I'm a beneficiary of Mr Nxasana & Mrs Gobodo's legacies. SizweNtsabluba Gobodo gave me my first shot of being an HR professional. I was rejected by so many companies to do my training. Today I'm a seasoned HR Professional with experience from multiple sectors. SNG created so many black professionals, my former colleagues are now directors, CEO's CFO and head of departments in many other companies.
Henry, I was thinking of that exact moment Bab Nxasana will always be my role model We learned a lot from him as our executive Humble, respectful, knowing us individually that's remarkable ❤
Mr Nxasana is one of the men that kids should be celebrating in schools, more than sports stars and musicians. He's a business heavyweight, he's a grounded family man & extremely passionate about uplifting Africans & building institutions that benefit all ordinary South Africans, from all backgrounds.
He acknowledged that BBBEE has been more advantageous to him than any other opportunity. In contrast, athletes and musicians in South Africa toil tirelessly yet receive far less recognition
@@mavestamavesto lol those are entertainers and will only be recognised if they are actually entertaining, there's not much government can do if you are not entertaining. But out of curiosity, what exactly would you expect the government to do for a wana be fakaza rapper or 5th fastest sprinter in SA?😂
Thanks to you and your team Penuel for bringing such inspiring Africans to your platform. It is everyone’s responsibility to apply the principles this man has taught in our daily lives.
You are so spot on... Unfortunately such minds are never mentioned to inspire students. Responsibility lies with parents to teach them about such Black Brains to use as their benchmark....Pan African History will never be taught in schools...let's teach them
While i was a uber black driver had the privilege to meet Mr Sizwe countless times. Honestly he gave me alot of advice, which i really appreciate. This is a gentleman and is very humble.
Pen you held it down like the genius you are. It is for a reason that a person of Mr Nxasana's stature and influence agreed to have a sit down with you. What a human❤. We love him and wish him more life to continue making a great impact in the lives of an African child.
I admire Mr Nxasana not solely because of his achievements but he plants a seed wherever he goes and always touches lives beyond his own imagination. This is a true definition of a nation builder, I would like to meet him in person one day and I hope I am one of the people to uphold his legacy and what he intends to accomplish.
The biggest thank you to Penuel and his wonderful team for hosting our CEO and African Giant, Sizwe Nxasana! When I get home from work, I am making popcorn and watching the episode like I wasn't there witnessing this greatness🤭
I love listening to people who are serious. There are many unserious people talking about decolonising Africa but doing nothing about it. Ntate Nxasana is serious about it. I love his courage and seriousness.
A fantastic man who does amazing things. Got a chance to meet him at Future Nation School open day and him articulating the vision and the purpose of the school was amazing.
Samthandi Thixo lo Tata ❤😍😫 strong black and well of wisdom 😍😍😍😍 These are the kind of leaders we want to mirror and emulate as black kids in SA. This is giving me goosebumps 😮
I wish you could also have had a chance to meet and have a conversation with ubab' Thami Nxasana, his older brother, he sadly passed a few years ago but my God what a man, what a mind. More degrees and phd's than I care to count. Always put the African first, actually, the most pro African policies in South African politics were drafted by him.
Penuel, thank you for a great discussion with one of the best examples of black excellence. Education is such an important part of the growth of a nation. Look at Singapore as an example. I also enjoyed that he just like myself, is an advocate for mother tongue medium of instruction.
Finally someone who is investing in his own people. Black people must build their own prestigious schools instead of introducing Bills which are meant to interfere with privately owned Afrikaner schools. ANC is so pathetic.
Man with great vision change the world 🌍. Bab Sizwe is one of those Man who possesses such a vision. A hard-worker, disciplined Man. I am truly inspired 👌🏾…
He said "I don't have to be told or her to teach me about things, I just know that they are covered" I think is that's powerful when looking at starting a family
Bab Nxasana and Dr Judy Dlamini are easily some of my favourite South Africans, of all time. Penuel, this has to be one of your best, if not theeee best, work you have ever done…Amazing bra 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
Thank you, Mr Nxasana for your incredible insights and inspiration. Your work and perspective on education have been a huge motivation for me and my 16 year old daughter as we're working on multipple innovative and cfreative projects. This interview has given us fresh energy.
Golden nuggets from uBaba Sizwe. It is so true about the Maths factor, i was a remedial case because had a slow understanding in the subject, ended up doing accounting in matric. Thank You so much, I am validated today.
We thank you Penuel for inviting Ntate Nxasana. He has so much to offer. We need to create learning and working environment cultures that we can easily relate to. The Arabs have done it and it worked for them.
The foundation has been laid for us, but we lack the intentionality to build systems and value chains that are designed for African identity to thrive. I seriously fail to understand why we continue to fight to participate in institutions that have systems that were not designed for our identity to thrive. We dont need more resources, we need to change our minds about what the problem is.
Awesome guest! Great interview! Sizwe needs to be learned from, what an awesome chap. I listen and try harder to make SA better for all of us...the little I can do😌
Thank you, Sizwe Nxasana is the most important type of operational activist. With a desire for advancement must come work towards advancement. A progressive man never knows the peace of not working because he is connected to the frequency that resonates in all sentient life that many call God. Being tapped into that frequency, let's call it the Schuman wave for lay purposes gives a man purpose that matriculates as society requires him to provide. It only takes half a dozen such men to collaborate in order to change the world. This was a heartfelt and encouraging episode : Operational Activism
Amazing to learned that father donated kidney to his son. How wonderful was that. Thank you Mkhiwa for giving Skhonza another 6 years of life. I am a Nxasana myself. Growing up in Qumbu and knowing his grandfather was in fact born in Qumbu and move to Xobo make me proud. You inspire me everyday
Wow, Mama Bakery is indeed still open, drove pass there last week, abit of nostalgia, the were days where I used to take a train to school in the early 2000's instead of a bus so id have enough money to buy donuts there, conveniently the bakery is located right next to the train station, Umlazi Station.

