I have a theory: Nala's father could be one member of Scar's guard. Maybe the keenest of sight. He is the most similar to the little lion cub on Rafiki's paintings. The fur is more or less like Kion's, the mane has got a brown color similar to red, and the eyes are green, similar to Nala's. It could explain why Nala's dad isn't in TLK, because Scar killed him, when he "destroyed" his guard.
That's my theory. Do you like it?

Ni, as Nala's dad, could be from a long time ago. it could be, but seeing him in the book, you see him as a teen. Nala is about 4 or 5 at the time. when Nala is born, Ni would be 10 - 12. it is most likely not Ni. but if u wanna believe that, I like it. :)
I literally loath the theories about Nala being Mufasa's or Scar's daughter. Disney would never try to make a incestuous relationship between characters they would risk their career. It is also confirmed that Simba and Nala were actually half siblings only in the original script but then they cut it to avoid incest, so they're not blood relatives.
What if scar is her father then their cousins?
It wasn’t actually cut because in the interview, the directors say that it is either Mufasa or Scar. and then in the lion guard episode paintings and predictions, Nala’s father was finally acknowledged. It confirmed that Scar isn’t the father but gave more evidence that the father could be Mufasa
@@TheFaIIenOne that's your interpretation not a fact. Disney confirmed that was cut and that Nala's father is not native to the Pride Lands so he ain't Mufasa neither Scar. And even if the lion cub in the painting was Mufasa then Rafiki would mention his name but he didn't. So that was another lion. Disney would never make an incestous couple, that would make them risk the studios.
Who cares if they are relatives? They are fictional talking animals 😅

Scar made the most sense to me
Scar is Muffasa's brother. Muffasa had Simba, who would be Nala's mate. Yeah..that wouldn't work. Also, in a deleted scene in the Lion King, Scar was going to ask Nala to be his queen. Obviously they would know that they were father and daughter, and couldn't be mates. So, Scar's a no no.

Nala’s father can’t be Mufasa or Scar.
In the lion guard, when rafiki shows a picture of Nala’s father, he simply refers to him as “Nala’s father”. If it was mufasa, Rafiki probably would’ve said something like “That was king Mufasa when he was a cub” or something like that. But he didn’t.
And as for Scar, if you look at the picture, the cub has red fur, which we all know he doesn’t have.
I strongly believe that Ni is Nala’s father. The resemblance is too uncanny

I think that Scar is Nala's father because of the way that he acts towards both Simba and Nala. Another reason is that Sarafina is her mother and my idea is that Sarafina and Scar were in love before Zira came along.

And also forgot to mention in the episode Paintings and predictions (lion guard) raknki show the guard a painting of Nala' s father as a cub, so it's not scar and Ni

I THINK NALA’s FATHER IS ZENSOU
If Nala's father was in The Lion King (1st film) he would have been a cream coloured lion with a brownish-red mane. And he would have just been a guard to Pride Rock. He would have been on Simba's side, and he wouldn't have put up with Scar's lies and treachery. And if there was a voice actor to voice Nala's father, it would have been Pierce Brosnan. Pierce Brosnan would have played a great role in the Lion King and he would have nailed Nala's father on cruise control.
Idea: Why was Sarafina Absent after Scar let the Hyenas into the Pridelands?
My Theory: Call me crazy but The Skull in the Coconut song that Scar was playing with might be Sarafina's Skull or Nala's Father's Skull because According to cannedfrogs on reddit he said it was a lion's Skull.I Dunno just a theory

My theory is when mufasa and scar or taka was born they played with sarafina and sarabi they are sisters btw and scar thought sarafina was gonna have a boy when she was an adult lion so she wanted her and mufasa wanted sarabi but sarafina had a girl which was nala so in this theory scar is nalas dad but I'm not done yet. When scar realised that it was a girl he broke up with sarafina but she tried to get a new dad for nala as she asked for one and she found a few males but some males left and there were only 2. It was out of leo or ni and she picked ni a few months later sarafina had mheetu sarafina wanted nala to be queen but simba didn't rly see her anymore as she has a brother now. Thats the theory so nalas father is well I think scar

In my opinion Nala’s father is the lion cub who fell from a tree. I named him Kucheza. He died after Nala was born from an antelope attack and wounds from a fight with Scar over Sarafina
Here's my theory. Scar is nalas father I say this because 1, as u know scar and mufasa are brothers of we were to base this on real life when there is more than one Male in a pride oftentimes brothers they both have dominance over the lions in the first movie when all the lions are asleep u can see nala being the only other cub in the pride so scary could've had dominance over serafina. 2,scar was leader of the lion guard and as said in TLG nalas father was saved by the lion guard and is now kions grandpa. 3,again In real life a young Male is to be kicked out of the pride when it has came of age so to prevent inbreeding, if simba and nala were half siblings simba would have to go to the jungle anyway.

It’s very difficult to decide who nala’s father is. It can’t possibly be scar because in lion king 2 scar already has 3 kids and a wife (Zira). Mufasa is already married to Sarabi and it can’t be possible for him to have another wife. So idk??

And scince the might be cousins or half siblings it is perfectly fitting into the real World of a lion pride. If you look at it from a human persective it has been normal in old time to marry your cousin sometimes.

Mufasa is Nala’s father. It makes the most sense considering how the lion who was stated to be Nala’s father looks like Mufasa in terms of colors.
Its a bloody anthropromorphic (i probably spelled it wrong) i highly doubt its gonna be soooo accurate to how real lions live

((Please do not discriminate my opinion, as we ALL do not know the true answer. This is MY personal opinion.))
My theory: Nala's father is Scar. We all know Scar to be selfish, and how he rejects any cub who does not fit his standards ((like he did for Nuka.)). My headcanon is that Scar and Mufasa share the Pride equally and split the cubs into two. Scar has Kula, Chumvi, Nala, Mheetu, and Malka. Mufasa has Tojo, Simba, and Tama. So when Sarafina bore Scar's daughter Nala shortly after Sarabi bore Simba, Scar rejected her for being female and unfit for his standards ((at this time, he was still plotting to become King and betray Mufasa, so he needed an heir to succeed his throne.)). Hence why Nala's father is absent from the pride.
I think the theory about it being Ni could still be very true, but my question is why would he leave Sarafina and Nala? His own family? Wouldn't he want to stay with his Pride after being exiled from the last? And if Mufasa was involved because it wasn't pride appropriate to have cubs with a male who is not your mane, then why did he accept Malka as his adopted son? Why does he have Scar in his Pride?
I think the lion guard want to show because Disney itself said it in the series so it surely must be Cannon

Scar is uninvolved and leaves Sarafina to care for her daughter, Nala. This has to be it. I KNOW THE DELETED SCENE OF SCAR AND NALA, I KNOW. Scar has to be the father. Scar and Nala did not mate after the scene because Nala ran away to find Simba in the jungle. Mufasa is not the father. She would look way different and be a orange yellow color. Don't flood the replies with Mufasa theories. (I also know that she doesn't look like Scar, but it is highly likely considering the absence. There is a reason why they tweaked the story to not be incest and there is a reason why they did not make Kovu the real son of Scar, because they didn't want Nala to be related to Kovu and also Scar would breed with Sarafina to create a more better heir. (How Nuka was created.). Since she was sadly not a boy, Scar used her as a mate because he bred a handsome cub and he wanted to mate with her. The Scar's Guard theory is actually possible if Scar killed him because he mated with Zira at one point and Sarafina and that would prove that Scar loves Sarafina and furthermore proves he mated with her so he killed him out of jealousy. This is what I think. I don't care about what you all think.
