It depends , community pharmacy or clinical pharmacist .community pharmacists are paid in higher range of 100k . Also , if pharmacist has finished residency it is in 90k to 100k range (note they are paid 40 to 50 k in residency years) . Experience also plays a role here
I started at $51/hour back in 2018 when I finished my 4 year pharmacy school at a private institution ( after completing 4 years of a bachelors degree in biology in a public school in Florida). After 2 years I became assistant pharmacy manager and bumped up to $58/hr and then 2 years later I became pharmacy manager with a bump at $65/hr. Now 2024 I make $71/hr. I get about 6 weeks off per year from my job. I graduated with $260,000 student loan debt. Is it worth it? Yea if you’re able to pay down your debt in a short time frame! Don’t hold on to it for too long and your career will def be worth it.
I appreciate the insight! 😊
Wow!! I need to find my way to the United States.
It is truly the Land of the Free! Amazing!
In most places retail pharmacy pays more and most pharmacists in retail after getting a few years under their belt earn from $60-$70 an hour. Hospital tends to be a little less as a staff pharmacist but management there make a lot more and can make upwards of 180-200k usd a year. For the amount of schooling it takes to be a pharmacist in the US idk why anyone outside of the US would want to do this job tbh.
Is this after tax ? Why the hell uk is so low ? Is it really worth to immigrate there as a pharmacist? I was planning uk but I've seen people make more money in Canada
Pharmacist salary in Hong kong around US$75,000 per year AFTER tax
Amazing!
Norway??
