7:31 For those curious, the Gen 3 AI de-prioritizes Rock Tomb and other attacks that reduce speed when the target is already slower than the user. This works to our advantage here since Rock Tomb is also Nosepass's most damaging attack, but it will use Tackle if we are slower. So counter-intuitively, we actually want a slower Treecko for this section, slow enough that at -1 it is outsped by Roxanne's 0 IV Nosepass.
I mean…can we get that mod for ourselves? A quality of life upgrade for nuzlockes would be AWESOME.
I'd really like a universal "Infi-candy Level Cap" mod for any mainline game, the way the Universal Randomizer works on any rom

Genuinely i think they would. The number of HC nerds would outweigh any chance the trolls had. Even at peak hours, its was a 60/40 split between people trying and trolls. On off hours, it was 0 trolls for 2-3+ hours and any that came by got easily outdone
Only problem is it would take a lot of time since they have go wait for the results every time

Democracy ruined the TwitchPlaysPokemon run. Ofcourse they would win with democracy. Democracy is the same as 1 person playing the game except it takes 1000000x longer.
It's okay for something to be impossible. It's okay to just say 'can twitch chat hardcore nuzlocke emerald? ... No.'

Is there a way that rom can go public somehow? Infinicandy is hella convenient, as well as nuzlocke rules being forced, just nice.

i find these to be a fantastic social experiment to show how humans work. it seems like there are always two groups that form in one that wants to achieve a goal together and one that gets pleasure out of ruining it for the other rather than succeeding together. its quite interesting and teaches a lot about life. choose your friends wisely

Please do more attempts with this. I actually think it might be possible to get win this run. Possible idea for slight more help is remove the other two starters and make it only possible to choose Mudkip and if all else fails, make caught Pokémon have perfect IVs, although I honestly don’t know if IVs are a thing in Pokémon emerald since the last time I played it I was literally 6 years old
IVs were definitely a thing in emerald
Dvs are gen 1 2 and ivs are 3 and up
while id love to see it, this was killing the metrics of his live content which impacts sponsorships. i seriously do not see it happen on the main channel again, and moving the userbase somewhere else (trolls included) seems difficult

I was part of it, not the whole run but some gym fights and EV training. It was crazy and the trolls did win sometimes but all in all, pretty nice run.

I tried participating in this but their were some people who were being dedicated trolls and constantly typing B or the opposite of every direction we were trying to go so we would get stuck in menus or stuck trying to heal at a poke center.
That's why I couldn't do something like this. Imagine thinking that that's funny for a MONTH STRAIGHT. Jesus...
