“The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

Who gets to decide who is expert enough and reliable enough to decide the truth for the rest? I found his opinions outdated and his evidence lacking and biased.

I guess that's because he doesn't like being criticized on Wikipedia for his actions that led to the destruction of Libya a few years ago.. And so he must have experienced it first hand on the related Wikipedia articles. I wonder what he would prefer as an alternative..
That said, there was real value in his words. But this one point he should at least have expanded upon..

"Man must attach himself to an infinite reality, so that his glory, his joy, and his progress may be infinite. Only the spirit is real; everything else is as shadow. All bodies are disintegrated in the end; only reality subsists. All physical perfections come to an end; but the divine virtues are infinite." ~ Baha'i Faith Writings

Hey Google, I'm unfollowing your channel today. I wonder what message you're trying to send by inviting BHL. There are plenty of cutting edge thinkers in France and you pick one that has had a toxic influence on French society for a long time and whose "philosophy" doesn't match the standards of anyone slightly interested in actual philosophy. To me it means that you either don't care enough to check the people you invite or that for you he is an interesting voice in French philosophy either of these options would destroy the trust I had in your choices.

It’s okay to see different points of view, then you can find out what you specifically disagree with. A trouble of the echo chambers that social media has created is a lack of opposing ideologies.

Besides my miserable single life, this guy wrote a book named "The Virus in the Age of Madness" hitting the shelves this month. I found out his considerations quite intrigue in a interview and i think it will be interesting. I'll do a book review at my channell since the book is out tomorrow in Portugal hehe Stay tuned :)

Few would agree, perhaps, that Google's role, as necessary as it is, is either benign or altruistic. Also, which idiot decided to indulge the gourmands at this meeting with a meal AS Levy was speaking?!

Intellectual impsture, some of great french intellectuals has refuse to talk with him (bourdieu, deleuze) because he's considered as a marketing philosopher. That's why he's on the good place, in google. And then, he has a responsability in the lybian war
