When you say tighten the cocking handle, not sure what you mean exactly. The cocking lever attached to the bolt with a two screw system. You’ll need two flat head screw drivers to loosen/tighten it. Unless you’re asking about the drop down lever?
@@tylerpatner6591 yeah the handle itself on the avenger gets loose after 1000 plus shots so I remove the rear rail to access that screw and tighten it up to get rid of the slack but it’s reversible so that may just solve that issue great gun can’t wait to place my order for the new Avenge-X
The Avenger barrels have done well with a number of slugs. I think it's possible, if they follow the modular approach, that barrels optimized for slugs may become a thing.
Every regulated PCP has a plenum, it's the portion of the gun where the regulated air is stored before being fired. So yes, the Avenge-X does have a plenum
Why can’t the buffer tube be changed on the Tactical version? I would like to add a folding mechanism and then the stock of my choice using a Mil-Spec buffer tube. There are a lot more stocks available using a Mil-Spec buffer tube than a commercial version.
I don’t know the answer to that, but I have two guesses. The first guess is that the configuration you’re talking about costs more and they’re trying to bring the rifle in at a particular price point. The second guess is that AirVenturi is a global company and the US market is only a fraction of where they anticipate sales to take place. While folding stocks aren’t problematic here, they are illegal in other places. It’s possible, and maybe even likely that there is something behind door number three that I’m not thinking of this morning.
@@WiscAirGunners Im not talking about Air Venturi supplying the rifle in this configuration but I was inquiring as to why the buffer tube is not removable and replaceable in the first place. Going to a folding adapter is something that I was hoping to do. Without more modularity on the Tactical version, I am not quite sure what it provides over the standard version but aesthetics.
