbell to gigs instead of crash or ride cymbals. And this video reminded me: I promised to bring a cowbell for the gig tonight! They don’t have to cut, you can blend in cowbell, depends on muffling and how you hit it.
Killing in the name of…. It’s always one of the last songs my band plays to close out a night. I use a Chad Smith Big Red Cowbell and a red LP jam block instead of two cow bells. And if I’m being honest that song is the only reason I bring those to gigs, cause i don’t use them in any other songs…. Lol
Love this! I have rehearsal for church this evening for a song with a prominent tambourine part. I'm going to swing by Sweetwater & grab a tambor-stick to experiment. Thank you! 10 out of 10! 🤓
@@ArtOfDrumming Yes! It worked really well & the sound professional agreed. My normal tambourine jingles are a bit deeper in pitch. I’ve always favored that tambourine for that reason. I’m excited to utilize this tool for an ease of convenience. Throw it it the stick bag & use when I don’t opt to bring a tambourine. 10 out of 10. 💪🏻🤓 Thank you @ArtOfDrumming
@@DrummerRIP Great to hear that! Always awesome to see how videos like this one can have an impact for some of the drummers out there! Enjoy playing around with the Tambo Stick! I'm sure that's going to be a lot of fun. Best wishes Andi :)
I use a whole bunch of LP stuff for my kit the only thing I wish LP made was A Tumba Compact Conga To Round Out The Trio along with the quinto and the conga
I would like to see videos of the percussion setups of artist, Cyro Baptista, Daniel Diaz, Richie Garcia, Shannon Larkin, Lenny Castro, Steve Reid. Thank you!
I have a couple of pandeiros but have not seen a clamp anywhere that allows me to mount to a stand. Can you send me a link to how you mounted your pandeiro?
If you put everything on that kit on the floor - you too can be Daru Jones. 😊😊
Bongos, Congis, Timballis, Roto Toms, and Octobons. LOVE THEM ALL!!! AND WOULD HAVE THEM ALL IF I COULD FIT THEM😊😊😊😊
MORE IS MORE 😄😄

I Love it Killing in the Name off
Daru ist der Meister aber du bist verdammt nah dran. Danke fürs Zeigen 💘
Killing in the name
That trap setup was truly something. Never thought that small pandeiro would have such a deep thud.
This thing is thunder! Like a pocket version of a gong tom :D
@@ArtOfDrumming You should really hit it with a mallet.

This opening with The cawbells from Rage Against The Machine's Kipling in The Name is simple but memorable!
I've been using a brasilian tambourim for the last couple years and I find it very useful
Hay a face to the voice 🤣 cool not exactly expecting him to be this young 🤣 cool love your change great job

What’s the difference between a pandeiro and a tambourine? They almost look alike
I'll leave all that stuff to the auxiliary drummer. 😉
I did this 40+ years ago.
I heard This song with de cawbells at 7:10 on Killing in the Name from Rage Against the Machine!!!!
How about Rototom Drums
Can you tell me where to find that foot operated jam block you talk about at 7:40 please? I cannot find it anywhere. Thanks for the video!
