Link Monsters have arrows on the cards, where those arrows point to are where other Link monsters can be summoned to. CO-Link is when the arrows of 2 Link monsters point to each other. So if a link monster has an arrow down and the link monster below it has one pointing up, they are CO-Linked.

I also play a blue eyes deck, and the only way I've been able to even come close to beating an Eldlich deck, was by using Blue Eyes Spirit to negate golden Lord's ability in the GY. I was able to banish all three golden lords and he ran out of Conquistadors, and when i finally thought i had my opponent, i got hit with a magic cylinder and died... most heartbreaking loss in my life.

It's really fun watching someone use a deck that's not just meta abuse. I myself managed to push to Plat playing a Traptrix deck, and it was pretty fun most of time!
Oh God no offense trapix is a really powerful deck but I can't stand them lmao they always give me a hard time. Although I recently did bear someone in either plat or gold tier 1 playing that deck and it was pretty satisfying.
Co-link means when two link monster's arrows are pointing to each other. Around the monster art for link monsters, you'll see arrows. If one link arrow points to another link monster and vice versa, it's co-linked
I run Red Eyes, Odd Eyes, and Resonator simultaneously with some Dark Magician on the side. The main one I run is Red Eyes, since I like the cards they have for support and Red Stone Of Legend is a pretty good searcher for any of my Red Eyes Monsters.
I feel you on that. I main Red-Eyes too, but the deck has been pretty interesting without Dark Dragoon, and the complete dragon link support. We actually need to play now.
I went up against that type of deck and it was nightmare bro. I forgot if I won or not. wait i think I remember what happened. The dude accidently used a spell that combined with another spell to increase his attack and defense by double but he used it on my blue eyes instead of his red eyes and he just press alt f 4 right after he made that mistake. I think he was too mad at himself for that one. it ended up giving me a 6400 blue eyes and a 4k defense. so at that moment he fucked up.
There are people who got into platinum with Blue-Eyes! Its just that getting to the top ranks in general is very hard. I'm playing Dragunity, the deck has such sick options with new releases, so this deck can compete even though its a 2010 archetype
I'm currently running a blue eyes deck that involves chaos dragon and chaos max. I was able to defeat a couple eldich decks with it. I am gonna build a Red eyes deck next.
I felt that when Rhyme won against Eldlich. As someone who plays Phantom Knights, playing against Eldlich is a personal nightmare. I’ve been stuck between Gold 4 and 3 just because of Eldlich and Pendulum. Pendulum I can actually beat if I can set up first but Eldlich it’s pretty much impossible.

@@bloodarcher7841 going 2nd you would have to clear 5 backrow and otk cause the traps can banish and float into more traps. Going 1st you would need 5 omni negates and then otk turn 3. Not many decks can do that. The only sure counter is abyss dweller as it stops gy effs or cards that banish things form the gy to stop their engine
I also run blue eyes but it’s more focused on BE Chaos Max. This is my first yugioh game since the 5Ds on ds and so far I’m loving it, the next deck I wanna build and tryout is the red supernova deck
I run Traptrix with amazement, I managed to hit platinum but going second hurts a lot. But funnily enough out of all the meta decks the one I have less trouble with is Eldich, but going second against Tri-brigade it's almost impossible with my deck.
I can't help but feel I'm in a similar place to Rhyme with my Ancient Gears. It feels so satisfying to land a punch with my boss monsters, but it's so easy to lose to Elditch or Dragonmaids. Next deck, I'm thinking Qliphorts.
Good news about Qliphorts is if you're using their card pack you'll also get a bunch of infernoids. Both are solid decks (even if infernoids are a bit janky in games because you can accidentally tribute them with their own effects and can't go back).
I personally run my own version of blue eyes, inspired by you, but also a cyberse/cynet deck lead by Accesscode talker, it's basic but I really love the link summon cards and the variety they bring
A stupidly simple card like Dimension Wall destroys Eldlich after you bait some Solemns, GL forevers (if they even run that). There's no glory in beating Eldlich, Drytron on the other hand if opponent goes first...The guy who makes these videos is just as clueless about how many things counter Eldlich.

