  • Hi lovelies,
In today's video I share with you my experience of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency or Primary Ovarian Failure (POI). Basically, I was told by my doctor that I was going through menopause at 24 years old.
When i found out that I might have this condition, I was looking high and low for resources online and people similar to me, sharing their stories on RUclips, but I found that the resources were very limited. That is why I wanted to make this video to share my personal experience and to hopefully help other women in situations similar to mine!
I pride myself on being open and honest with everyone and here on my channel and I hope you enjoy this story time video!
If you have any questions or wan't to chat, feel free to message me on my instagram or comment down below.

I also got diagnosed last year.. I was 34z i have been checking my fertility constantly and they always missed this diagnosis.. it’s so discouraging to be so proactive in making sure you are fertile and they always tell you how healthy you are. I managed to get pregnant with IVF but I wish I knew about this condition earlier cos most likely I’ll get menopause right after my first baby

Thank you for speaking about this! The first time I learned about the existence of this is when Swedish blogger Kenza Zouiten Subosic wrote about being diagnosed at age 26 (I believe). She has a youtube channel as well and she discusses it in the video where she discusses the pregnancy with her first child. If anyone’s interested I believe both her blog & videos have English translations/subtitles. I love it when people with any type of platform discuss these things. I’m so glad you got pregnant! So happy for you! 🙏🏻💕

It's okay if you don't feel comfortable sharing but did you happen to get the HPV vaccine? If you don't know you could ask your parents, It would've been around 11-16ish. Many people who get this vaccine have POI. Including me

Thank you for sharing your experience. I would recommend Dr. Berg here on RUclips because he has so much information on curing our disease! Restoring hormones and balancing health/diet. I chose not to take medicine. There is a plasma injection that you can receive that gets injected into your ovaries!! It's supposed to cure it!! So you should look into this!!

@@aanchalsharma2888 not to sound arrogant, but I have done HOURS of research ☺️🙏 I would love to help you because I feel like I know A LOT! LOL. And I have advice to share! I haven't taken and blood tests lately but I'm sure that if I did, my hormones would be looking better. I like to believe that I'm cured but I still have days where I'm down and also I still don't have a period. But it's nothing like when I was first diagnosed at 21. I'm 23 now

Did you get the Gardasil vaccine? If so, that’s the likeliest culprit for causing POF.
