About Israel’s singularity, I would add that there is a country, Liberia, that was formed 100 years ago under a very similar premise to Israel.
Having said I will say that Bernard always makes good points and is someone interesting to listen to.
It seems to me Bernard is the only option for Jews in terms of attitude and outlook