To answer your question I started playing the game with a similar BEWD deck to yours then got annoyed at bricking 70% of the time so I picked up Phantom Knights and pushed to plat with ease
Hey, while I’m here I drafted up a list, allows BEWD to play going second, but also gives it minor board building ability. I included explanations for most cards, why they are included, and what they do. 3x BEWD, Alt and Trade in (can’t leave home without em) 1x Levianeer (searchable, gets you into draglubion as an extender going second) 2x dragon spirit of white (recyclable backrow hate is good in this format) 1x Blue-Eyes solid dragon (forces out negates, is another Blue-Eyes name, can avoid negation like veiler and imperm, and is consistently summonable off of sage. Run this.) 2x nebula (cuttable, I like this as an extension to, once again make draglubion through negation/interruption) 3x white stone of ancients (.) 2x white stone of legend (this deck runs successor soul, so running 3 isn’t the best idea but you still want to see it) 3x sage (do I even need to say anything?) 2x cards of consonance (cuttable, I don’t run very much to dump eggs, so….) 3x melody (yes.) 3x bingo machine, go!!! (Searcher, also adds destined rivals which is a 1 turn 1 sided skill drain) 3x successor soul (this card is so good on god. You use one of your effect monsters and one of your opponent’s to special a normal monster from deck or hand. Also it’s quick play. Effective on both turns, if you Brick with an egg? That’s a super poly, you make draglubion into harbinger? You also have a super poly for monster interruption. Need to force a negate or break a board, guess what’s got your back.) 3x destined rivals (cuttable, I just really like this card but it can be very “win more”) 3 Maxx C (ocg is wild.) Extra is like 9 required spots and the rest is flex(ible) or prosperity fodder 1x twin burst (I run 2 but not needed) 1x azure (can run 2 if you want) 2x spirit (you CAN run 3 but you probably shouldn’t) 1x Michael the arch-lightsworn, and 1 black rose moonlight dragon (targets off of spirit, moonlight bounces a monster on summon, and Michael gives you non destruction removal) 1x draglubion, harbinger, numeron dragon (yes) Other options/improvements you can make. Non monster S/T hate. When the skill is drained!!!! More HT (veiler, ash, droll, the works.) Pot of Prosperity (you have the ED space) HT hate (crossout designator, called by) And there’s likely more. Also true light is bad, don’t run it in this format. Too much S/T hate. If you were to sub anything out, your best targets are consonance, nebula and destined rivals.
Note about solid dodging cards like veiler, cards like veiler, infinite impermanence , and forbidden chalice need the monster to stay on field to negate them. If you chain solid to their activation, you can hop off the field. Similarly, dragon spirit of white can avoid effects like that, and can remove skill drain if they have a monster, how you would do it is you summon dragon spirit, activate the effect and target skill drain, than chain with its second effect (skill drain negates effects, but since dragon spirit tributes for cost* it leaves the field before it attempts to resolve, meaning it is off the field. Meaning you can out skill drain.) *cost Cost is basically any text for an effect behind the ;. It is paid on attempting of activation, and the opponent cannot negate you paying cost cost. For example, the card text of trade in is “Discard 1 level 8 monster; draw 2 cards.” If my opponent has an ash blossom and a card that negates discarding and I activate trade in, he cannot attempt to activate the card that negates discarding, so I would send blue-eyes, but if he has an ash blossom I would not draw. If the semi colon was NOT there, than if your opponent ash blossomed, than you would not send the level 8 to the grave.
In the first 2 days of Master duel, I managed to rise to plat 5 with my blue eyes deck. After that day though, I only faced tier 3 and higher decks so I've had to give up on that and make a drytron deck. I feel horrible for the things I've done to other players with that deck T_T
Pointing on links mean, basically the red arrows pointing at certain zones of the board. So for instance, if the Arrow points down where the card is position, it will gain the effect if it has an effect that activates when it points to something.
Co-link is when 2 link monsters' link arrows point ot each others' zones. So Something Like accesscode talker has 4 link arrows pointing in the cardinal directions (up, down, left, right) if it's in the extra monster zone, and you have a link monster that points up underneath it, they are considered co-linked. As opposed to linked. When one monster is linked to another, that monster has it's link arrows pointing to the zone that another monster is in, BOTH OF THESE INCLUDE YOUR OPPONENT'S MONSTERS.
I run D/D/D deck, as I like the character who use them in the anime, Reiji and also this deck makes me feel like the master of the extra deck as with the right hand I can fusion summon, synchro summon, Xyz summon and link summon, having all 4 of these summons on the field and destroy my opponent. But I feel I wanna run either virtual world or something as interesting as D/D/D

