Using double-sided foam mounting tape and scrap mylar, you can make Compressible Gauge Pins; an absolute necessity when printing Photopolymer letterpress plates using an aluminum or steel printing base on a platen press. Note: I have always loved Henry Compressible Pins, available from Boxcar Press in NY, but my students just mangle them! It was time to start making them in bulk, in-house.
