    This is my first scripted video! Let me know how you think I did. Before this video, I just didn't script and flew by the seat of my pants. However, later on in editing, I often saw myself stutter so much that I had to re-record lines and it just ruined the whole experience. As a result, Quickies is now scripted.

    I love Gazzak just for existing. I never use Arthur or Charlotte for combat bc theyre always being used as a backpack. Gazzak actually let's me use the berserker class and his stats are ridiculously good. It's like they made Hawkeye from fe 7 into a Gotoh unit.

    Something that always gets understated about Soleil, is how easy it is to make her into the absurd meta unit she is meant to be. From the jump, you can have her use the Offspring Seal, and get, or get close to Sol. Not even a few levels later, she is already able to heart seal into Master Ninja. With the press of a few buttons, you’ve got the fastest, strongest, and easiest Sol Ninja in Conquest.

    Well, I suppose Effie!Kana just makes another child worse, but Wary Fighter + Draconic Hex with the Dragonstone+ added bulk is a hard thing to give up.

    Couple of notes: while I agree behind the general principles of "paralogue chaining," I personally find doing mainline chapters intermittently to be very valuable, especially when training a strong inner team. Paralogues can be much easier than mainline chapters, so taking a bit of time for the level of the enemies to increase can be helpful, especially for lvl15 skills. I once got a lvl10 promoted Charlotte from lvl1 to lvl15 using ch20 and a paralogue for Axefaire for example (I wasn't using Xander that run and Charlotte was free so I was like "hey why not get Axefaire Siegbert" and since I had a good means to clear that chapter along with using it as a paralogue chain link, it was pretty nice. That Siegbert was broken as heck but also so was the rest of my team).
    Percy getting Hp+5 is always nice, but I always find myself dreaming for that sweet mv +1 from the Niles friendship. The main issue with that is juggling the support I feel, especially if you're almost always using Arthur as a backpack in which case the support is a minor issue in comparison to the elephant in the room which is that , of course, Arthur is no longer in that juicy fighter line.
    As for Siegbert, I've said it before and I'll say it again, while he can make for a really nice unit, if you can play his map without causing you extreme emotional suffering, then your units are good enough and you don't need him. The only time I've done his paralogue is when I had both Odin and Ophelia equipped to be enemy phase vantage sweepers as well as multiple offense monsters for player phase.

      I have a reccomendation for Siegbert's chapter; if you capture an Oni Savage or Kumagera, or you have an Oni Savage!Corrin marry Kaze, you could have a unit with Salvage Blow 👀 and it works on the infinitely spawning enemies.
      Once you get the situation under control, say 2-3 Dragon Veins, you can grind each vein for 99 Iron variants, which sell for 49500 gold; enough for a +6 Bronze weapon, like a dagger for Sol Ninja bullshit. Midori is best for this because she caps Luck at 30, and her personal gives +20% so 50% chance for a weapon per kill, or 100% with Azura support, or 150% and a cleared vein with Shelter help.
      Obviously it's a huge cost, you have to marry Corrin to Kaze, AND use a lackluster talent, AND pass down Salvage Blow, but it makes Siegbert's chapter the single best map for getting absurd numbers of gold. You could use Kumagera and a Heart Seal, and train him a touch, but it'll take a lot longer and his luck isn't really all that high

    I’m always going to be in the camp of Effie!Percy being his best mother. He can get amazing skills from his parents like elbow room from Arthur and Quick draw from effies mozu friendship. But the thing that I like the most is his availability from this pairing. Effie and Arthur join super early and have a fast support, so you can get Percy relatively quickly. The extra gold early on is nice, and it allows you to take the most advantage of Camilla’s amazing base stats to swarm the paralogue map and pop dragon veins with less risk before the enemies get stronger

      The main issue is justifying devoting one of your best backpacks to a unit that lacks mobility like Effie.