I myself run a Mayakashi deck with some generic support options Revive traps Gravity Collapse Give and Take (brutal in this deck) Boost Warrior (level 1 you can special if you control a tuner) Orbital Hydralander (Mills and destroys) Jack o Bolan (more Rez and hard to remove) Uni-zombie (for my even synchros) Sunsaga and Shogunsaga (oddball scenarios Skillsaga supremacy (revives and indestructible) The end result creates this interesting hybrid strat of control/beatdown by using destructions and revivals to trigger effects to control the battle Oh. And Mezuki. For obvious reasons
I learned the hard way about these new metas 🤣 but now I run a mix of Red Eyes, Blue Eyes and Dark Magician. It is godly whenever I try to switch strategies mid game.
My current deck is Cyber Dragons. I loved them ever since I saw them in GX. The decks I want to use eventually are Crystal Beasts, Neo Spacians, Red Eyes, and Cyber Angels
Pointing is when the red arrows are "pointed" to a monster a that makes it linked with that monster(s) or sometimes another link monster. I hope this helped rhyme.
0:15 just because it's a top deck does not make it toxic, running mystic mine, inspector boarder, el shaddoll winda, and other floodgates which all of the above are rogue tier cards but they require specific outs that not all decks run because their rogue. 1:30 this is correct However it's not luck it's consistency, rhyme you run a lot of one of cards with not as many searchers. I honestly urge you to try chaos max, the whole deck is centered around getting a big fat 4k beater who is unaffected by card effects. Very few decks get over that 2:20 eldlich dies pretty quick to spell trap removal from none monster effects, twin twisters are very effective if you could squeeze 2 in there, or a harpy's feather duster Also learning how link monsters work should be a priority because they are very relevant and your deck could use quite a few like linkuriboh, a guardragon, maybe a borrelsword dragon but link 4 seems a little expensive for your deck.
As a duelist who plays Raidraptors, Eldlich is a nightmare to go against. This was super inspiring. I’m trying to create a good Speedroid deck at the moment.
@Rhymestyle link cards have arrows that point in different directions so when a card is in a slot the link card is pointing to it is co-linked. It works on either side of the field.
Don't know if you will see this rhyme but when a Link Monster lists "co-Linked" its referring to the red arrows on the card. that's what it means to be pointing, so like for Knightmare Phoenix its red arrows are top and right, so if you had put your Blue eyes directly in front of it you would have been Co-Linked to it. I personally maximize the view on Link cards to see where their arrows will be pointing
I play level 10 trains and skull servants. I love them both mainly because I never see anyone else use them and watching my attack values skyrocket into 100,000s never fails to put a smile on my face

Co-linked means when link monsters have their arrows are touching, like a monster in the extra zone has an arrow pointing down and a link monster below it has a arrow pointing up. When arrows for link monsters are technically touching tips, it’s called co-linked
Here’s the most simplest explanation about links: 1. Co-linked means that two links need to point at each other or one is pointing at the other depends on what card 2. This is determined by where the red arrows are, so in knightmare phoenix case a monster needs to be behind with a red arrow pointing to it as well that’s a co-link 3. If u want to flex, u can link summon to the point where u have a extra link which takes the other special monster zone theoretically giving 7 links on the field.
Hearing you ask I don't know if you are aware, but there's a continuous trap called "Dragon's bead" (or something like that) that protects dragon type monster against trap cards

I run Toon deck. Its been updated a few times. Really only made it cause I always was fond of them from the show. Been winning left and right. Didnt know I was beating decks I wasnt supposed to, Eldich, DM, Drydon and others. Of course, it doesnt work all the time, but love playing it none the less.
I don't have master duels yet, but on duel links I like to run a half magician and half blue eyes deck. If you have buster blader or any buster blader fusion, make sure to get five headed dragon for the extra deck so you get 3500 bonus attack for the bladder fusion monster
I run two decks - though I've thought of a bunch of other decks I might consider for future events or to complete secret missions (e.g. "Noble Knights"). Going until Platinum, I played "S-Force" which was a lot of fun, but then I needed something more competitive to reach Plat 1 so I also made "Code Talker". I built my decks with the idea of letting the opponent play (i.e. minimal negation / no hand traps) and either disrupt them or OTK.
@Rhymestyle What I like running with Eldich you can mix up the samurai specters (shitanzu) as well as god cards with mound of the bound creator because eldich is a 10 star monster. Shiranzu cards have a lot optimization for banishing those cards to destroy your opponents as well as bring them back from the banish pile. Sooooo if eldich don’t kill you, Shiranzu cards will (especially the synchros) & if none of the above kill you then either the gods or sacred beasts will….. (NOW THATS TOXIC)
I've been trying a toon deck. Even though I don't have the best cards for it yet, it's funny as hell when you're able to yoink a strong card with Comic Hand and keep it for a while
My favorite to run right now is Gouki, it can kinda be solitaire at times, but I love the aesthetic of the cards and the way they play feels pretty good to me. There’s also not an absurd amount of high rarity pieces to the deck either.

