That's right but I mainly consider them as farming vehicles first and recovery or cargo hauler later and For farming stuff new tractors are better....Also there're so many new vehicles with fuel & repair stuff which can do well on Amur ice as well like FEMM, Burlak, etc
The Earthroamer has a very weak acceleration,it cant even climb a slight hill on 1st gear from stop,I wonder what causes the axle freeze if its not the weak engine
Axle freeze happens because of traction, when there's a lot of traction, It stop truck from moving...you can notice such freezes on powerful vehicles like Tayga as well.
To add on to SD1ONE's statement, depending on the terrain you're experience axle freeze on, try switching to a "worse" type of tire for that terrain. The tires may lose traction and get your drivetrain moving and break past the axle freeze.
It's due to low power-to-weight and scout gearboxes. SnowRunner gearbox has too much of angular velocity for 1st gear, and the Freeway - for the reverse.
Sucks that you need the logging crane to install the counterweight on the Ankatra, I also would have liked the addition of front counterweights to the old tractors as that one farming trailer always lifts the front so you can't steer

I believe part of the Futom's problem is that the tires don't have their natural dampening tire squish effect like mudrunner did with the K-700. The 700 also has the multi joint articulated steering though which is much better for uneven terrain. Despite this downfall, I think it's fair to say that we're talking about a tractor that has no suspension (this is why most tractors have air seats to dampen bumps), is relegated to relatively level fieldwork that rarely goes above 10 mph (16 kph) and averages from 5-7 mph, and self smooths and levels uneven or rocky field terrain with it's immense weight (this is likely another fairly large factor). They are built for smooth, gently sloping terrain, not quickly changing, bumpy terrain.
Now that I think about it, the natural tire squish sounds almost like the reason why trucks feel bouncier than they should. Perhaps that is or at least is part of the problem
@@Gracefulwarrior2124 You know I compared all these things like frame to frame with Mudrunner and the overall conclusion is that most of such small details are present in SR but fast paced gameplay of SR is the reason why we don't notice such details in first place....Again some small details are simply missing in SR as well

So people complain about wanting more capable scouts and better tractors. They provide both and everyone is still complaining. I'm having a blast with the new scouts(still looking for the tractors). And will most likely use these as my preferred scouts and tractors moving forward.
Imagine this radar on a Hummer H1 or some other military vehicle which would've actually fit well in game...Yes those campers are good vehicles for scout but I still think we don't need 2 of them. Didn’t really notice that the two scouts are bigger than the tractors (although it’s all just because of the camper bodies)
Futom is widest vehicle along with K7M but Ankatra might be smaller than Earthroamers in terms of overall volume.
How many more scouts are we gonna get before we get ONE decent 6×6 or larger?
Seeing Futom passing the bumps make me realize how bad the game physics are in hard terrain conditions...
Yes, I can bet that same tractor would've taken bumps better in Mudrunner...the feeling of weight is just not as real feeling
@@Gracefulwarrior2124 You know I compared all these things like frame to frame with Mudrunner and the overall conclusion is that most of such small details are present in SR but fast paced gameplay of SR is the reason why we don't notice such details in first place....Again some small details are simply missing in SR as well
@@Gracefulwarrior2124 for sure, that and the lack of suspension travel
can someone explain how the switchable diff is a nerf, wouldnt that be better for more flexibility
I don't think it would make a significant difference in turning radius but it will affect auto & high gear performance for sure.
@@SD1ONE ty for the response dude
The tractor it likes claas xerion😮
Do the new tractors take 10 acres to turn around as well?
Futom would take like 7 acres but Ankatra has normal turning.
One should be a pickup variant.
Season 15 snowrunner when will going to release ❤❤
Finally tractors without articulation
What is the name of the map that you used in the video?
It’s a private map, only people like him that have the files to the map can use it.
this game has changed a lot since the day one
Немає часточок бруду та бризків з під коліс, і машини майже не забруднюються. Після оновлення все пропало 😡
Y el agua también. Han quitado la animación. Han roto el juego otra vez. 😪
I like tractors because they’re not articulate steering. Those are just hard for me to control. The two RVs I wish they could’ve got the right to just make them trucks and the RV bodies could’ve been frame add-ons
I agree with your point but It can't happen because those RVs are licenced and it's they're not Earthromers without the RV part.
Could I ask, why isn’t the aramatsu forester the main rival for the ankatra?
Because they are totally different vehicles
@@Angelthewolf but they look similar :(
Nah, Forester is good at one thing logging and It does that best, Ankatra is very different from Forester...I don't know if they give new logging trailer to forester or not but If it has those trailer, It would be perfect logging vehicle.
this axle freeze issue is becoming far too common and annoying among the later vehicles starting from kenny 963, devs are doing something wrong and/or they are getting lazy
These vehicles are kinda lame in my opinion, what happened to the oldschool heavy duty trucks that snowrunner was known for?
we have been given a ton of them i'm happy to see something a bit different
What the heck are you talking about? The game is still full of them just because as they add different things that are newer doesn’t mean they take away from the old ones that existed.
@@lawnmowerdude Newer things is alright but Are they really that much useful...a heavy duty truck or offroad truck can do mulitple tasks on multiple maps while these tractors are only good for farming which is only avaialble in 2 regions so far...also you've to unlock them first...Earthroamers are good but both look & drive almost same....Radar on Earthroamer is nice but I would like to see such radar fucntionality on some military vehicle like Hummer H1 or Oshkosh JLTV.
If I were the licenser, I would be bothered by a nerf to my vehicles...
But If you're a licencer from Russia, You can't do anything about it because of obvious reason.
Ngl. Them adding 2 scouts and 2 tractors feels like a joke. I'm not saying it's bad or anything.
But it feels like a joke made by the devs
So people complain about wanting more capable scouts and better tractors. They provide both and everyone is still complaining. I'm having a blast with the new scouts(still looking for the tractors). And will most likely use these as my preferred scouts and tractors moving forward.
Imagine this radar on a Hummer H1 or some other military vehicle which would've actually fit well in game...Yes those campers are good vehicles for scout but I still think we don't need 2 of them. They might've took a lot of development time which could've been spend on better things like more unique addons for trucks or new trailers...things that might actually come handy.

