As someone who lives in Beer and is a massive cyclist, I'm very surprised to discover the East Devon Trail. I'll have to sort some bike packing gear, and do it at some point!
Oh come on! That was a lush experience all the way through, I need something just like this to happen in my life ASAP! 😁 And thank you for having brought us along to places I personally didn't know, always keen to discover new perspectives; I am definitely looking forward to watching part 2 of the trip ! 😃🙂☀️
Thanks for taking us along Laura. What a lovely place to visit. I have been to Lyme Regis many times but had no idea all of these places were not far. Looking forward to Part 2.Richard and Tilly
Great video Laura brings back many memories of family holidays prior to emigrating to Oz - Looks like you went through Topsham as spotted The Lighter Inn. Really interested to know how you select your wild camping spots without fear of the infamous "farmer with a shotgun" scenario. Looking forward to the next video!
It's funny to see you traveling through an area that I know relatively well; I've been going to Killerton since I was a small child, but then there's so much around that I don't know. You're inspiring me to get out and explore more. Looks like you're having a great time. Thanks for the vid!
Hi it’s the Ortlieb quick rack. I love it takes seconds to attach and remove, perfect for a gravel bike. Panniers are the Ortlieb gravel so smaller with extra stabilisation
What a beautiful ride. How is your new bike treating you? It always takes a bit to dial in a new bike when packing them up. I look forward to the rest of the ride next Sunday!
Sounds like you are enjoying it to much, many thanks for the great vid always looking forward to a new one 👍
Great stuff - thanks for the upload.. the area of Lyme and Axeminster is a great part of the country.
Well done Laura, I did some of that ride on Friday and also had to wade through the ford in Court Wood. Freezing toes for the rest of the ride!
Glad I’m not the only one 😂 I don’t think my socks dried for 2 days

Looks like a cracking ride...... I'll check out the route and might have to try it myself!! Many thanks for sharing ;-)
Really enjoyed these 2 videos Laura. Having lived most of my life in Axminster, now Colyton it's great to see my local area this way.
Great video Laura, very well presented too 👍

Great trail loop, did it a day last year, second half's a little more boring but still a great loop. Will be back yo do it again soon
Hi Elbry which part did you not enjoy so much? Some sections seemed like a lot of road but I was glad it was in chunks
That ride looks fab, thanks for taking us along I must do this now 👍👏😍
If you get the chance to do it it’s a great route