I play a Virtual Word deck. I'm new to the game as Master Duel is the first time I'm actually playing and learning Yu-gi-Oh in depth so I still look at deck profiles. I'm currently building a Prank kids deck to see how those play.
what B.E.S does is, summon some ships who cannot be destroyed by battle, each time a ship battles it loses a counter, if it has no counters to lose it destroys itself, which is where boss rush comes into play, at during the end phase you replace the ship with a new one, however with zelos on the field everything is a million times better, as they all cant be targeted or destroyed by the opponents effects, they all gain 500 atk and def, it searches a boss rush when activated and if any B.E.S monster is summon it gains a new counter, and you can summon a ship from hand for free each turn. also 2 crystal core can make infinity.
I'm a little late because I've been playing catch up with the master duel content, but I feel you on the front of playing the non meta deck in the meta world. I'm a Superheavy Samurai player, and let me tell you, they do not have counters to meta decks. But I am interested in trying out Thunder Dragons, so that should be fun
Currently I'm running cyberse, fluffal and Luna light. Cyberse being my most meta deck but I have fun with all 3. I am planning to make an odd-eyes deck because odd eyes was my introduction to yugioh
I made a punk kids deck before I learned it was meta-ish, I really enjoy it, I loved it from the start because of the boss monster. I will say I have quite a few hard matchups but I currently have a 78% WR and I’m about to be plat. I usually only play one deck for awhile but I might make a Dark Magician because I used to play that back in the day.
I personally run Buster Blader cuz he is my favorite of the og monsters and Kozmos cuz I love their aesthetic and how they play. I recommend that you try a Buster Blader deck since you love the nostalgia factor. Loving the content as always man!!!
Currently running Dark magicians! super fun combos & very nostalgic! next is probably thunderdragons...or maybe witchcrafters if I keep losing to them xD
Rhymestyle bro I recommend playing draw cards to boost the consistency at the cost of handtraps and certain non essential cards. It allows you to stack your hand to one that works lol. Trust me Nibiru and Lightning storm are good cards, but it takes from the consistency of your deck that's why you feel your deck is hit or miss. Masterful doesn't have a side deck yet but those cards are more suited for a side deck. If you take them out you can still play around your opponents stuff.
I started temporarily running Royal Decree when I had 4 back-to-back Eldlich matches, just out of spite, and those nerds definitely scoop right away if you hit em with it lol
Ancient Gears are a surprisingly good matchup against Eldlich (unless they open Imperial Order obv). Howitzer is immune to effects and can float, Chaos Giant is immune to all spells and traps and the deck comes with backrow hate like Reactor Dragon.

I am addicted to this game too. I know how brick eyes deck is. And how many times have I modified the deck by the meta just learning how to use the meta it's overwhelming but my highest for months was Gold Rank but one season I went to Diamond rank 3 then I am stuck at Gold Rank after the 2 drop downs from Platinum and then after that stuck at gold.
rhyme is a blue eyes monster that is unaffected by card effect called blue eyes alternative ultimate dragon and if you summon it with blue eyes alternative dragon you can destroy 3 cards, but you can't attack the turn you activate that effect
Rhyme, You might want to get Relinquished anima just in case you brick with so much tuners in your hand. Just read the effect of that card, it's flexible and good for decks with level 1 tuners. Good video btw, I run blue eyes too so I always watch your vid lol! Good luck on your way to plat!
I play link monster a lot so I’ll explain. First when a link monster summon it have two effect a summon effect and action effect. The action effect is a effect you active on it. Second is that if you summon a another link monster you have a another in the field it call a co link and it summon can do it twice or once if you play the right card. Third and last is call a link lock it stop your play if you make play a good card and your combo is stop
I like to run the unique number 59 beat down basically cards that when used as Xyz material they increase the attack points as opposed to running Final Countdown or Exodia pieces
I run a Cubic Deck right now. Although it's not that great, I enjoy just messing with my opponents using the Vijam seed and the cubic lord. I even made one opponent got their 5 monsters on the field negated of effects and also cannot attack and he just surrendered. It might be a little toxic but it's pretty fun when I pull it out.
I'm in platinum with Junk Doppel but you are right it's Eldrich, Strikers, Prankids, Traptricks, Ritual Fairies, that Beast link deck and Dragonmaids up here.
fairly decent build but... recent winner was running mausoleum / sage combos... this deck appears to be a direct copy off of the boards that have been brewing them (specifically a heavy german brewed deck relying on Maxx "C" and Skill Drain.

