This is great! Using some expanding foam inside would make it sturdier. I wouldn't be pretty on this inside, but once it was all painted, no one would know.
❤ Very nice. I wish I had the patience for that level of work. I bought a large blow mold cauldron from Party City instead but it doesn’t look quite unique as yours.
Hi, Glad you love Halloween. I have since a small child. It was the best time. Just found your channel and looking forward to your projects. The cauldron is GREAT.
Hello watching from Monticello KY USA I do paper mache to and I use flour glue (school glue) water and I make it kinda like cake mixture and it dries very well for me but it is very messy though but love the video 😊
I made one of these and the paper mache will not hold up when moisture is introduced with water foggers. I have made my own props for years and despite weather proofing specifically for moisture, it breaks down. Good for a dry cauldron, but I’d suggest buying plastic and aging it if you will be using foggers.
I love how even RUclips knows I start my spooky prep in August, and I'm so glad it chose your video to kicksstart the recommendations! Can't wait to see what else you share with us.

Great job! I'm getting ready to start mine but am building a fire pit as well.
Last weekend I was looking at how to make a large cauldron! This is perfect, thank you 🙏
You did an excellent job!
Great job, I'm doing a witch theme this year so building a cauldron myself. Not sure why your video popped up in my feed but glad it did. 🙂
Glad it was helpful!
I’ve got a walk through of my witch themed party from last year coming soon.

Great Halloween 🎃 Prop 💀🎈🐈⬛🦉
Do you think more paper mache layers would have helped it feel sturdier? btw I love the idea for the legs! Great way to prop it up!
Yes I think it could have done with a few more layers, for sure.
How long did you leave it to dry between layers?
I did a layer a day, could probably do one of a morning and one of an evening if you wanted.
