    We just came from Arizona at an event where they were selling flavored popcorn. They made one called snickerdoodle it was fantastic. They also had of course cheddar cheese and then a red one that looks like candied apple that was slightly cinnamon and very good as well

    If you throw the popcorn in the pan with the caramel while its still on the stove, you could stir it without it cooling on ya.

    This is too strange! We just ate regular home cooked popcorn while watching a Hallmark Christmas movie. Then I find your recipes video. The chocolate sounds delicious. I'll have to give it a try with another kind of oil - allergic to coconut. I would not thought you could make the recipe with cocoa. Great idea.

      Hahaa you made me laugh with that "too strange"😅 I guess to me there is no such thing anymore🤭 I actually also just eat the regular salted popcorn most of the time, but then I thought I need to try something new and I must say I loved all of these, but caramel and chocolate were my favourites😊 Yes, you can definitely use any other mild flavoured vegetable oil. Using cocoa powder makes it taste a little like hot chocolate and also it is not as messy as if you'd use melted chocolate. I hope you will like it🤞😊 Take care dear!

    How many months can popcorn be stored?

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  Год назад

      Hi there, to be honest I always make mine fresh and eat it right away. I think it has the best flavour that way. But I think you could store it in an airtight container for a couple of days at least. Depending on the flavour you are making.

    Can i use an aluminium pot?

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi Deborah, I have never used one myself, but there should be no problem in using one. Just make sure to control the heat as aluminium pots can heat up quicker.

    Instead of taking the chance of burning a finger in the hot oil, put THREE kernels in oil then when they pop put the rest of the kernels in. Surprised you advocated the danger.

    • @inthekitchenwithelisa
      @inthekitchenwithelisa  3 года назад +3

      Never had a problem burning myself. As there is nothing in the oil it also won't splatter. But thank you for your tip with testing with a few kernels first.