I also play a blue eyes deck, and the only way I've been able to even come close to beating an Eldlich deck, was by using Blue Eyes Spirit to negate golden Lord's ability in the GY. I was able to banish all three golden lords and he ran out of Conquistadors, and when i finally thought i had my opponent, i got hit with a magic cylinder and died... most heartbreaking loss in my life.
Lmaoooo im an Eldlich player since I was struggling hard with ancient gears in Gold 3. Now I will bring more misery by adding magic cylinder THANKSSSS

Oh God no offense trapix is a really powerful deck but I can't stand them lmao they always give me a hard time. Although I recently did bear someone in either plat or gold tier 1 playing that deck and it was pretty satisfying.
Co-link means when two link monster's arrows are pointing to each other. Around the monster art for link monsters, you'll see arrows. If one link arrow points to another link monster and vice versa, it's co-linked
I run Red Eyes, Odd Eyes, and Resonator simultaneously with some Dark Magician on the side. The main one I run is Red Eyes, since I like the cards they have for support and Red Stone Of Legend is a pretty good searcher for any of my Red Eyes Monsters.

I went up against that type of deck and it was nightmare bro. I forgot if I won or not. wait i think I remember what happened. The dude accidently used a spell that combined with another spell to increase his attack and defense by double but he used it on my blue eyes instead of his red eyes and he just press alt f 4 right after he made that mistake. I think he was too mad at himself for that one. it ended up giving me a 6400 blue eyes and a 4k defense. so at that moment he fucked up.
There are people who got into platinum with Blue-Eyes! Its just that getting to the top ranks in general is very hard.
I'm playing Dragunity, the deck has such sick options with new releases, so this deck can compete even though its a 2010 archetype

I like running stardust, resonator, cyber, and blue eyes. Those have always been decks that I love to run so I get to use them full force
I felt that when Rhyme won against Eldlich. As someone who plays Phantom Knights, playing against Eldlich is a personal nightmare. I’ve been stuck between Gold 4 and 3 just because of Eldlich and Pendulum. Pendulum I can actually beat if I can set up first but Eldlich it’s pretty much impossible.
Eldlich is a completely fair deck, play backrow destruction and it’s a matter of time to kill me.

@@bloodarcher7841 going 2nd you would have to clear 5 backrow and otk cause the traps can banish and float into more traps. Going 1st you would need 5 omni negates and then otk turn 3. Not many decks can do that. The only sure counter is abyss dweller as it stops gy effs or cards that banish things form the gy to stop their engine
I also run blue eyes but it’s more focused on BE Chaos Max. This is my first yugioh game since the 5Ds on ds and so far I’m loving it, the next deck I wanna build and tryout is the red supernova deck

I run Akaba Reiji's D/D/D deck, i find it fun because of the four summoning method that it uses (Fusion, Synchros, XYZ's and Pendulum)

I run Traptrix with amazement, I managed to hit platinum but going second hurts a lot. But funnily enough out of all the meta decks the one I have less trouble with is Eldich, but going second against Tri-brigade it's almost impossible with my deck.

I can't help but feel I'm in a similar place to Rhyme with my Ancient Gears. It feels so satisfying to land a punch with my boss monsters, but it's so easy to lose to Elditch or Dragonmaids.
Next deck, I'm thinking Qliphorts.
Good news about Qliphorts is if you're using their card pack you'll also get a bunch of infernoids. Both are solid decks (even if infernoids are a bit janky in games because you can accidentally tribute them with their own effects and can't go back).
I personally run my own version of blue eyes, inspired by you, but also a cyberse/cynet deck lead by Accesscode talker, it's basic but I really love the link summon cards and the variety they bring

A stupidly simple card like Dimension Wall destroys Eldlich after you bait some Solemns, GL forevers (if they even run that). There's no glory in beating Eldlich, Drytron on the other hand if opponent goes first...The guy who makes these videos is just as clueless about how many things counter Eldlich.

