I love that this story redeems scar somewhat, it's beautiful to think of him as a loving lion, even if for a short time 🤗
Here's my version of Sarafina's story:
Chapter 1: The Grasslands
Sarafina was the secondborn daughter of King Kijani and Queen Leah of the Vagabonds. She spent the first two months of her life living happily with her pride in the Grasslands. One afternoon she, her older sister Sarabi and the rest of her family were hanging out near the hill where they lived. Suddenly a strange pride and hyena clan showed up and climbed the hill. The lion who stood on the hill introduced himself as Budangi, King of the Outlanders and his wife Azola. The hyena matriarch introduced herself as Mzizi. The rest of their pride and the forty hyena-warriors Mzizi brought with her stood on either side of the hill. King Kijani asked the vistors their purpose and Budangi revealed that he wanted to take over their land. Kijani's younger brother Seto challenged Budangi but Kijani intervened and tried to make peace. His efforts were in vain and Budangi gave the order to attack. Kijani ordered his pride to attack and the battle began. Sarafina and Sarabi watched from behind their mother's forelegs. There were seventeen lionesses in Budangi's pride compared to a dozen in the Vagabonds. That plus the forty hyenas led by Mzizi and the pride was quickly overwhelmed and slaughtered. Realizing what was happening King Kijani ordered his wife to run to the Pridelands and take the cubs. Queen Leah picked the two princesses by their scruffs and ran for her life. Budangi saw this and ordered his wife and seven other lionesses to chase after her. Mzizi also saw and ordered eight hyenas to chase her. They eventually caught up to them but Leah dropped the cubs and fought them off before continuing her desperate flight. They crossed through the Canyonlands and ran through the Backlands. By that point Leah had managed to lose her pursuers but she was mortally injured. She collapsed at the border of the Pridelands and told Sarabi and Sarafina to go to Pride Rock alone. Sarafina begged her mother to live but it was too late and a few moments later Queen Leah died.
Chapter 2: A New Start
After heading to Pride Rock they encountered Queen Uru. When Uru heard their story she happily took them in. She then introduced them to her two sons, Mufasa and Taka. Sarafina took an immediate liking to Taka and they were the same age. Time passed and the four of them grew up together. Sarafina saw how King Ahadi abused Taka physically and mentally. She tried to help him through his increasing depression and anxiety. She was horrified when Taka arrived in the den one evening covered in cuts,bruises and lacerations. He revealed that his father had brutally beaten him and left him to to die. Sarafina comforted him and was enraged at Ahadi, although she was too scared of the King to confront him. A week later Taka came home looking completely distraught. He hugged Sarafina and told her he loved her and that he couldn't believe what he nearly did. When a confused Sarafina asked what's wrong, Taka revealed that he'd tried to end his life by jumping off Makundu Cliffs. Sarafina was horrified and grief-stricken at the thought of losing Taka. She pulled him into her forelegs and they hugged and cried. A little while later Taka told her about some friends who lived in an Elephant Graveyard. After ditching Mufasa by singing "Just can't wait to be king" Taka took her to the Graveyard. He then introduced his hyena friends Shenzi, Banzai and Ed. Shenzi said that she had a suprise for Taka and ran off and came back with a flower. She placed it in front of Taka and explained how she snuck into the Pridelands earlier to get it. Sarafina realized what was going on and attacked Shenzi in a jealous rage. Taka broke up their fight and left the Graveyard with Sarafina. Time passed and Taka and Sarafina became teenagers and grew closer. One day she came back from hunting practice and King Ahadi revealed that Queen Uru had died in a hunting accident and that Taka was responsible for her death. He'd then banished him from the Pridelands as punishment for his crime. Sarafina firmly believed Taka was innocent and mourned her boyfriend's exile. Several months later Ahadi died of old age and Mufasa became King with Sarabi as his Queen. Mufasa's first act as King was to go to the Outlands and fetch his brother. Sarafina was delighted to have her boyfriend back. A week later they were hanging out togther when Shenzi, Banzai and Ed showed up and started harassing her. Taka repeatedly told them to back off but they wouldn't listen. Eventually Sarafina noticed dark clouds gathering behind him. A moment later, he unleashed a roar so loud and powerful that the ground vibrated and the hyenas were sent flying. At the same time she noticed the clouds turning into roaring lions and a strange mark appeared on his left shoulder. He asked her what it meant but she had no idea. They went to Rafiki and he explained about the Lion Guard. She reassured Taka that he was up for it and sadly watched as he left to recruit his Guard. He came back with his Guard and for the next several months she helped him with his Guard. Even when he accidentally Roared at her and injured her she never held a grudge. One day he came back from patrol with a scar over his left eye. She asked him what happened and he explained about his encounter with the Strange Lion. He also revealed that his name was now Scar. She asked Scar to describe the lion and realized that he was Budangi, her parents' murderer. She could see he was in pain from his scar and went to Mufasa, but the King found his little brother's ailment amusing and refused to listen to her concerns. A week later he showed up at Pride Rock minus his Guard and without the Mark. He told his brother and everyone else that the Guard were attacked by a very powerful foe and only he survived the fight. Without his Guard the Elders took away his Roar. Later he pulled Sarafina aside and made her swear on her life to never tell anyone what he was about to say. He then told the truth about how he'd destroyed his Guard with the Roar and subsequently lost it. Sarafina comforted him and said the Guard deserved their fate for how they'd treated him after he got his scar.

Nice story Askari it's real cool that you added Matuta as the male cub from the lion guard and that he was also running for his life like Sarafina and Sarabi I hope Mheetu finds Matuta and returns to Sarafina
If you have seen the lion guard you will know that nala's father fell from a tree and was saved by the lion guard as seen in the paintings which means matoota must be nala's father! So now that I watched this video it makes a million times more sense than all of the theories to who nala's father is

While I don't think Zira corrupted Scar, based on her backstory you've given her. I believe Scar's corruption came from within him based on his spite and hatred for Mufasa and neglect from his father. I believe Zira adored Scar as he was the only one who saw loyalty and greatness in her, but he did not love her and this is what frustrated Zira. Zira was blinded by her admiration for Scar that it affected her pride and family and all she wanted was to be noticed by him, yet all Scar wanted was greatness, power and fame as he thought he deserved. So Zira like a loyal companion, did whatever he requested, in trying to preserve his legacy by giving him a powerful heir to his throne and if by any chance Nuka is Scar's son, Scar treating his son the way he had been treated by Ahadi, ultimately could have been the reason Zira despises him, thinking he's useless or pathetic. So when Nuka's death came to claim him, only then did she realise that he was all that she had left of Scar and noticeably regrets her treatment of him.
