Perhaps somewhere in the pyramid there is a secret key and when you unlock it, it will transfer it's energy to the other mysterious places around the world. Like: nazca lines, stonehenge, easter island, arizona desert etc. It will form a massive sheild to protect it's people aganist whatever is suppose to hit in the future.

Marble Sarcophagus? It's made of Aswan Granite. Igneous and Metamorphic Sedimentary are VERY different.