I’ve been running, Nurse Burn. It’s very fun, as like Exodia decks, I either win or lose, but I don’t take a million years to finish my turn.
To answer your question I started playing the game with a similar BEWD deck to yours then got annoyed at bricking 70% of the time so I picked up Phantom Knights and pushed to plat with ease
Same but I went towards Heroes mainly the Elemental hero neos it's been going well with the various other heroes.
Hey, while I’m here I drafted up a list, allows BEWD to play going second, but also gives it minor board building ability. I included explanations for most cards, why they are included, and what they do.
3x BEWD, Alt and Trade in (can’t leave home without em)
1x Levianeer (searchable, gets you into draglubion as an extender going second)
2x dragon spirit of white (recyclable backrow hate is good in this format)
1x Blue-Eyes solid dragon (forces out negates, is another Blue-Eyes name, can avoid negation like veiler and imperm, and is consistently summonable off of sage. Run this.)
2x nebula (cuttable, I like this as an extension to, once again make draglubion through negation/interruption)
3x white stone of ancients (.)
2x white stone of legend (this deck runs successor soul, so running 3 isn’t the best idea but you still want to see it)
3x sage (do I even need to say anything?)
2x cards of consonance (cuttable, I don’t run very much to dump eggs, so….)
3x melody (yes.)
3x bingo machine, go!!! (Searcher, also adds destined rivals which is a 1 turn 1 sided skill drain)
3x successor soul (this card is so good on god. You use one of your effect monsters and one of your opponent’s to special a normal monster from deck or hand. Also it’s quick play. Effective on both turns, if you Brick with an egg? That’s a super poly, you make draglubion into harbinger? You also have a super poly for monster interruption. Need to force a negate or break a board, guess what’s got your back.)
3x destined rivals (cuttable, I just really like this card but it can be very “win more”)
3 Maxx C (ocg is wild.)
Extra is like 9 required spots and the rest is flex(ible) or prosperity fodder
1x twin burst (I run 2 but not needed)
1x azure (can run 2 if you want)
2x spirit (you CAN run 3 but you probably shouldn’t)
1x Michael the arch-lightsworn, and 1 black rose moonlight dragon (targets off of spirit, moonlight bounces a monster on summon, and Michael gives you non destruction removal)

And there’s likely more. Also true light is bad, don’t run it in this format. Too much S/T hate.
If you were to sub anything out, your best targets are consonance, nebula and destined rivals.
Note about solid dodging cards like veiler, cards like veiler, infinite impermanence , and forbidden chalice need the monster to stay on field to negate them. If you chain solid to their activation, you can hop off the field.
Similarly, dragon spirit of white can avoid effects like that, and can remove skill drain if they have a monster, how you would do it is you summon dragon spirit, activate the effect and target skill drain, than chain with its second effect (skill drain negates effects, but since dragon spirit tributes for cost* it leaves the field before it attempts to resolve, meaning it is off the field. Meaning you can out skill drain.)
*cost
Cost is basically any text for an effect behind the ;. It is paid on attempting of activation, and the opponent cannot negate you paying cost cost. For example, the card text of trade in is
“Discard 1 level 8 monster; draw 2 cards.”
If my opponent has an ash blossom and a card that negates discarding and I activate trade in, he cannot attempt to activate the card that negates discarding, so I would send blue-eyes, but if he has an ash blossom I would not draw. If the semi colon was NOT there, than if your opponent ash blossomed, than you would not send the level 8 to the grave.
In the first 2 days of Master duel, I managed to rise to plat 5 with my blue eyes deck. After that day though, I only faced tier 3 and higher decks so I've had to give up on that and make a drytron deck. I feel horrible for the things I've done to other players with that deck T_T
Pointing on links mean, basically the red arrows pointing at certain zones of the board. So for instance, if the Arrow points down where the card is position, it will gain the effect if it has an effect that activates when it points to something.
When blue eyes jet dragon and the other new supports come out I’ll definitely be playing this game a lot more
Co-link is when 2 link monsters' link arrows point ot each others' zones.
So Something Like accesscode talker has 4 link arrows pointing in the cardinal directions (up, down, left, right) if it's in the extra monster zone, and you have a link monster that points up underneath it, they are considered co-linked.
As opposed to linked. When one monster is linked to another, that monster has it's link arrows pointing to the zone that another monster is in,
BOTH OF THESE INCLUDE YOUR OPPONENT'S MONSTERS.
I run D/D/D deck, as I like the character who use them in the anime, Reiji and also this deck makes me feel like the master of the extra deck as with the right hand I can fusion summon, synchro summon, Xyz summon and link summon, having all 4 of these summons on the field and destroy my opponent. But I feel I wanna run either virtual world or something as interesting as D/D/D

The end result creates this interesting hybrid strat of control/beatdown by using destructions and revivals to trigger effects to control the battle

I learned the hard way about these new metas 🤣 but now I run a mix of Red Eyes, Blue Eyes and Dark Magician. It is godly whenever I try to switch strategies mid game.
My current deck is Cyber Dragons. I loved them ever since I saw them in GX.
The decks I want to use eventually are Crystal Beasts, Neo Spacians, Red Eyes, and Cyber Angels