    • @jonathanlgill
      @jonathanlgill 2 года назад

      If you get Percy early, though, there's no way he's receiving Quick Draw from Effie and likely not Elbow Room from Arthur (though he can class into Paladin himself).
      My favorite use of him is getting triple Ralleys (Rally Strength, Rally Defense, Rally Speed). He can naturally learn R. Defense in his base classline, Arthur can pass down Rally Strength (or more time-consumingly, he can class-change into Berserker himself), and there are three mothers that can either pass down Rally Speed or allow him to class-change into a Falcon Knight and learn it himself: Selena, Azura, Beruka. A flying triple ralleybot is extremely useful and comes online earlier than a Ralleyman capture.

    Thankfully I found this Vid when planning my “forever” Conquest file, I was really struggling over Selena, Leo, odin, & Benny’s options (I’m F Corrin with Shura), but with this help I reshaped my parings & really like the list I got, so thanks for the help!! 🥳✨
    I am curious if you feel differently now (if you’re reading this lol) & what do you think about Keaton as Shigure’s dad 👀?
    I personally want to get more resources (without castle hopping) & Kinshi / Falcon classes Azura gives have the highest luck caps at 34 & 35 (+5 with Anna’s bow at B rank) which was better than Bow knight / Hero’s 30 & 31
    (Tbf I will give him the Lordstar seal too for that 55% growth & 40 cap XD)
    My point is, if someone’s gonna reclass Keaton to maximize his opportunities to trigger his personal, wouldn’t Azura be the best option for him?
    And because of inheritance rules, Azura can pick between giving him fighter or songstress skills, with Keaton picking fighter or mercenary skills too! Want rally Str & Skill with your Spd & Res? How about a 2nd back pack since Keatons gotta end his own turns for the first 7? He ain’t using any stones, you lose nobody! I wonder what to give Valoria tho, maybe luck +4? /hj
    Thanks for reading (if you did~) this was a big help! & I enjoyed talking propaganda for Shigure becoming a furry XD

    I posted this in a comment but felt it warranted a comment of it's own.

An Oni Savage is the lowest opportunity cost at a Master Seal, but they have such god awful Luck that it's probably going to take forever, and they likely won't be able to kill easily.

    I've only ever been able to complete Sigbert and Ignatius's paralogues by completing them before Ch. 18 and paralogue enemies promote. Which requires a lot of paralogue chaining to marry Xander before then.
    So basically, I end up needing to paralogue chain...just to paralogue chain. (I do love Ignatius as a unit though)

    Just playing through Fates for the first time in 2024. Is it worth waiting to recruit children until you have good skills to pass down or should you just go for it since the kids can turn into their parent's classes? I'm looking at Ophelia since her chapter is profitable, but I also want to use her...

      @@lagspike7763 This is my first FE game so pardon me for asking questions. In your video you were saying to promote Silas for an early game Sophie, but what is the point of doing that.
      And should I level my units to 20, promote them before getting children.

    • @lagspike7763
      @lagspike7763  10 месяцев назад

      @@shawn0204 ok I’ll answer the second thing first bc it’s easier: Promoting at level 20 in Fates is a total scam except for Corrin. Level 20 promotion is so late that you’ll end up suffering on the later midgame maps (17 and 18 especially) that you shouldn’t bother. I promote non-Corrin units at level 17 at the latest usually.
      As for the early Silas Sophie thing, Silas is a bit of a tough unit to use optimally because it requires you get him into hero for sol and get him an A+ support with Kaze so that he can go into Master Ninja, at which point he becomes a really strong 1-2 range enemy phase tank with Sol. This can be tough to set up and maintain for someone newer to the game, so I recommend promoting him early so that you have a really strong Paladin or great knight for the difficult chapter 10 and then use the fact that Silas joins really early to get him married quickly to someone in the starting squad (like Effie) so that when you access the Sophie paralogue she’ll be able to effectively replace Silas as a long term unit.
