Great choice Steve! The Nightfall Mica is another favorite color of mine! Especially how the characteristics change whether you are driving it at night or in direct sunlight.
While I really liked the red it was actually too in your face do I choose white, tan top and interior. Very summery and an understated elegance. Would have chosen red interior but it was too dark and the black dash and wheel turned me off. I’m very big on colored leather steering wheel, the lighter the better 🏖️
Where did you place your order ? I can’t find a dealer anywhere that will take a factory order for a customer. All dealers say factory is not accepting orders. The best dealers can do is try to find something allocated that comes closest to what you want.
I'm so torn. I definitely want to purchase one soon but I can't decide...coupe or convertible. Also the colors all look great. At first I liked white or yellow, but then I saw an Atomic Silver Convertible that looked so classy and really showed off the angles of the car. What would your dream configuration be since you've seen so many?
22 Coupe IR/TC DHP here. IR is my favorite red on the market. The 2UR-GSE is an amazing NA V8. The entire car is worth more than its price. Shut your eyes, whats the first color you go to? Thats your color.
This is a great question Paul! So normally I always default myself to a coupe and not a convertible. However to me the LC has such a nice side and rear profile in the convertible that I would for sure lean that way! There are even some nice parts from companies like Artisan Spirits that can accentuate those lines even more (there's even a kit to make it look more like a speedster). Now if if the looks of the convertible aren't enough to go that route, there is also one more unexpected benefit. THE SOUND! The convertible allows you to hear the exhaust note a bit more clearer and hear more detail of the sound of the engine which to me was a very pleasant surprise! However the coupe is a great choice as well, but I personally would lean convertible! I hope this helps! Thanks for watching!
5:50 Yea Lexus will most likely drop the line for 25 is my guess. So 24 will be the last year. I say that because they have a few replacements in the works, most notably being the GT3 Homologation which has my eye as an existing LC owner. And yes this absolutely will be a collector car. That was the singular mission behind the car. Akio wanted a car Lexus could put out on display at the Pebble Beach Car show one day as a classic. And it will be.
I actually hadn't came across the GT3 until reading your comment so thank you for that! The fact that you knew about Akio's goal of Pebble Beach Car show is very impressive, you must be a Lexus enthusiast! Thanks for watching and for your comment!
5:28 I beg to differ. The base stock 911 is on par w/ this car on paper. Add to that I've actually test driven both back to back so i can say with confidence the base 911 is on par w/ the LC. It becomes off kilter when you take both to the track and find out the LC runs out of transmission temp before brakes or the 911 and you have your answer... for the track. So knowing I'm not tracking my LC on the daily, i daily my LC on the street. Its fast enough to dust scat packs, f types, wrx, type Rs, SS, GT, sure i cant handle a Deamon, or an LT1, GT500, i know my limits. But i don't need that. Ill smoke em on my Ducati if need be i have the speed for my fix. Saying all that the LC is a fantastic car that rides like a dream, handles fantastic w/ the RWS w/ great turn in, and you look sexy doing it. Jaws drop at gas stations, you don't get that in a 911. Sorry you don't. Ive had that happen twice. And auto shows are great cause its a sea of 911's and you might be the only LC there which draws a crowd. Been there. Its like driving a supermodel.
Another great comment! It sounds like you are for sure better versed on the LC versus 911 than I am since you own one and have done the comparisons yourself. If we were to do a comparison video on the LC versus a competitor, do you have any feedback on what that should be? No promises but I would like to do that. Also I'm happy to see another Ducati enthusiast here as well, I actually have a Panigale myself! Anyway great feedback and again thank you!
I want to start by saying that my LC 500 was a wonderful car. I loved the way it sounded, and it was incredibly fast as well. Still, I sold it out of my lease a year early to grab that equity last November. Having said that, the CONS: No AWD, no moonroof, stereo had no bass, no surround view camera... and overall, just outdated tech. I will miss it, though.
Just found my LC500 convertible. Nightfall mica. With black and red interior. I love the car. No other car comes close.

I bought a 2023 Convertible last week The car is gorgeous. I’m very excited🏖️
Great choice David! I hope you get to start enjoying it soon!

driving this summer...😊😊😊😊
Oh wow, I would be curious to see it, you use Instagram ?
GREAT CHOICE! I haven't seen the orange interior in person, so if you are ever in the area please stop by Performance Lexus and show us!
@@PerformanceLexusNiagara oooo I didn’t know there was orange interior offered, what color is the dash and steering wheel. Best of luck🏖️

Definitely will be a classic car one day. It punches way above its price range and is something very unique.
Yes I very much agree!! Thanks for watching!

I bought one for the styling but see it as a future collectible . Very excited it won’t come soon enough 🏖️

I like that a lot , “like driving a super model” very well put🏖️
Waiting for the 2024 model to come out. It’s supposed to have a new touchscreen & a 360 degree camera.

I do hope we get an update to the LC to include some newer tech for sure! That would really make this car over the top!