Pointing is when the red arrows are "pointed" to a monster a that makes it linked with that monster(s) or sometimes another link monster. I hope this helped rhyme.
0:15 just because it's a top deck does not make it toxic, running mystic mine, inspector boarder, el shaddoll winda, and other floodgates which all of the above are rogue tier cards but they require specific outs that not all decks run because their rogue.
1:30 this is correct However it's not luck it's consistency, rhyme you run a lot of one of cards with not as many searchers. I honestly urge you to try chaos max, the whole deck is centered around getting a big fat 4k beater who is unaffected by card effects. Very few decks get over that
2:20 eldlich dies pretty quick to spell trap removal from none monster effects, twin twisters are very effective if you could squeeze 2 in there, or a harpy's feather duster
Also learning how link monsters work should be a priority because they are very relevant and your deck could use quite a few like linkuriboh, a guardragon, maybe a borrelsword dragon but link 4 seems a little expensive for your deck.
As a duelist who plays Raidraptors, Eldlich is a nightmare to go against. This was super inspiring.

@Rhymestyle link cards have arrows that point in different directions so when a card is in a slot the link card is pointing to it is co-linked. It works on either side of the field.
Don't know if you will see this rhyme but when a Link Monster lists "co-Linked" its referring to the red arrows on the card. that's what it means to be pointing, so like for Knightmare Phoenix its red arrows are top and right, so if you had put your Blue eyes directly in front of it you would have been Co-Linked to it. I personally maximize the view on Link cards to see where their arrows will be pointing
I play level 10 trains and skull servants. I love them both mainly because I never see anyone else use them and watching my attack values skyrocket into 100,000s never fails to put a smile on my face
I'm new to playing Yu-Gi-Oh! I just run machine and warrior monsters, namely the junk archetype. My favorite pair of monsters overall are Lefty and Right Driver. Such fun cards honestly.
Co linked basically means that when a monster is linked summoned if you look at the card there are arrows on the link monster which indicate what monster zones the card points to and when a monster is summoned to a zone the link monster points to it is co linked
Linked means when a link monsters arrow just points to another monster. Co-linked means when link monsters have their arrows are touching, like a monster in the extra zone has an arrow pointing down and a link monster below it has a arrow pointing up. When arrows for link monsters are technically touching tips, it’s called co-linked
Here’s the most simplest explanation about links:
1. Co-linked means that two links need to point at each other or one is pointing at the other depends on what card
2. This is determined by where the red arrows are, so in knightmare phoenix case a monster needs to be behind with a red arrow pointing to it as well that’s a co-link
3. If u want to flex, u can link summon to the point where u have a extra link which takes the other special monster zone theoretically giving 7 links on the field.
Hearing you ask I don't know if you are aware, but there's a continuous trap called "Dragon's bead" (or something like that) that protects dragon type monster against trap cards

I run Toon deck. Its been updated a few times. Really only made it cause I always was fond of them from the show. Been winning left and right. Didnt know I was beating decks I wasnt supposed to, Eldich, DM, Drydon and others. Of course, it doesnt work all the time, but love playing it none the less.

I don't have master duels yet, but on duel links I like to run a half magician and half blue eyes deck. If you have buster blader or any buster blader fusion, make sure to get five headed dragon for the extra deck so you get 3500 bonus attack for the bladder fusion monster

I run two decks - though I've thought of a bunch of other decks I might consider for future events or to complete secret missions (e.g. "Noble Knights").
Going until Platinum, I played "S-Force" which was a lot of fun, but then I needed something more competitive to reach Plat 1 so I also made "Code Talker". I built my decks with the idea of letting the opponent play (i.e. minimal negation / no hand traps) and either disrupt them or OTK.

What I like running with Eldich you can mix up the samurai specters (shitanzu) as well as god cards with mound of the bound creator because eldich is a 10 star monster. Shiranzu cards have a lot optimization for banishing those cards to destroy your opponents as well as bring them back from the banish pile.
Sooooo if eldich don’t kill you, Shiranzu cards will (especially the synchros) & if none of the above kill you then either the gods or sacred beasts will….. (NOW THATS TOXIC)

I've been trying a toon deck. Even though I don't have the best cards for it yet, it's funny as hell when you're able to yoink a strong card with Comic Hand and keep it for a while
My favorite to run right now is Gouki, it can kinda be solitaire at times, but I love the aesthetic of the cards and the way they play feels pretty good to me. There’s also not an absurd amount of high rarity pieces to the deck either.

