- These are My First uploads ! They're made of an old VHS tape, recorded in 1983 from German television when they did the European The Net Tour. (original sound=mono, so now it's 2-channel mono)
I was lucky enough to see them during that tour in Utrecht (Netherlands).
Farnham still IS The Voice !
John Farnham has what you could call a "Perfect Voice." That doesn't mean his pitch is perfect it means he sings from the heart and his voice is resonant, strong, and clear. I don't believe in voice lessons. I sing myself and I know it's in your soul what you believe in a lyric and melody that can make you a great singer. Both John Farnham and Glenn Shorrock and also Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply are Australia's premier vocalists. The world had a lot at one point. I'm going to begin work on a serious project at my old age of what will by then probably be 38 because I love writing emotional lyrics and singing. I would like to thank all great singers worldwide. I have so many different influences and it is in this song you can hear a prime example of one of my biggest ones. A really great performance from the whole band and John belts it out. He's great!
It is nice getting musicians together with the same direction.
