Very generous of you and great idea switching the E and the C strings to give the student the opportunity to try playing lefty. Hoping that it works out for him. I don't remember if it was difficult when I first started playing but now if I turn the uke around, my left hand cannot strum easily and my right hand can't even begin trying to play chords.
Ah, Rachel, going above and beyond the call of duty. I've often wondered what playing a leftie (sinister) uke would be like for a dexter like me. I could be ambidextrous in music!
You are a good soul Rachel.

So far the pupil has liked it so hopefully I'll do a tidier job fr him soon. As you could see, I can't do the left hand thing at all! ;-)
@@UkuleleWales Very happy to hear it's working out. I can't even seem to hold the uke comfortably when I turn it around.
