“Beauty to me is a way to express myself,” Sweeney says in our exclusive video, above. “I almost try on different personalities of myself, whether I want to feel bold or sexy or flirty or tomboy - it’s a way to explore all those different personalities.”

For anyone who’s gonna complain about her only really using Armani products, here’s the thing….lots of celebrities and even influencers have sponsors, that’s just the norm. I’m sure a few of few are aware of what happened on Hollywood over the last few months into recently with with actors and actresses weren’t being paid enough for their roles in different shows, and movies and all of these huge CEO’s were taking the money. Sydney in particular over the course of her career, barely made enough in residuals despite being in 2 of the most popular shows on HBO: White Lotus and Euphoria. Due to that, she’s had to make most of her income by doing brand deals and sponsorships with brands like Armani, Laneige, and Bai…..which is why a lot of her skincare and even makeup videos, consist of her using lots of Armani, and lots of Laneige. That’s not her fault that’s just how the industry is.
Exactly! She is a spokesperson for Armani Beauty and Laneige, so she HAS to use them.
It's crazy for people to complain about what makeup people use in general, I know that's an unpopular opinion but I see that behavior a lot on tiktok especially. But that's the freedom people have- to chose what makeup they're going to acquire and use. At the end of the day, what one person uses or doesn't, won't change what you can/will use. I'm sorry- I could be harsher but I'm going to keep it sweet and simple. I understand if it can make someone feel bad, but ppl can't walk on eggshells, be fake and performative, create a facade, etc, andddd etc.
Exactly. So it’s disingenuous to have this post telling us what’s in her make up kit. If she weren’t sponsored and got all this product free do you seriously think for a minute she would be using all Armani. Nope. So this is basically one long advert.

It'd be disingenuous if she was doing this only for the advert but since Armani gives her the free products and she uses it, it really isn't. The reality in which Armani didn't give her those doesn't matter because its not real in our's.

they are expensive and arent cruelty free though fyi, although yes its luxury so its normal to be expensive but some people also only pay attention to cruelty free. I really like their luminous concealer a bit more than their foundation though

Yes but here’s the thing because you clearly aren’t aware of this…..plenty of celebrities do endorsements and sponsorships for brands like that, that’s one of the ways they make their money, that’s just how it goes because believe it or not, not every celebrity out there is filthy rich. They aren’t forcing you or demanding you to buy the products, they aren’t telling you “you need to buy these products now” it’s just like any ad for these products that you see on tv, but with celebrities they do it more personal. If that bothers you, than don’t watch videos like this. It’s not Sydney’s fault that Armani, Laneige, and even Bai wanna sponsor her.