This man deserves an honorary PhD degree in Philosophy. Where are universities in south Africa to honor him if he hasn't been honored already? We need to read and study about such philosophical ideas and logic of such great man and women such as him
Great idea In 2004 his Almar Matar, the University of Fort Hare, awarded him an honorary doctorate in Commerce. Another institution should take your advice. 👏
I love topic about schools, I have my own ideas, but that's a story for another day... Please post links for some of the good schools our kids can apply to that will build them and so forth...

What a great man, I would love to meet this man. So much wisdom. His path and growth resemble mine immensely. I believe we share the sentiments towards life. 1st time, I'm relating to a business of his caliber on a human level.

Massive respect for uBaba, I’ve had the opportunity to share space with him while I was a University student, 2 years later I bumped into him going about his business in a mall and disturbed his peace and had a short conversation with him, fast forward 2022 April we’re sitting at a restaurant, he’s with his wife, went across, said hi to them left. Quick one Penuel, S.G of the SACP Mr Solly Afrika Mapaila, should we anticipate a sit down with him one day? Would be lovely to hear you pick his brain on a couple of matters from the past, current and the future (politically and economically) as these can’t be separated 👍🏿
I couldn't agree more with you Penuel... these are unsung SA heroes who are making a significant contribution in this country out of love. They are making more contribution than the politicians. There are times where I wish they were the CEOs to manage our country. SA is blessed with such minds zabo Bab Nxasama, Mam Nxasama, we have so many of these genius & visionary submarines. The likes of, Judge Sandile Ngcobo, the current RAF CEO to name just a few. Thank you Penuel for reminding us that despite the anxiety we are carrying about the future of Mzansi (as is now), we can divert our focus on such minds...Yes, Nkwame Nkruma , what a resemblance.! Our education system would be in a better shape if we had such minds at the helm.

A critical point you are mentioning here, parents force their kids into a culture that they know very well is hostile, and cry racism the next day.
