Yes, we do have great places here to spend our vacations, but I think the main fact its that for traveling abroad can be VERY VERY expensive!
I love traveling the world, but I know a lot of people here in Brazil that doesnt has this "dream" of traveling the world like me, or meeting new places.

This island is quite expensive to reach it and they allow only a few ppl to go daily in order to preserve nature as this place is a sanctuary for dolphins, they como reproduce there.

Shuffling your feet gives the stingrays a warning your coming and they in turn shuffle off. They just don’t want to be stepped on. Best to shuffle.

Very true. Maldives is overrun with tourism, unless you pay major moolah for an exclusive lagoon resort. Add high prices for everything, and the value is longer there for what you get for your back.

Pure natural beauty, mostly undisturbed it seems. Good job by whoever provides the much needed protection on such
a small island.
Regular water shoes WILL NOT DO ANYTHING to protect you from Sting Rays.Their barb is like a serrated knife and can go through shoes or skin like a hot knife through butter. You need to find special puncture resistant boots that can protect from the sting, which can be pretty serious and extremely painful.They need to cover up past ankles or higher.

I'll be in FdN in May and I already paid both the taxes (Taxa de Preservação Ambiental and the entrance to the National Marine Park) but I read that I'll need to hire a guide to visit specific locations. Is this guide included in the price that I already paid or is it an extra expense?

Yeah, check 17:50 there are 3 of them doing it synchronized. On this island these birds are doing that all day long, cool to see!
Yes I saw that at the end. For some reason I just happened to catch the one over your wifes shoulder and laughed when I heard the splash. Keep up the good work and honestly I would even enjoy longer videos. May sound odd but its fun to even see what foods you are eating because most of the time, you are enjoying foods some of us have never even heard of. @@JumpingPlaces

My husband and I were in Brazil. Be smart and alert. You are going to need those 2 things to be safe.
Don’t be late on the street. When drinking with locals, please buy your own drinks. When we were there many men were drugged and robbed. Don’t have your phone in your hand. Put your phone in a bag. Don’t be naive.
I suggest hearing the opinion of non-Brazilians traveling in Brazil.

Wow, this is an excellent video guys! We've never heard of Fernando de Noronha until this video. It's definitely on our list to travel to now, but it's crazy expensive. Love the content, keep up the good work 🙌
Fernando de Noronha is an island and natural reserve with logistical difficulties that does not produce anything that it consumes and the products arrive there paying for shipping by sea. The number of people visiting the island per day is limited to 1000 people, for environmental preservation reasons. That's why prices are high. If you want to go there, book in advance depending on space availability. Think about nature and you will understand this. Welcome to Brazil

Well the British, French, and Dutch have all taken turns to claim the island, there was even a joint Spanish/Portuguese claim at one time and a US military base during WWII
