@@westcountryexplorer Yes, in the middle of nowhere, you would never know about it if you didn’t know about it if you know what I mean lol ! Maybe those pipes you saw on the outside as you were leaving were to pop tennis balls down with messages on them? I’ve heard of that system in these type of bunkers

That tunnel killed the top of my legs as I crouched through! Fascinating place. Full of asbestos so I think once down there is enough.

It was a control centre for a spy network should the Nazis have ever managed to invade Britain.
