Dude.... this game. Is unbelievable. This looks amazing. I was a little bit concerned that this was just going to be like BotW 1.5. But after watching this, no, this is going to be a sequel that is far better than its predecessor. So hyped right now.
How so?, its the same map we've already explored through just a few copy and paste ps2 looking islands added, were's the sense of adventure and exploring a new world
@Joel Michael - Well, the new gameplay mechanics in addition to the sky islands is what looks extremely fun to explore. When you can take a mechanic that can have multiple possibilities, the only thing that limits it is the player's creativity and imagination, that's piques my interest. Visuals are the same; their goal is to keep loading screens out of it, but PS2? Exaggeration much? Lol But I'll say this, if indeed everything is exactly the same and the dungeons suck (which all remains to be seen), then it will knock down the rating considerably.
I am about to have 3 Nintendo Switches and a new Pro Controller😂💪🏻 I am pumped with this Zelda game so much. Don’t know how else to express it. I might play more hours than BOTW and that’s saying a lot🔥 The new additions and abilities look amazing.
I need this in my life now! Need that OLED model, for those who were worried about weapons breaking too fast, boom, just fuse to "repair" that durability.
This looks so good. Zelda fan since LTTP on SNES. The ideas are so fresh, the open world just works for Zelda. I actually giggled at the weapon and vehicle fusing 🤘🏻

I'm soooooooooo excited to play this game...waited so long. Glad we got some kind of game play. I wish we got some knowledge if we are getting dungeons again....ugh. May 12th can't get here fast enough 👍
Yes, it’s actually gotten me quite a bit more into the Zonai lore videos out there. I’m entering a whole new rabbit hole of Zelda lore theories now lol
I’m still on the fence about this game because this was essentially supposed to be a DLC expansion but they decided last minute to just go ahead and make it into a full on sequel. But based on what they’ve shown us so far, I can help but feel like this isn’t really going to be worth $70. Which is a very ridiculous price point for a game that just pretty much Breath of the Wild but with a couple new tweaks. Same setting. Same art style. Same graphical quality. Likely going to have tons of bugs and frame rate issues because of the new layers to the world that now exist. If Nintendo wanted fans to be hype for this game and justify a $70 price tag, they really missed the mark. My only hope is that these Switch 2.0 rumors are true and that this game ends up being a cross gen title and hopefully it’ll receive DLC in the future.
The more components you have, the more juice it has because the meter is consolidated. They won't have 4 different battery cells floating everywhere on screen. This is no different than gaining hearts and stamina increase via normal gameplay.

I've seen my share of dungeons over the decades (looking at you, Water Temple). Really looking forward to Tears of the Kingdom. But I'm a bit underwhelmed. But then again you can't come up with groundbreaking stuff all the time, so this new one might be a victim of its own success. But I'll play it. And there's still hope. I stay tuned.

Agreed. Looks like combat/UI is the same. Same overworld + and - changes throughout the land. Happy with what they showed, but I feel like we need more to differentiate the 2 games. Is there something big we're missing? If so, why haven't they showed us yet. It def looking like dlc at this point. If I was a creator, I would want my consumers to know they are getting something brand new.
@@kylebarclay9352 It's a direct sequel though. There are many game series that literally do the same thing. Halo, CoD, Sports games, etc. etc., using same models, worlds and combat system. Like Sunbro said, they are most definitely not showing all of their cards. No mention of shrines or dungeons or the underworld. Also, the Zonai clan are involved which has been a giant mystery for everyone for a long time. This is Nintendo we are talking about, the kings of being secretive.

Literally looks the same just dlc. No 4k support. Game will run at 10-20 fps. Not worth $70.
