@@AshlynneEaton ı have kind of like the same skin as you but I dont usually put tinted moisturizer, instead I use sunscreen when im about to go out because it makes the job very well 👌😊
With a blender sponge you are supposed to push the product in with a stappling motion, not pull it around... That's very bad for the skin (wrinkles!!) and makes your makeup patchy 😅
And wet it! Squeeze while it's under running water to absorb then squeeze out the excess and stipple. And I just clean with a gentle bar soap like others have said. Maybe it would come cleaner if I used a special product but 🙅 I don't need to buy anything else right now 😂
@@naturalmama_of_5 I use dawn soap for mine as well as my brushes. It has worked well for years on them! (I do replace the sponge every six months...I don't use it every day.)
Agree, I like to messily spread my makeup somewhat evenly onto my face with my fingers and then go in with a damp sponge and sort of blot over the skin to even it out 😊
My collection is pretty similar! I am not a big make up person. I don’t wear foundation and blush on a daily basis either but any time I do, my skin definitely looks more even. Love the idea of moisturizer with tint!!! Need to look into it! And I use 3D mascara which I LOVE!!! Not ethical but looks so much better than anything I tried before!
When you apply eyebrow products you're supposed to apply the way the hair grows. Going against it can make it harder to blend & get the shape you want. Also, running a spolie through them (the way the hairs grow) when applying your eyebrow product will help. Xo
Oh wow I have watched your minimal makeup collection from a year ago then I stumbled onto this video and your confidence is so much different from before. Your voice was a little shaky (perhaps from being nervous) and now you're so natural and bubbly. I love that!
I forgot to mention that if you do want to try the Jane Iredale eye pencil buy it from their website because it is free shipping no minimum purchase amount and free returns if you don’t like it😊
I find using fingers for bb or cc creams are best. The heat in our hands helps blend the cream well. Also, when putting your eyebrow colour, swipe with how your hair grows, so outwards :)
I clean my beauty blender by scrubbing it against a bar of soap under running water and it works so well! Liquid soap gets me no where when it comes to cleaning it :)
Your collection is my goal 😅 I'm passionate about makeup and that lead to uncontrolled shopping tours. I accumulated so many products throughout the years, that I was able to not buy anything new for the past 2 years 🙈🙈
@@Aida_aj Easter is coming up and we always have family that comes over so it would be a good time to try to see if any of my Aunts or Cousins could use any of it.
Jane Iredale eye pencils are great! They go on smooth & stay on & don’t cause burning because UD black made my eyes water badly so I don’t buy UD anymore. I have repurchased the Jane Iredale black/brown color so many times because it is that good!
faeriesmak I hope it works out for you! I do feel like I go thru the Jane Iredale liners faster so that is one downfall but at least it doesn’t burn my eyes & it stays on!
faeriesmak I forgot to tell you that if you do try the Jane Iredale buy it from their website because it is free shipping and free returns if you don’t like it😊
@@jessicamarie5398 I was having such bad luck with liners that I pretty much stopped wearing them. The Colourpop ones don't irritate my eyes but they don't have the greatest ingredients.
If you’re looking to pick up a new lipstick the Pixi Naturelle Lipsticks are amazing, super moisturising, not drying and their outer packaging is cardboard!! Super cute colours too! Love from Scotland 💗💗
I have a blush pallet I also use as eyeshadow it has three colors. And like u tinited I have moisturizer, i have a powder, a lipstick, and mascara. I use just a little make up. Police in a while I'll use more but that's my go to look.minimal and simple.
A bar of soap is all you need to clean your sponge, it’s the best cleaner for sponges. I like the Elf bar. Also sponges have to replaced every couple months.
My favorite makeup item is from tarte it’s their bb cream! Covers like foundation but is lightweight! I’d say medium coverage! And doesn’t have that chemical foundation smell (: I love it!
Hush and Dotti makes a gel liner that I’ve been wanting to try that has good reviews and will probably give you a similar look. Also, you should be washing your face sponge after EVERY. USE. I use dr bronners Castille bar soap and it works just as well if not better than the beauty blender cleaner. You should also be replacing your sponge about every 3 months because of bacteria. Patting the sponge instead of rubbing it on your face will give you a better coverage and you will probably waste less product.
What are the specific names of the colours of eyeshadow in your Elate trio? I was thinking of investing in some Elate cosmetics and those 3 colours are my ideal colours for eyeshadow!!!
Eyeliner recommendation: I would suggest L.A. Girl pencils. They are really nice. They also sell gel eyeliner in pots which is good too. Ionce bought their gel eyeliner kit in black and it was the perfect introdution to gel eyeliner for me and it came with a wood brush which worked perfectly. I still keep it. L.A. Girl is a brand that its a little more ethical than Urban Decay as they don't test on animals and I think they are alreay making vegan stuff. Gosh is told to be very good also. Right now I'm going through the Tatto Liner pencil liners from Maybelline and I must say that they are awesome. I almost feel guilty from using them as Maybelline is anything but ethical but that particular line of products is really good.
I love the rms lip to cheeks. I believe that the shade that you have is called Demure. As far as washing your sponge just use liquid Dr. Bronners Castile soap. It works the best. Also..I don’t want to be nit picky but you are not supposed to rub the sponge all over your face. You are supposed to use it to stipple or bounce it on your face. There are a ton of tutorials on You Tube that might help you out with that. It’s better for your skin and you will get better results.
Try Prados Beauty Brushes. They are an indigenous beauty brand that have amazing brushes! I’ve used eco tools for a few years and just switched to Prados, and oh my goodness, the difference is astounding.
I love RMS but can you do a review or list of cruelty free and better ingredient companies or brands please. Btw, how did you start your minimalism journey? Do you have a video covering topics like where to begin transitioning to minimalism etc? Thanks. Would it help if you were to apply chapstick before the RMS pink lip shade? Have you tried Pacifica and what do you think of them? I need to do more research in general. The one thing I do know is that anything that uses mica may be connected to child labor and potential endangerment and other questionable practices. I only know this from watching a documentary several months ago on You Tube. Unfortunately, mica is used in so many products these days so not sure if it’s entirely avoidable :(

Eye pencil and lip balm of course I can't go out without them! 💞

Yes!! I am a huge tinted moisturizer fan. It’s moisturizer, spf, and a smidge of coverage all in one. A minimalist product if ever there was one! 😏
I use Dr. Bronners to clean my brushes and sponge. No need to buy specialized cleaners. Love the video!
