The Jeep Gladiator and new Dakota will share the same platform. The gladiator WILL survive and sales Will soar when they install a 5.7 or 6.4 Hemi in it!!!
I special ordered a new 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and loved it. Never any issues. This past year we decided it just took to much room in the garage in our newly built home. We decided to buy a 4dr. Jeep Rubicon and found just built special ordered RubiconX and got a great a excellent trade as I kept it looking new and was always garage kept. We got great financing and drove it home that night. Two days later our Gladiator was sold. We miss it but later found it went to a great home and the young couple love it!!!
I can't see them putting the Hurricane or 6.4 Hemi in this. There are reports of a new Dakota coming and I'm betting that it will also have the 3.6 V6.
Great review! We own 3 Gladiators in our family and I couldn’t agree more. Hubs and I would pay for the Hemi/ Hurricane easy! And the kids can afford a little less but still have one too. We LOVE our Gladiators.
like it but the 138" wheel base just to long and the 5' box not very useful needs to be 6' , we like 4runners 109" wb and 6' cargo bay with the seats folded down
Ben. Your idea was pure genius. 2 different gladiators. 1 with solid axles, v8, and convertible. 1 with independent front and non convertible at a much, much lower price. People NEED a much lower price to make ends meet. But many think no more affordable vehicles will be ever made by anyone
A Gladiator Willys, Rubi, or Mojave with the XTR package and the Hurricane motor would be the mid size truck to get. A Gladi Willys with the XTR and Hurricane motor would be under $60k what's going compete with it?
Jeep gladiator will survive. Jeep needs to stop treating it like a step child. Put a new good diesel engine along with other engine power options.New colors like bikini and keep prices reasonable and boom!!
JEEP missed the target with the Carlos Tavares prices. 46k for a base model!? My guy that’s a 34k vehicle since all the tech, r&d, tooling having been paid off 10yrs ago when development and production was scheduled for the 2017/18 launch. Drop 10k off price and you have a fire sale
My 2024 Gladiator was a lemon. After a month in the shop where Stellantis had ZERO clue how to fix it, my dealer stepped up and bought it back and dealt with Stellantis so I could get a decent rig and be done with the clown show of Stellantis. I understand mechanical things can fail, that is not what pissed me off. What pissed me off is the fact that Stellantis had ZERO sense of urgency to solve the problem. And, to add insult to injury, I added it up yesterday .......... I have purchased 24 Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis vehicles since 2006.....I was extremely brand loyal and they were NOT loyal to me when I needed their help. Done with the brand until some significant changes are made.
Big mistake is having brand loyalty as brands have no loyalty to their customers. Just go with the best vehicle that suits your needs regardless of the brand. I learned that lesson..thanks Ford.
@@Blue-moon12 No argument from me. During FCA ownership we had great performance and reliability from our Ram, Jeep, and Dodge products - that all fell apart sometime just after COVID.
I made the same mistake with Ford. I bought four new expensive Fords in 10 years and learned the same lesson after the Expedition spent six weeks at the shop and nobody had even looked at it. I left Ford and now have a new Nighthawk Gladiator and am loving it.
@@Xandil Glad you like your Gladiator. I was in the market for a midsize but didn't want a turbo, Gladiator was on the list but opted for a 2023 Frontier Pro 4x.
Good review and agree...so much potential with the Gladiator...funny how the price is elevated but the interior is the same as my 2019 Rubicon...you figure that costs would go down over time with process improvements to the line...wishful thinking I guess. Gladiator could be #1 in the segment but right now fall 4th or 5th TBH
@brucesheehe6305 Yep. No removable top or doors. A real truck. Natural aspiration straight six. 4 different trims. Start with a clean slate....and build quality into it from the ground up.
This his the engine it should have! Naturally aspirated and reliable.
2020 built 12/19 89k its never seen a dealer doesn’t eat oil doesn’t leak still has oem batteries it’s been a great little truck
6.4 Hemi in a Gladiator seems a little much

Jeep should make a full-size truck. They already have the platform with the Ram 1500.
v6 nat aspirated
I'll get one ,you can keep the straight six and V8 for the ones that want them .
Build a 2-door with closed cab and 6.5 foot bed, shorter wheelbase. Something to camp in.

Love it, I hope they keep making these
Needs 33" tires as standard, and offer 5.7 hemi!!!

How come the reverse camera does not show across the whole screen? I just noticed that.

392 option 🇺🇲💪✌️

I'd be interested in seeing a Rubicon X review
Hey Ben Hardy how’s the reliability of the jeep gladiator and is there any issues/ repair cost if any?
V6 is pretty solid and jeeps can handle pretty high mileage
2025 Jeep Gladiator JT Sport S Crew Cab 4X4 4-Door Convertible Truck!
4xe?
The jeep gladiator looks good for a truck
Halogen headlights?😂😂😂
As usual this is a 30,000$ then discounts
way overpriced
Still running the weak 3.6 what a joke!
They should discontinue the Gladiator and produce a class leading mid sized "non Jeep" truck under the Ram logo
Ram Dakota

I always thought the Jeep Gladiator was an impractical dumb concept but that's just me.
Why? Just curious. It offers exactly what other mid size trucks offer, except more offroad-ish.
Jeep in a niche market and theyre selling alot of them because of it!!
The question should be: Will you survive from the Jeep Gladiator death wobble?
Other question: will a gladiator survive with the pentastar?
@@MikeHawkNBahlz My pentastar 2013 wrangler just passed 200k miles. It's a good engine for regular people.
Definitely will NEED the Tow Hooks 🪝 on a Chrysler Product
46 Grand is nasty work.
