Did the cantii way last week at the end of August over 3 days, Ashford, Sandwich, New Romney, back to Ashford. I enjoyed it and a mix of scenery. It was busy in the coastal parts so progress was a bit slow at times so I did the inland section and the winchelsea loop. The route mainly links existing NCN routes which are quiet lanes, cycle paths etc so its not supposed to be hardcore off road. Personally if you want to stop and explore a bit on route at least 3 days are required and it can be breezy at times. Definitely a good route for someone getting into bike touring.
Your video inspired us to take our granddaughter for a ride (and swim) along the path at Herne Bay. Great fun - thanks!
Epic drone footage and love the area around Rye and Rye Harbour in particular. A lot of history and amazing sea views too!
Nice i do enjoy the coastal route around Ramsgate .
Excellent video. Looking forward to doing it later this month.
The Cantii way is a lovely route did it in October with CTC Peterborough over 2 days, we actually started in Ashford, as it was easier for train connections from Peterborough, although that didn't matter in the end, because of strikes that weekend, so a few of us got the train to London on Friday, and the rest drove to the start outside Ashford international. but looking forward to doing it again next year once I retire, but take a bit more time and enjoy the history of the area
Fantastic drone work. I think a 'tame' route is one we all need from time to time to de-stress, so looking forward to trying this at some point. Cycling UK are working on a new route in Norfolk now.
This is how I originally found your channel, last June you managed to get me back on my bike after a 10 year break and I can’t wait to try this route in the summer.. Thanks for everything 🙂💕
Awesome vid again. Keep them coming 😁👍🏼
Just finished riding the Cantii Way - thank you for the inspiration to ride it , your description and rating was spot on - great fun ride
So funny to see you on the crab and winkle, I rode that probably twice a week as a kid and have been again recently since moving back to whitstable. I definitely need to give this route a try
Really glad you gave it a go, and enjoyed it. It'd on my home turf so I will give it a go sometime. Thanks for taking us on all your adventures. Cheers Grant.
Fantastic ride for a flat ride😉🤟🇬🇧♥️love every bit of footage
I think this is one of your best films to date. Plus you finally got some fish and chips!
Glad you enjoyed it :D Wohoooo finally found some 😂
I rode this last month, similar experience, baking hot and loved it. Slept on Sene Valley golf course 👍🏻 I'm from just outside Wye, have to say, your drone shots throughout were really impressive. I know the route very well but they provided a unique take on things 👌🏻
Thanks for this, I did KAW after your vid inspired me, this looks like a nice one to do! 👍
Thanks simon, Hope you had a good trip on the KAW, this one is definitely a nice one to do to really chill out
Superb keep the good work up!! Reculver tower was amazing...👍👍🍻🍻
Just found out about this route yesterday. Been a commuter cyclist for just over a year. This is going to do in sections and get the train back to Canterbury. Next summer I would try to attempt it, with wild camping along the way. ❤️✌🏼🙏🏼
Great stuff. Inspiring. Drone shots are fantastic. Just a pity the start is 253 miles away.......... Cheers.
Great video 👍
Stunning drone footage. Tagging the Roman ruins and history was a treat.
Really enjoyed this "episode" a gentle relaxing cycle along the coast. It is interesting to see a part of the world that is so different then mine. And yet simular.
Thank you for sharing
Fish & Chips finally. Great reminder that not every ride need be an epic challenge to be epically wonderful. Thanks!
Beautiful ride on a beautiful day what could be better. 👍
Always looking forward to the drone footage now lol Keep up the great work mate you will soon hit 10k, you deserve it.
Absolutely spot on! Another great video to keep me smiling on another morning wattbike sesh! Keep them coming fella! Amazing work as always 👏 Thank you
This looks like a great starter one. I reckon with all the coast line I could get a couple of mates to join me next year on it. And sea swimming optunties most days hell yeah.
Superb video! Beautifully shot and really well presented. Having just completed the KAW it's next my list. Thank you!
Looks a nice relaxing route to just dawdle and enjoy the views 😎 cheers
definitely one to chill out on
I'm going to cycle from Portsmouth using the NCN 2 route as it's also flat to pick this route up . I was thinking that it looks like you live Bournemouth way that is also on NCN 2 , I wonder if we both set off at the same time how long it would take before you went sailing past me . Thanks for the video.
Might be tame, but your rode it and shared with us. Thank you 👍
Thanks
Great content as always 👍
Thanks very much brian :D
Cantii not Canti - two i's - Great work, keep it up 😊

Great video as always
Just discovered your channel, really enjoying it as it`s inspiring me to get out on my bike. Do you have a playlist for the music you used in this video please? ATB Steve.
Love the video but I have to ask - don't the Ginsters go off in the heat?
Great adventure as always. Just out of interest, what software do you edit you videos from? Cheers
Awesome film, I plan to ride from the same start point, I know you can download the route from cycling uk, would you share your route as it would be perfect, many thanks 🙏
Looks like a nice route, thanks. By the way, if you use the link to Komoot, it says the route is marked private.
Thanks, should be public now
