I got a bottle of this to use in my '88 Chevy van's 5.7L. The rear main seal seeps out 1 quart of motor oil every 300 miles. Also loses manifold vacuum when driving up road grades at all speeds. Think that's due to leaky lifters and stuck piston rings. Hope this jazz gets those two freed up and seals the oil seepage.
I was told from one of Bars Sales Rep that this one will work on my cam and crank seals. I just poured a bottle and will let you guys know how it works. I was told that depending on the leak it could take two bottles but we’ll see.
@@christopherhicks4566 I had a major leak, so it didn’t work. Still haven’t found the root of the problem due to the holidays sucking me dry. But I strongly believe it’s the cam and crank seals.
I have a 2008 bmw 550i and my car smokes very lightly when I turn it on , disappears. Then when idling after 2 min or so I rev it and a cloud comes out. Then clears out .
I have replaced Pcv , put in blue devil , nothing really , now I put in a mix I saw from a guy named sweet mechanic (or something like that) do. It has Gum out , marvel mystery oil and this bars leak product seen on this video . Will see if it worked after 100 miles
@@cheemongyang1090 well it worked for me...i had a 89 mustang 5.0 with low oil pressure plus a knock for awhile...i tried bars and nothing...put lucas in and every good again.
To each their own honestly really depends on the damage in your engine to say if something worked or not. In my case it worked for me. In your case it didnt. But i’d try anything out before spending an arm and leg to get repairs done
Yes my engine is running like it used to again. Just depends on how bad your engine’s condition is but i’d give it a shot before pulling the motor out. You will need to drive it and put at least 200 miles on it to make sure its able to do its magic after that if it’s still not helping then just means your engine is too far gone.
@@christopherhicks4566 ...I been using this for a couple a years now. I had a co-worker that had a 2006 Ford f-150 V6 model. Who engine had a real small ticking sound. He said he once used Lucas in his oil, but felt like the Lucas made the engine run more congested sorta speak. A year later, we was talking, and he told me that he been stopped using Lucas, and had been using this bar's engine repair, and he said he noticed a difference, plus the motor sounded better to me when I heard it again. Because of that, I started using this in my car's oil, at every oil change, ever since. And it's now going on 4 years since I been using it at every oil change. Don't get me wrong, my motors never really had any really noticeable issues with them. But I'm all about longevity on my car's. And I kinda think I can feel the improvement in the acceleration area. But then again, it could be the placebo effect working on my mind as well. But overall, it seems like it's been a positive experience using this stuff at every oil change, ever since ..

Van has over 300K of hard use. Stuff like this may be needed with each oil change but is worth it if get better gas mileage and add less oil.
Mine was flashing due to misfire if i gave it more gas than normal but I haven’t seen it flash lately since I’ve added this in. I also just did another oil change today because it was due and added another bottle in seems to drive a lot better with the additional bottle

It sounds like you need to replace coils and spark plugs
Naw that wasn’t the problem lol the problem was that the cheap oil burned up and the engine ended up running dry.
Will this thing increase oil pressure?

Depends if your oil is old or new. But i’d probably put it in with new oil.

Do you now use per oil change or was it one and done and you change oil as normal
It says you can but i havent done the next oil change yet but i plan to use it again
do a flush then use lucas oil treatment....a lot better

So important question it’s been7 months do you put this in every oil change now or did that just fix it and u just continue oil change as normal
