  • This video is about Printing a Linocut by hand, at home.
In this video I am using Gamblin Relief Ink (oil-based, Prussian Blue), and cleaning up with vegetable (Canola) oil, and a variety of non/low toxic household cleaners such as Simple Green, Uline General Cleaner, and generic glass cleaner (fake Windex).
It's possible to do very intricate, detailed, and beautifully executed relief printing with very simple tools, in your kitchen or home studio. The biggest problem most artists run into is deciding where to lay all their prints to dry!

Thanks for this video, you've done a great job of making this craft accessible to us regular folks at home. I love all the attention to the cleaning process because that's not something I've seen covered a lot.

Tip: If you don't have a roller You can use a paintbrush, And if you are having a hard time making the square you can add Masking tape on the glass To make the square :)
