They switch instruments probably because shamisens get out of tune very easily, so they just replace them with tuned ones to keep the song going.

ネット発祥の曲を現代にまで伝えられてきた日本の楽器で演奏されていること、また、映像の中で途中影絵の場面が出てきたときには、研究し突き詰めて作られているんだなととても感動しました。あまり世に出回っていない名曲だと個人的に思いますが、大好きな曲なので出会ってくださったことと弾こうと思ってくれたこと大変嬉しかったです。11年前ですので今さら感極まりないですが大好きです。

ぽこぽこ って言い方が可愛くて1ヶ月前だけど返信してしまうぜ！
小鼓は多少湿ってると音が出やすいから、裏面に濡らした和紙ちぎって貼って、叩く前に指を舐めて紙を触って濡らしたり、息吹きかけて調節してるらしいぜ！
天候によって湿度違うから調子悪い日と良い日もあって面白いよー！
