This helped me a lot with my 2012 Mazda 3. Definitely wish I had an 8 mm wrench for that lower bolt. Had to make due with a socket + an adjustable wrench that was barely able to fit. Also, I stuffed a piece of plastic bag inside the door just in case the bolt fell in order to catch it. Saved my ass when one slipped.
+SumerianzNative I planned on rebooting it and adding that part but I had a bit of an issue with where I was living... had to move... and haven't gotten back to it
Thanks for this video. My local shop gave me a $450 estimate to do this! Can you tell me how you loosened the plastic door panel so that you got a straight shot at the partially hidden bolt on the lower right?
@@randomactsofcar310 It turned out to be easy without removing any panels. I got a ratcheting wrench into that narrow space. Thanks very much-you saved me a lot of money! I bought the mirror through your links so you get a little reward.
Hi, my folding mirror motor on my passenger side (mazda 2 2007) is making a constant whirring noise. Is there a way to disconnect the motor by removing that white cable on your video? Thanks!

I feel like in a video on replacing mirrors you should actually replace the mirror.

+SumerianzNative so I went ahead and changed the title... thank you for the feedback
how do i disconnect the white plastic block?!?!?! lost my patience with it!!
Undo all the screws and do it from the mirror side. Once the screws are out the mirror will fall off and it's a peace of piss after that.

Honestly it was awhile ago . I think I used a panel removing tool and just pulled. I can check again soon if you need me to