How is removing permanent diff a nerf?
well, using it now can damage something if used in harden roads and no difficulties (they start green and slowly climb to red to then give damage if Diff lock is used in a swichable)
How it's not a nerf.
@@claudetheclaudeqc6600
Dont know what you're talking about green and red.
Switchable allows you to switch it on and off, best of both worlds! Turning radius is improved massively! It's more realistic!
It does not cause more damage to your vehicles, thats just your bad driving.
@@SD1ONE
It makes the vehicle more maneuverable, turning radius is improved and it still allows you to switch it on.
@@MattiAntsuK it happens if the diff lock is stayed on in a controlable one in specific places (like a tarmac road)
Does anyone know when the update comes out for switch?
What about 1st season for Expeditions? There's brand new Step Albatross 6x6 truck and cool rock crawler Shiba Earthroamer scout.
The question is for how long Expeditions will receive updates, because most scouts that are currently being added to SR were originally planned for Expeditions but were then instead put in SR because it has more popularity
I don't think Expeditions would recieve a seaon 2 honestly...they've new game coming called RoadCraft and if it did good...things will get even harder for Expeditions.
I bet Saber is saving the pickup variants of the Earthroamers for Roadworks. They would make nice dump trucks & utility/bucket trucks
@@bullfrog8465 There are still scouts in RC, but I don't really think there will be any intermediary vehicles like what you've suggested. The Chevrolet Kodiak C70 seems like the very smallest they may go with, especially since the game is more focused on fixing the whole world you're in.
Who knows tho. It's a new game and we all could be pleasently surprised from what comes of it
When devs nerf truck you like
Can't wait to try buy this 😮
I'm disappointed with the latest DLC. 😞 It only includes two new scouts with RV attachments and two unbranded tractors. The engine sounds in the game have been getting worse with each DLC. The little tractor sounds like a washing machine or a leaf blower. I was hoping for new trucks and better engine sounds.
Still No Unimog, No man kat, No Mercy arocs and they fucking non licenced a claas xerion. How couldnt they get a licenced for the xerion Like what?
we didn't need the Earthroamers and their introduction has messed up radar mods but the two tractors are nice and at least they turn in less radius than an ocean liner.
Man, A lot of people are saying that radar mods are messed up now....I hope modders update their mods otherwise it would be sad because some of those radar vehicles are awesome....much more better animations & 3D model than Earthroamer radar.
@@SD1ONE I just liked using the bobblehead radar mod because I could equip it to any vehicle and didn't have to carry that stupid trailer around, the modder said he's looking for a fix.
Radar on the ps5 is messed up, even the in game tow behind trailer.
6:02 interesting fact, all of those trucks are fords
No the blue earthroamer is a Chevy 5500
@@BurnemRacing oh I thought it was a Ford F7 50
The radar is not working, is it just me?

@@SD1ONE Is the mod vehicle radar also working?
@@vlsmlrsd2754 mod vehicle? haven't tried mods...I was talking about earthroamer radar.
Not working on ps5
6:37 thanks to its half-working radar, or it's useless compare to f750.
I think it drives better than F750 specially on mud but yes radar is huge selling point.
@@SD1ONE Half working. Maybe good when trailer dealer not available.
maybe you should buy a microphone for voiceover ?
No we DONT. Earthroamers - my Lawn tractor is Faster. Tractors have enough.
Why is any in game vehicle nerfed when there is a Mod menu to get vehicles that are very OP?
I really like the maps but the new trucks are doodoo!
They been learning from R* only drop vehicles that there is no really need for such type .
Worst update we've had so far in terms of trucks.
They all suck
No, you suck
No.
Yes.