I run noble knights mainly right now and it has been a hilarious ride
what B.E.S does is, summon some ships who cannot be destroyed by battle, each time a ship battles it loses a counter, if it has no counters to lose it destroys itself, which is where boss rush comes into play, at during the end phase you replace the ship with a new one, however with zelos on the field everything is a million times better, as they all cant be targeted or destroyed by the opponents effects, they all gain 500 atk and def, it searches a boss rush when activated and if any B.E.S monster is summon it gains a new counter, and you can summon a ship from hand for free each turn. also 2 crystal core can make infinity.
I run Black Luster Soldier mainly because i always loved the warrior type monsters like Gaia, I hope to run Pendulum after to spice up my gameplay.
Rosedragon deck and a noble knights deck with merlin, I've always loved zombie decks and I've been thinking about making a vampire lord deck.

I made a punk kids deck before I learned it was meta-ish, I really enjoy it, I loved it from the start because of the boss monster. I will say I have quite a few hard matchups but I currently have a 78% WR and I’m about to be plat. I usually only play one deck for awhile but I might make a Dark Magician because I used to play that back in the day.
(blue-eyes/max chaos), (blue-eyes/red-eyes darkness/azure), traptrix, rah, dryton(for meta cheese), (3) different turn 1 exodia decks, skull servant, masked hero, destiny hero, ddd, dark world, buster blader, red-eyes, stardust, and cookie pendulum.
I personally run Buster Blader cuz he is my favorite of the og monsters and Kozmos cuz I love their aesthetic and how they play. I recommend that you try a Buster Blader deck since you love the nostalgia factor. Loving the content as always man!!!

Rhymestyle bro I recommend playing draw cards to boost the consistency at the cost of handtraps and certain non essential cards. It allows you to stack your hand to one that works lol. Trust me Nibiru and Lightning storm are good cards, but it takes from the consistency of your deck that's why you feel your deck is hit or miss. Masterful doesn't have a side deck yet but those cards are more suited for a side deck. If you take them out you can still play around your opponents stuff.
I started temporarily running Royal Decree when I had 4 back-to-back Eldlich matches, just out of spite, and those nerds definitely scoop right away if you hit em with it lol
Ancient Gears are a surprisingly good matchup against Eldlich (unless they open Imperial Order obv). Howitzer is immune to effects and can float, Chaos Giant is immune to all spells and traps and the deck comes with backrow hate like Reactor Dragon.

I am addicted to this game too. I know how brick eyes deck is. And how many times have I modified the deck by the meta just learning how to use the meta it's overwhelming but my highest for months was Gold Rank but one season I went to Diamond rank 3 then I am stuck at Gold Rank after the 2 drop downs from Platinum and then after that stuck at gold.
I love Elemental Heroes. Massive 1TK potential, but also very versatile. Heroes have always been my go to.

rhyme is a blue eyes monster that is unaffected by card effect called blue eyes alternative ultimate dragon and if you summon it with blue eyes alternative dragon you can destroy 3 cards, but you can't attack the turn you activate that effect
Rhyme, You might want to get Relinquished anima just in case you brick with so much tuners in your hand. Just read the effect of that card, it's flexible and good for decks with level 1 tuners. Good video btw, I run blue eyes too so I always watch your vid lol! Good luck on your way to plat!

I play link monster a lot so I’ll explain.
First when a link monster summon it have two effect a summon effect and action effect.
The action effect is a effect you active on it.
Second is that if you summon a another link monster you have a another in the field it call a co link and it summon can do it twice or once if you play the right card.
Third and last is call a link lock it stop your play if you make play a good card and your combo is stop
I like to run the unique number 59 beat down basically cards that when used as Xyz material they increase the attack points as opposed to running Final Countdown or Exodia pieces
I've been running traptrix since day one, I'm now trying to build a galaxy eyes deck and possibly a slifer deck.
I run a Cubic Deck right now. Although it's not that great, I enjoy just messing with my opponents using the Vijam seed and the cubic lord. I even made one opponent got their 5 monsters on the field negated of effects and also cannot attack and he just surrendered. It might be a little toxic but it's pretty fun when I pull it out.
I'm in platinum with Junk Doppel but you are right it's Eldrich, Strikers, Prankids, Traptricks, Ritual Fairies, that Beast link deck and Dragonmaids up here.
fairly decent build but... recent winner was running mausoleum / sage combos... this deck appears to be a direct copy off of the boards that have been brewing them (specifically a heavy german brewed deck relying on Maxx "C" and Skill Drain.
