Sorry ya’ll had this experience. I’ve always wanted to visit Egypt but I’ve seen a bunch of negativity online over the years that it makes me want to rethink visiting… I still have Baghdad on my list cause I’ve seen a few videos and the people seem super nice! Looking forward to more videos of your travels!
Iraq a country of culture, history and poetry, very interesting destination, just wanna tell you a specificity about this country, before all what happen to 🇮🇶 ppl there were the most educated in all Arabic countries. 👏 for the choice .
Sorry about lots of hassle to travel especially in Eagyptian places you guys are so brave and strong now you’re in IRAQ please be safe and god always bless you thank god you made it in Bagdad ok take care and always be safe 💖💖💖🌾🌾🌾🍀🍀🍀
This is Egypt! after living there for 4 months, I think I've saw pretty much everything. I'm sorry for your experience, and that I didn't saw you're Egypts vlogs on time, I have some catching up to do! Stay safe guys!
Iraq used to be a very secular country, but thanks to Bush and BLiar it's now more religious! Officially tho the constitution states that Iraq is a civil governance. Also hijab (headscarf) is not compulsory (like Iran). But probably you'll mostly see girls with hijab and many without. So you don't have to wear it really unless when you visit a "holy" site. Stay safe beautiful English couple! 😍
I am planning this trip in 2024. Glad to hear the visa on arrival was quick, we had a 3 hour wait for our Kuwait visa on arrival from Riyadh. Thanks for these great tips 🎉
Very interesting. Can't say Iraq is on any bucket list I've ever had but I'm sure it went fine as you've probably done 2 or more destinations since January. Surprised about all the hassle with Egyptian money but I guess that's a good warning to all of us.
u guys bown my mind again. going to Tunisa was already off the path but now you hit Bagdad... all the best for u & curious where u r uo to next. cheers from Tunisia 😊
It's kind of crazy that almost every RUclipsr I've ever known that goes to Egypt ends up having a similar experience. It's really too bad, as there is so much incredible history. 😔 We plan on going someday- so I guess we will have to keep this money thing in mind, on top of everything else.
11:24 I'm from Iraq you shouldn't wear hijab all the time you must wear it in the holy cities such as Kadhimiya Karbala and Najaf as well as mosques ❤❤❤😊
Welcome to Iraq, where there is kindness, friendliness and hospitality. We wish you a happy trip. There are many beautiful places and there are places that were destroyed because of the criminal George Bush. We look forward anyway.

That was the one knock that Harriet and I had about Egypt . Money Exchanging. We had some Egyptian Pounds left. when we flew back to the states, not as much as you guys. We had a hundred pounds left. We still have it. What did you do with the leftover pounds? Looking forward to video from Iraq . Hope you guys are doing ok. Sending you love and affection ❤❤❤from Richmond, Va. Harriet, Jim and Yuki
funny enough here in usa no one would trade my UAE dinar and Swiss francs .. I was told it wasn't a large enough sum to do the exchange! and it was pretty darn close to meeting the quantity needed just some short. So I guess i'll keep it til I travel to either place again someday hopefully
Wow, that was a rough day! So glad you made this video, lots of important travel tips for Egypt and Iraq. Btw, how did you spend your Egyptian pound? Thanks for sharing.Cheers!
Thanks for watching! As of yet we haven’t spent it 🥹😅 the terminal had no shops to buy anything substantial that we wanted so we made the decision to keep it
Hope you’re enjoying Iraq just be aware (as I found out) you will no longer be able to use the ESTA visa waiver scheme going to the US if you’ve visited Iraq
Hi!You always can to chаnge money in your country - to propose It to another travellers who gonna fly to Egуpt. In Tehran we had the same situation. But we decided to buy everything in duty-free)))
When you're in London exchange your Egyptian money to British Pounds (or Euros, or US Dollars) for example in Edgware Road there is a lot of change shops, the rate will be shit but better than nothing
If you are traveling to Egypt, only withdraw the bare minimum you will need for taxis, food etc. Credit cards are widely accepted in Cairo & most restaurants accept them. The Egyptian pound has been plummeting & nobody will want to trade them for euros or dollars. Also Egyptians do not like people filming.
Definitely something we normally do! But needed money for iraq so thought that would be the best option. No airports are really comfortable with filming to be honest!
After knowing ur experience with the currency exchange,I’m more curtain about not visiting Egypt,it’s one of the famous tourist destinations and also one of the hardest one ,watch sonny side and his whole crew teams nightmare experience at the Cairo airport from arrival to next departure, unreal experience
im sorry about that, i heard from many how scandalous the egyptians are. Now i never want to go there and support that kind of country which is a shame with the great history of the pyramids.
