I know like you said this sqt is not consider a mansion , but it’s looking like a mansion surrounding with big huge land , I can’t wait this Christmas you all seat under this new construction with Christmas tree in it , Great huge family room , boy I can’t wait to see your progress this winter time , it’s joyful, be careful of the high , I love your channel ❤

Julie you are the type of JOY that could happen to a man and that one that every man has and will always pray for, just to mention a few from an eye looking at you and your family from far,I see Marty living a long life because his heart is not skipping, running and or over speeding. I am learning from your life’s the more i watch your videos,Julie always put her KING always before herself by words physically and by actions May Heavenly Father continue to bless you for keeping your home together.
It's looking great. I'm so glad the trusses arrived. I was worried you might have a challenge getting everything dried in before the weather changes, especially with that open wall.
Lots of progress. You should definitely get this weather protected before the snow comes in. We're actually getting some early rain in northern California.
Come on, man. Use the drone to fly a string thru the trusses so you can attach the long 2x4 and pull it thru. Out-side-da-box-man! Looks amazin. J & S are such a huge part of the build. Blessed family. Thanks for sharing
Nice job on the trusses guys... Looking real good....! Love how the cats and Tux are use to the construction and even play around in it i.e. the two cats playing between the ladder and the one tabby got paint on it's paw... I know those boots are probably real comfortable but don't ya think it's time to get some new boots Marty?? Get some like Jules... Her boots look sturdy, especially the toes... 👍👍
I observe that when you are cutting, you are cutting on the middle of the marking. Please remember that you then will get the length a bit shorter if you don’t take into account the dimension of the blade. The best is to cut exactly on the side of the marking, but please select the correct side.
Hey Julie, when using aluminum it's best that you have gloves on as that aluminum penetrates into your system and that's last thing that you want is a heavy metal in your system. Love you guys you're the best
Milwaukee 7 1/4" Battery Miter Saw Jewel would love it I am sure. Also we always built our" Barge Rafter " on the ground much easier, hence the name. Measure twice cut once ! awesome job !
I bought that same saw from harbor freight because I seen u build a whole house with it but I have had to buy a digital angle finder to zero out the blade every so often u can get them on Amazon it is worth it. And when that slide raise is rough just take some 1000 or 1500 grit sand paper go over it real quick then put some grease on it. It will roll better than brand new.
Nice to see Jules wearing the ear muffs, so she can hear her Grandkids. Now if she would just wear her glasses so she can see her Grandkids. My friends big sister that lives in Idaho lost an eye working with wood.
@ 4.41 Julie, when you are using a dropsaw you really should keep your hand that is holding the timber that is being cut much further away from the blade.
On your sliding compound mitre saw wash the bars with sos ,pads get them real shiny again , wipe them real clean ,then put either white Liithiom spray grease or wd40 a good coat on them so that they don't bind anymore just a suggestion it work for me up north
Those rafters on the end "barge rafters" or something similar are called "lookouts". Those are way better to support the roof than the rake only style.. Keep on, you're doing a great job!😉

🐼 Big Panda Bear Hugs from a 69 yr old grandma in Texas, USA. 🐼 ❤ 🎀 👍 🧚♂ 🐈 🧚 🍀 💐
Considering the 'ideal conditions' for water skying rather than roof work, that went excellently. You must be pleased.
good morning, everyone GOD bless you all.
She is left handed......Prefect!.......lol....... Enjoying all this building stuff!

Just want to say, you make the best videos. Thank you. Your a joy to watch.
I love that moment with the cat, getting the foot in the paint 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like that you include the mistakes in your videos because mistakes are part of doing it yourself, it's a learning process.
Nice Job. You are going to have a beautiful home when you are done with this. 😀
I would recommend that you use locksmiths powdered graphite for your circular saw slide for lubricant and not oil because it gets gummy.
WOW!!! Im impressed! Julie I hand it too ya, Im 54 not sure I could do what you do. LOVE watching your channel! You both are an inspiration. Especially to others who were in full time ministry and didnt have a retirement plan. Love yall God-Speed

Jules was in beast-mode climbing those trusses like a pro! I couldn’t get my wife on a ladder, let alone a roof. It looks great Folks!

It's looking great. I'm so glad the trusses arrived. I was worried you might have a challenge getting everything dried in before the weather changes, especially with that open wall.
Safety Sally seen a safety violation you weren't strapped in on the rafters... LOL

Martin what do the letters on your black t-shirt stand for?🧡🧡🧡🧡
You guys really work together great. Love watching you extend you home. Stay safe climbing around.
I really enjoyed watching you all work, scared your not wearing any safety straps at that height. Brave!
Trying to schedule truss delivery and set around the weather is an impossibility..Glad ya'll got it done, and safely...lol Love what you're doing ❤️
Great tip on the number of nails required!
But you don’t have use any if you don’t want to 🤣
You guys work SO hard, love what you are doing, that addition is going to be fab! You two just seem to know how to do everything, I'm amazed!
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺 looking good people..keep it up love the video

You guys are becoming pros in a few short year’s

When cutting multiple pieces the same length use a stop versus measuring each one. It is faster and helps avoid errors. You guys really rock
!
I was behind your trusses truck going to work
Tip for you. cut a chunk off the screen with the chop saw, then you a have a roll the right width much faster without the hacking with scissors.
The extension is going great guns!!
Great choice In boots. I've used several kinds and brands of boots over the years and Ariat makes the most comfortable and lasting boot on the market.
Looking better and better❤
Great video guys. Thanks for sharing "The Adventure" with us!
Use some WD40 on the chop-saw, so it slides smoothly. Always use a piece of scrap wood to check vertical cut is correct.
Thank you for sharing.
God bless you
As always great video good to see y'all again from Louisiana
Those rafters on the end "barge rafters" or something similar are called "lookouts". Those are way better to support the roof than the rake only style.. Keep on, you're doing a great job!😉
Good job Martin
Good luck pak....😊😊
Send your rain to my area.. We need it real badly.
Impressive progress... You're doing such a great job! Keep smiling and God bless.
After the metal roofing sheets were installed, there don't seems to be any report? It is now more than 1 week and no report
There will be a new video on Monday.
Such an inspiration watching your accomplishments in getting those trusses up and the fascia. Thank you for a great share
homes looking good.. beard up , snow will be here SOON....
I'm probably not as excited about the new build as you, but it's close 👌
What a relief to get the trusses! Getting it all dried in before the 6 feet of snow falls that someone keeps asking for is imperative!
It sounds like you need an out building with some white facia or ripped down facia into trim....?maybe it will work elsewhere in the house build?
I would put more barge supports up, seems to me the spacing is too wide for the snow load you get in Idaho.
IT LOOKS GREAT GUYS CONGRATS HOW EXCITING CONGRATS
Wow, it looks so great!
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing your progress! I am learning a lot from watching your content! You guys are great!
Looks great !!! Great job !!!
Nice job guys, looks awesome! It won’t be long now and you’ll be dried in. ✌🏼❤️🙏🏼
She swings thru the trusses without any fusses..😊
Looks Awesome!
Place is looking awesome keep up the great work
Great video.Nice to see you working so well together.
