Molly is the epitome of beauty and talent combined, and these two girls are at the top of their game. This was not my preferred genre of music, but in the past 60 days, Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle have grabbed me by the ears and drug me over the fence to a while new world of music and I couldn't be happier about it! It feels good to be excited about music again. 🤘🤓🤘❤️👏

For the fifth daughter, Molly or Sierra are very good options.

I can't practice for a few hours after watching Molly her control is unmatched, her rhythm is impeccable and she actually looks completely at ease while playing, I'm pretty talented but she's the damn Steve Vai of bluegrass.

These two were classmates at Berklee, I'm proud to say. Phenomenal talent.
The only factor that outshines that marvelous musicianship on both parts is the sweet dispositions that just shines out from both of them. What a delightful performance to watch as well as hear. Smile grew on me mug like a slow reflex.
Nicely done, two virtuosos, awesome mastery of their instruments.
I think I died and went to heaven ... check my pulse ... I heard everybody had harps there, but I'm OK with these two on banjo & guitar ...

As I understand it, Lena Jonsson taught them the tune used in the TV ads for Bregott, the ones with happy cows in pastures. I forget the real name of the song, probably "gånglåt efter någon" or something. Can't say I recognize it here, either.

For the record, the second tune of that excellent medley, "The Road to Westfield" (IL) is an original by the late Garry Harrison (1954-2012) and is available on his "Red Prairie Dawn" CD. Mostly originals of equal caliber to this one.

Naming a song at the breakfast table? Bregott is a regular butter brand in Sweden. "låten" just means "the tune". Great playing.
Allison and her playing - this song grabbed me and I've been hacking away trying to play it, and after a year can get to 75% speed but with numerous errors - it is the run at 01:16 which derails me each time, so quick, smooth and seamless (of course I am speaking of Allison's part :)). Agree that both artists are at a magical place for this session.

The clawhammer technique here has changed my mind towards a banjo. Gives it a completely different character compared to the picking style where the sound just starts to hammer my head after awhile with that constant drilling. Like the old joke - the difference between a banjo and a trampoline? You take your shoes off when you jump on the trampoline. But not in this case.

Well that's how you meet these people. I got interested in Molly cuz I followed Sierra Hull. Also learned about Courtney Hartman & Missy Raines thru Sierra & Berklee. Learned about Sierra thru Mike Compton & Sarah Watkins (Hull's name kept popping up in the case of the latter.) Just learned about Phoebe Hunt thru SH. & I got a pic of her w/ Steve Martin hanging on my cubicle. & of course I think they all know Alison Krauss.

Funny how modern players are more focused on timing,whereas players from a couple of decades ago would be more focused on feel.
