One of the best storylines introduced throughout The Lion Guard has got to be the love story that created Queen Rani and King Kion. Not only was it a story that freed Kion from his past and his concerns, but it also helped Rani grow into the type of lioness that her Pride needed. That being said, it’s admittedly hard not to wonder, what was so good about Kion and Rani’s relationship that made it one of Disney’s best love stories to this day?

I actually loved the Lion Guard. It answered so many questions, and expanded on the lore appropriately to the first and second movies.

No it didn't. Alot of it completely ruined the lore of the movies (like scares entire motivations for what he did in the first movie) and the circle of life lessons throughout the entire show contradict the selves and make no sense. And the new Mufasa movie coming out is gonna ruin things even further.
The thing about this is that Kion in his teen version he looked to much as mufasa his grandfather which he carried so many traits such as his muzzle in different angles. His mane was striped looking like mufasa. It’s really crazy that they designed kion to resemble him looking like mufasa.
Hopefully he will be as strong and powerful as him as well.

Mufasa x Sarabi were king and queen of Pride Rock and raised their son Simba. Simba x Nala were childhood friends before they even got married and after they got married, Simba followed in his father's rule and became the new king of Pride Rock. Simba's daughter Kiara fell in love 🥰 for the outsider Kovu and after Simba realized that the Pridelanders and the Outsiders needed to be reconciled and were reintergrated back in the Pride Lands. The Lion King (1994) and The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride (1998).

I love the lion guard. It’s one of my favorite shows. Plus Kion and Rani’s love story. It was heartwarming. It reminded me of Fluttershy and Discord from My little pony friendship is magic. By the way if you haven’t seen that show I highly recommend it. It’s just as good as the lion guard.

I remember when The Lion Guard first came out, it was met with a lot of negative criticism. But the animation, songs (not all but some) and their lessons really hit home. And this is why I love the show then and now. If only we could get more from the show.

Season 3 came out when i was 11 but at 12 i suddenly got addicted to lion guard cause i felt there romance puberty really makes us feel things 😂
A side effect of Kion and. Rani's marriage is an alliance between the Tree of Life and the Pridelands. Since Rani's parents are deceased, she's closer than usual to Kion's parents.

The two travel around the territory together and confess their love for one another ("Of the Same Pride"). Afterward, Rani asks Kion if he will be her king. I heard that in the lion guard season 4 was supposed to explore the lore of Kopa son on Simba and Nala. Also I’ll give you the extended story of Kion and Rani’s love life.
Extended version: Kion and Rani are ruling the tree of life very well but one day Rani gets sick and they realize from Mikikiini that Rani is pregnant. Rani lives on to have their first son named Kito. Kito soon learned how to walk and Kion and Rani were teaching him how to rule because someday he would be king. Then Rani gets pregnant again and this time has a daughter named Inja. Inja and Kito used to play along every single day until something changed Rani was pregnant once again and this time they had a boy named Ian. Ian and Kito were playing around at the lake until Kito started drowning. No one was around so Ian tried to save his brother and in the process he discovered the roar. Over time Ian assembled his team. Instead of the traditional 5 lions in the team ( fiercest, bravest, fastest, strongest, and the keenest of sight) Ian had put in his crew Nandi his crush,Courage his best friend,Fleck his cousin (Kiara’s son), Nash his cousin ( Kopa’s son) Kito his brother, Inja his sister, and Amy Kito’s crush. Later on we learn that Scar had a descendant named Chalka that Scar’s spirt went inside Chalka and a group of evil hyenas from the backlands accompanied him. Scar’s army consisted of the hyenas, banished hippos from Beshte’s float, snakes and scorpions. Together Ian’s newly formed group worked together to take down Scar’s forces and even the reincarnated Scar himself. But that won’t be easy with Chalka’s son Jynx around to help defeat Ian’s clan himself.

Some may say that their relationship was rushed but I don’t believe so for those of you who think it’s a bit soon for Kion and Rani to fall in love then it’s not really
Because
When you think it it’s not a few days that Kion’s been at The Tree Of Life you need to think about it as many years cause when he left the Pridelands Kiara was a teenager just a bit older than him but when Kion returned to the Pridelands Kiara was a full grown adult and was with Kovu it’s possible he spent a few years at The Tree Of Life and fell in love with Rani over those few period of years I mean if it were a few days then it would have took Kion and the Guard only a few days to get to The Tree Of Life but as Kion and the Guard were gone for the whole remainder of The Lion King 2 Simba’s Pride and therefore missed Kiara’s first hunt and Kovu being accepted after saving Kiara from the fire and the final battle between the Outsiders Of Zira’s Pride and the Pridelanders Of Simba’s Pride and also the defeat of Zira and the joining of Simba, Nala Kovu and Kiara roaring on top of Pride Rock to welcome the Outsiders and the Outsiders joining them then that leaves years of travelling to get to The Tree Of Life and then the years of healing and helping to defend and protect Tree Of Life while there also.
So when you think about it it isn’t a few days it’s only a few years and they fell in love over that period of time it may seem like days to us while we watch the episodes and think “oh hey it must be the next day now” but it’s not it’s actually like a few months later and then revolving into years as the episodes go on up to the Return To The Pridelands Episode
But again it would be years again to return to the Pridelands as when Azaard brought Janja and Jasiri to The Tree Of Life to warn Kion and The Lion Guard that Zira had returned and Kovu and Vitani were now older and that she was planning an attack on the Pridelands and was going to attack Kion’s family (aka the war between Outsiders and Pridelanders) that means also that the two hyenas had taken years to get to The Tree Of Life and The Night Prides Lands also the same with leading Kion and his friends back to The Pridelands because when they all return to the Pridelands the war is over and everyone is now at peace.
It’s also the same when Kion and the Guard decide to go and return to The Tree Of Life after losing their position as The Lion Guard to Vitani’s Lion Guard and decided to become part of The Night Prides team and help to protect The Tree Of Life and then endure some more years of travel to return there.

That dosent make any sence, the fact that you said : "kiara was a teenager a just a bit older than kion, but when kion returned, she was a full grown adult" makes me think if u really saw the series, if that was true kion should be adult too then, amd have full grown mane like kovu, when kion leaves he was a teenager, kiara too, when kion return, he is still a teenager, kiara its an adult? So thats ur theory logic?, not only kion should be a adult too but all the lion guard and rani and his friends too, bc almost all of then are the same age as kion, all teenagers, the is no clue or evidence in the series that says that kion took some years to get to the pridelands
And talking about kion and rani, of course its a rushed ship, not only rushed, its also a false love ship, rani just wanted kion to stay bc of the roar, bc her grandmother wanted kion to stay to keep the roar, even rani indirectly admits this in a episode,she actually said this in the show: "do you really need the roar? , me grandmother said that u were suposed to come here, that the roar was destined to return, maybe she meant that the roar should stay here, even if you leave"
Rani only persuaded Kion to stay, because if he left, then the roar leaves too, in the end Rani is just doing what her grandmother told her, that the roar stays in the tree of life, that's why She married him, She married him so he could stay and keep the roar too. :/
