I loveeee "old school RUclips" content! I think your collection is quite a normal size! We should normalize not having a whole chest of drawers of makeup, but rather a collection of pieces you truly love.

That is a good basic principle of minimalism and can be applied to all your possessions and not just makeup!!!!
You’re right, my makeup collection is down to two lipsticks and a lip liner - 8 years now and still going strong.
This honestly seems like a pretty normal amount of makeup, cause sometimes you need different things for different days, so it's always good to have a couple of options.
I'm impressed that you've narrowed your makeup quite a bit! I remember the "old days" when you had a larger collection, which made sense for your content at the time.
Similarly, I love my small daily makeup bag and a few other things I rotate in and out. Although, watching makep videos as a way to relax makes it hard not trying new products, thinking they might be better than what I'm currently using 😁

Keen to try Merit - versus Summer Fridays - lip oil products. Thanks for your vids, always! What would be your top three lip products of 2023? (I am keeping to 2 per cycle - having had expired products 2020-2023 become really bad for my eczema-prone skin). Keeping it fresh I think, is key.

Nevertheless there is this vibe ' i easily give away/ donate' because it is easy to buy/ get given. I hold to my collection as you do with your Hermes stuff, not easy to replace.
