In regards to confessionals -- maybe you could have a couple characters talk to each other in private to discuss how they feel? So it's not full on talking to the camera like a real confessional, but we still get some insight as to what they're going through. Kind of like when we've seen cast members form an alliance in the past. Also, I am sooo tempted to put the biggest support tier on my credit card. I would absolutely be thrilled to be part of one of my favorite projects, it's just a big commitment (and cost)! Joey, I'm super proud of everything you're doing. It makes me so happy to see your creative juices still flowing. We're all eager to see what happens with ETN! 🥰

i remember a few years ago when youtube was giving me so many advertisements for season 2 and i always skipped them then one time i got curious and looked up the show and got addicted to it
Omg an Escape the Night movie would SLAY BOOTS THE HOUSE DOWN, this almost feels like Lonelygirl15 with how interactive it feels, with being able to choose the competitors and monsters and stuff
I do feel like it would probably be quite the departure from the current plan for the movie (or at least as far as I can tell as just a mere fan ofc hahah), buttt I feel like confessionals could work if the movie was shot in a psuedo-documentary style, similar to American Horror Story S6 - Roanoke was. Tbh I don't know if that fits with the era and all that, but at least it could maybe be a sense of inspiration for considering confessionals as a part of the movie! So excited about this new chapter and hope with all my being that ETN will get its well-deserved revival!!!
Dunno if its their thing but the Deadmeat crew could be fun to see in something like this. I'm sure James and Chelsea would be so game for all the gimmicks of ETN. And being two RUclips horror personalities would be such a great fit.

I think confessionals are still possible, but it’d probably be something to watch outside of the movie. Some films sort of have those side shorts/short films that capture either extra footage or behind the scenes stuff. I think that can be one of the ways confessionals can still be incorporated with the film, it’ll just not be in the actual film itself.

You could make the confessionals like one of those behind the scenes extra footage things that used to be on older dvds, also I think it'd be so cool if you were able to have the cursed God in human form, not necessarily as one of the contestants but maybe the cursed God decides to meet face to face and needs a human form to take ( I think markiplier would embody this perfectly)
It's so crazy that even a RUclips TV show can cost millions of dollars. And like it makes sense because the value of escape the night was so good, but had somebody asked me how much I thought that it cost I would have been in like the hundreds of thousands of dollars range not in the millions, but that's awesome that the budget was so big.
