Hey Danny just FYI the lack of perfect 10s from CGC goes without saying here, because they were retired before the English release of the set. Only Japanese 151 had a perfect 10 window. Love you bud.

I wonder if anyone thought of purchasing gem mint 10s and regrading them with PSA to get a higher valued gem mint 10 with PSA. I graded my first big pull out of Pokémon cards and my Charizard SIR came back as a gem mint 10🎉🎉🎉.
First allow me to say that you are a king among men Danny! Bless you for always caring and doing what you can to help the community! You are amazing! CGC has the lower value because they are no longer reputable and it's only going to get worse as more shady business practice information comes out ( like tipping off people pre 9.5 becoming 10's). PSA sadly is just so well known and recognized that they command a higher dollar value. I say sadly as the group I'm in has had many horrific experiences with them from them damaging multiple cards to incompetent graders. Something they graded for a group member was graded as a 7 and it was cracked and subbed to BGS and received a 10. PSA is trash. BGS is just too expensive and only desired for their black labels. AGS would actually be my favourite but grading with them even if you get 10's adds next to nothing in value over raw and certainly not enough to cover the grading fees. Sad as they are probably the best grading company by far but will likely go out of business. Thanks for the great info as always!
Personally i dont do stuff with graded cards, just expensive and people always want PSA for the brand name and its kinda hard to grade from where im from. I'll just keep buying sealed and cards I like 😊
So what’s your thoughts on the 2 new Japanese sets coming in January? Wild Force and Cyber Judge. I ask cause I found an insane deal on preorder. Got a case of booster boxes of each for $40 a box ($400 per case). You think this was a bad investment?
Ever since I found out PSA deliberately downgrade some cards to protect their populations I've had issues with them. I get they're the more "sought after" but in terms of business practices I'm not about it. Doesn't help I've seen a couple of badly damaged cards come back from them which were mint when they were shipped to them...
Not a viable strategy. You have to pay PSA for grading, and wait months to get your card back. Between the cost of grading, the shipping costs, and the cards fluctuating in value over the months it takes to get it back, you have no idea if you'll profit or not. On top of that, a CGC 10 might not be a PSA 10. Alot of people experience PSA giving weird grading. They'll grade some cards a 10 that aren't 10s, and some cards 8-9 that are clearly 10s.
Hey bro loved just loved chilling watching this content. I still haven't graded anything yet I'm getting a small bundle together over time so I can do them all at once to save some coin! Can't wait to see what happens when I send them off . I might take you suggestion and try the three big companies first.
PSA is definitely the more popular grading company which is why their value is so much higher. However I like that CGC is trying to separate themselves with the pristine label. Regardless pop control in the PSA market is what upsets me. I see them grading some cards a 10 that should be an 8-9 and grading some a 9 that should be a 10. Human error with grading is real, but I think PSA does show favoritism to those who send in a lot of cards. BGS is by far the worst when it comes to pop control and favoritism.

You should compare quality of the slabs between them and SGC and ucz slabs
Let’s gooo!!! Missed my chance to get your latest packs sold out SO FAST!!!
Loving that intro clip & improving the production value!
Personally i dont do stuff with graded cards, just expensive and people always want PSA for the brand name and its kinda hard to grade from where im from. I'll just keep buying sealed and cards I like 😊
I thought this was obvious which company gave the most value but this is why I love Danny, he appeals to newer people in the hobby as well!
Also I believe CGC got rid of their Perfect 10's when they made the change to having the Pristine 10 label.
Appreciate you giving back to the community!
I don’t think CGC does perfect 10’s anymore highest is pristine
I think I will only ever go for PSA unless I think I have a perfect 10 for the Black Label.
So what’s your thoughts on the 2 new Japanese sets coming in January? Wild Force and Cyber Judge. I ask cause I found an insane deal on preorder. Got a case of booster boxes of each for $40 a box ($400 per case). You think this was a bad investment?
My son and I have never graded a card before but would like to in the future. This is really helpful information. Thank you!
Series Idea: CGC vs PSA by set. Brilliant content, Danny. ty!
I have yet to submit cards for grading cause I’m skeptical about it lol
Extremely admirable for your help for unfortunate people. Bless you
I’ve been thinking about using CGC haven’t been able to pull the trigger yet.
That venusaur ex $190.50 was my listing 😊. Nice
Loving the CGC hate.
Better cheaper slabs for me ❤️
Crazy comparisons
stings a bit seeing the value of my collection go down but its also nice as i can buy singles im missing, not sure how to feel lmao
I personally don’t grade often but I do like the look of the black and gold pristine Cgc
Ever since I found out PSA deliberately downgrade some cards to protect their populations I've had issues with them. I get they're the more "sought after" but in terms of business practices I'm not about it. Doesn't help I've seen a couple of badly damaged cards come back from them which were mint when they were shipped to them...
great timing for the video. Looking to get some of my cards graded and wondering which company to go with.
It would be interesting to know the percentage of 10s of all cards graded
Started collecting psa slabs this year, good to be back in the hobby since 151 came out
This should be a good video. Always interested to see which grading company everyone likes to use any why.
Not into grading. Here in the UK ACE grading are building a positive rep
If it is like this, is it possible to buy CGC 10 and crack it open, submit it to PSA to get 10, and then resell it? Repeat, and profit?
Not a viable strategy. You have to pay PSA for grading, and wait months to get your card back. Between the cost of grading, the shipping costs, and the cards fluctuating in value over the months it takes to get it back, you have no idea if you'll profit or not. On top of that, a CGC 10 might not be a PSA 10. Alot of people experience PSA giving weird grading. They'll grade some cards a 10 that aren't 10s, and some cards 8-9 that are clearly 10s.
Hope you had a great Christmas celebration! Thank you for you generosity
Very interesting. Never thought about the difference.
Hey bro loved just loved chilling watching this content. I still haven't graded anything yet I'm getting a small bundle together over time so I can do them all at once to save some coin! Can't wait to see what happens when I send them off . I might take you suggestion and try the three big companies first.
Never had a card graded but im considering getting a girantina v graded from crown zenith, these kinds of videos are great for my needs
Just got a sub back from PSA where i sent back a psa 6 charizard vmax from Darkness Ablaze that i broke out. It came back a 10 this time😂
I only buy PSA 10 and nothing else personally and if i grade anything that comes back sub 10 is sold to get more 10s 🤷🏻♂️
Perfect timing , I was just wondering about getting some cards graded 🤝
Your amazing guy man love your insite on everything and keeping the community aware of everything it's amazing to see thank you so much 😊
I use sgc i like the cases and they will have continued growth. I like having my cards back in 3 days instead of 30
PSA is definitely the more popular grading company which is why their value is so much higher.
Wow, should i just buy cgc 10s and crack them and send to psa?
I'm glad you made this video bcs i was debating who to grade with
So I am sending my first cards out to grading this week great vidoe
I just got a cgc 10 on my golden charizard from obsidian flames just a few days ago
