PSA is like the Apple of grading companies.
Wow, I’m glad I saw this video. I was on the fence about going to PSA for multiple reasons, turnaround time, pricing, cutting corners and this is enough proof for me. Personally going the SGC route for their slabs. Thanks for the info man 🙌

I've been grading cards lately with AGS! What are you thoughts on them?
Whoa don’t. Look up AGS grading on RUclips. One guy breaks it down how they are a total scam, and not just with grading cards.
I have several cards graded by them
They look kewl but the market has decided they are worthless

This makes me so much more confident in choosing Beckett to grade my Firework Charizard
I have only graded with one card company and it was PSA. I have seen so many videos of psa and cgc making errors and mistakes. Beckett seems to have the best reputation but if your card is not perfect in the 4 categories, you won’t get the 10. It’s all craziness. Great content as always.
Do we know for sure that they weren't altered between PSA and Beckett? like do we have photos of the cards in PSA slabs?
It would be kind of pointless and stupid for somebody to make a post on Facebook lying about all of that, and making it up

Just looked up the cert on the PSA app. It still comes up but you can only see so much zooming in.

honestly, this kinda should be a bash on PSA. This just shows that PSA is all about quantity over quality. It happens far too often for a multi million dollar company that is supposed to be top tier in the grading world. SMH PSA SMDH
Agreed, but I’m more trying to just report on things rather than tear something down.
They are all paid minimum wage to grade at best it looks like
AFAIK they are paid around 22 to 26 per hour to start
So they make 20/hr. So about 32k/year after taxes, maybe less to be trusted to grade the most valuable cards in the world.

It could also be a miscommunication on PSA’s end. The grading could’ve been that low because the card was altered and they just didn’t say anything? I don’t know I’ve always been a PSA guy, but that’s still pretty wild that this is being brought to light.
If they are altered they aren't supposed to be graded at all. They should have been sent back just like beckett did

False, PSA rejects cards for being altered as well. This is just another one of the many reason PSA will always just be a roll of the dice.
Raw all the way … I buy the card not the grade!! Ive never been a PSA fan way to much hype for so much inconsistency! But people do what ya do I’m very happy with my Raw Card collection and Grails.
Time to send it into cgc to get that 10, Lord knows they'll grade anything at this point. Just asked Sean Bassik to send it in for you. 😂😂😂

This is crazy. Sure, as a consumer I agree to be extra careful and look at the card when purchasing graded cards but that's the reason for paying for that service, no? . It's a certification, they are experts, they should be held responsible otherwise it's jibberish. If PSA isn't willing to improve their standards, customers should by not using their service

All grading companies make mistakes. Raw cards are way to go.
Hate to see altered cards like that get graded and then end up in a loss…
I will say towards the end of your video you mention PSA grading more leniently; I’d have to disagree with that as of late. I sent in cards in December and the grades were abysmally low for truly pristine cards.

You can't trust anything anymore 😆. I saw this same post this morning. Not a good luck for PSA and I feel bad for whoever sent these cards in, only if they really didn't know they were changed. Shame on whoever altered these beautiful cards

I always thought PSA grades way to many cards they just push them through to make money. Beckett will be on top one day hopefully

I personally think beckett is king .. they been doing it longest, and let's be honest u see way less issues with them however I don't agree with grading fully I get it, I just don't get taking another human word for it.. what's the scale that they use and why do I see issues happen inside and outside of that scale..

BGS will send back pack fresh cards saying this have been altered, even pokerev ran into this issue on his BGS return. Trash company.
