Having children young is a blessing for couples like you that work so well together. In 5 to 10 years you could be travelling the world with your main parenting years behind you, although you never stop being a parent! You two have lucked out with each other. As Ryan said 'right time, right place' when you met.

I think most couple arguments are about money. As my grandma used to say "when the bills come through the door - love flies out the window". I know some women whose husbands expect them to do everything in the home and they believe it's a woman's job to do the housework and look after the kids. Then there is the couple whose wife does nothing and the poor guy works and does all the housework and cooking. You guys have done it right. You are both such sensible people. It doesn't help relationships when they are stuck in the house because of the rubbish climate. It started raining in September in the North West and hasn't stopped since which is 6 months ago. England isn't a nice place to live anymore with everything that is going on. Even my beautiful palm trees couldn't be saved. They have literally collapsed due to the harsh weather. You did right to leave the UK. Thank you for cheering us up. Wonderful vlog. Thank you.
Fern, I planned to be a young mother and so glad those plans worked out. I didn’t even start my career until my sons were 5 and 3. Now as a relatively young grandmother, I have two magnificent adult granddaughters. I am so grateful to have these wonderful young women in my life. I wouldn’t have had all these years with them, or my sons, if we had waited until after I had established my career, and we were more financially settled. Most young people who have children early, even if unplanned, go on to be wonderful parents.
Being pregnant is no joke. A lot of people think because of the times we're in that it's so much easier... And it is... But it's still longer of the most dangerous times for the mother. I can't imagine having to go through HG. I had really bad morning sickness in my 1st trimester with my first daughter. I went down to 110lbs and I'm 5' 8.5" so that's pretty low and was pretty much bed bound. And I know that it was still nowhere as need as bad HG. I honestly can't imagine it. Women are amazing.

Years ago when I was on Rue Saint-Julien le Pauvre, in front of Hotel Esmeralda (around the corner from the English bookstore Shakespeare and Company; across from the little park that is part of the church St. Julius the Poor (here the second-oldest tree in Paris grows) a Parisian asked me on a date. I told him I was married. He asked how many years? Twenty-five I proudly stated. The look on his face was almost one of disdain, "Twenty-five years with the same man?!" He could not fathom!

You have certainly overcome a lot of things. The idea of having more children in your case is really life-threatening. Loved this and I related to alot of it about my Partner. This is our 13th year living together, tough at times but weve survived as we are a team. Fern I know the pregnancy sickness thing, I was the same , just the wretching all the time , not keeping anything down . it gradually got better but still had that sicky feeling for 5/6 months . Your both fab and I love watching your videos xx
This was so good, I enjoyed it so much. I felt really sorry for you when you were talking about being ill during your pregnancies and could really identify with it. I used to suffer very bad migraines and couldn't stop vomiting with them, they used to put me in bed for three days at a time and as you say you honestly feel as if you are going to die, it's horrendous. I used to get one every couple of months and that was bad enough so god knows how you got through it for all those weeks! I love your videos Fern and tell everyone about your life in France, I envy you so much, and I voted for Brexit🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
