I have a theory: Nala's father could be one member of Scar's guard. Maybe the keenest of sight. He is the most similar to the little lion cub on Rafiki's paintings. The fur is more or less like Kion's, the mane has got a brown color similar to red, and the eyes are green, similar to Nala's. It could explain why Nala's dad isn't in TLK, because Scar killed him, when he "destroyed" his guard. That's my theory. Do you like it? (Excuse me if I made some errors, I'm Italian. I don't speak English very well).

Ni, as Nala's dad, could be from a long time ago. it could be, but seeing him in the book, you see him as a teen. Nala is about 4 or 5 at the time. when Nala is born, Ni would be 10 - 12. it is most likely not Ni. but if u wanna believe that, I like it. :)

Scar is Muffasa's brother. Muffasa had Simba, who would be Nala's mate. Yeah..that wouldn't work. Also, in a deleted scene in the Lion King, Scar was going to ask Nala to be his queen. Obviously they would know that they were father and daughter, and couldn't be mates. So, Scar's a no no.

Nala’s father can’t be Mufasa or Scar. In the lion guard, when rafiki shows a picture of Nala’s father, he simply refers to him as “Nala’s father”. If it was mufasa, Rafiki probably would’ve said something like “That was king Mufasa when he was a cub” or something like that. But he didn’t. And as for Scar, if you look at the picture, the cub has red fur, which we all know he doesn’t have.
I think that Scar is Nala's father because of the way that he acts towards both Simba and Nala. Another reason is that Sarafina is her mother and my idea is that Sarafina and Scar were in love before Zira came along.
And also forgot to mention in the episode Paintings and predictions (lion guard) raknki show the guard a painting of Nala' s father as a cub, so it's not scar and Ni

I know the whole lion king backstory..and there is nothing proven for nala's father..we know sarabi is her uncle so Simba is her cousin..yes I have heard it could be leo..cause I thought that was a normal name compared to others lol xxx❤❤❤
If Nala's father was in The Lion King (1st film) he would have been a cream coloured lion with a brownish-red mane. And he would have just been a guard to Pride Rock. He would have been on Simba's side, and he wouldn't have put up with Scar's lies and treachery. And if there was a voice actor to voice Nala's father, it would have been Pierce Brosnan. Pierce Brosnan would have played a great role in the Lion King and he would have nailed Nala's father on cruise control.

I believe that Scar is both Nala’s father and Kovu’s father. Kovu got his face from Mufasa. That’s why he looks like Simba. Scar’s face appears in the water during the song Not One of Us.

I believe that Scar is both Nala’s father and Kovu’s father. Kovu got his face from Mufasa. That’s why he looks like Simba. Scar’s face appears in the water during the song Not One of Us.
