What festival was this at? As an older millennial, we were the last part of a generation to get to experience large musical acts at somewhat affordable prices back pre-2015 and earlier (sub $250 for tix). The beauty of Americana, Folk, Country-Songwriter, Bluegrass/Roots acts and festivals, is they often remain affordable to see live. They deserve to make more, but even at $150 they’d still be affordable tickets and support their music more. Often they’re far less for tickets. I love that I can see Molly Tutttle, Sierra Ferrell and Sara Jarosz at prices I can afford to pay, but still get to experience great music live like I did in my 20’s. Support your country, bluegrass, indie and folk festivals and artists, they’re a gift. Buy their physical music on CD and vinyl.
I couldn't agree more... I'm a "young" Boomer...borderline Gen X. actually, and as long as these roots artists aren't mainstream, you can get tix at a reasonable price... I got tix for a festival in Evanston, IL in Sept and SF, SJ and a coupla other notable artists are playing this 2 day festival... Tix at the box office were 50 bucks each day, for a total of $100 for the weekend to see some really top shelf artists... And last year, me and my son went to the Outlaw Music Festival at Alpine Valley, WI....and as i recall, tix were under $150 each to see Willy Nelson, Plant & Krauss, MT & GH and Trampled by Turtles.... All quality music...6 hours of musical bliss!!!

Epic recreation of this classic tune. Bravo!!
Great Performance fantastic musicians. Molly Tuttle is not only an outstanding guitarist but also a great singer. Great fun, thanks 🙏
I've always loved this song but always thought it ended too soon, it was a nice surprise to hear an extended version. Great vocals, liked the violin and banjo too. Excellent. Thanks.
This is giving me chills and goosebumps. And, surprisingly, I'm still, sober!
What an AWESOME SONG!!! You all nailed it. I really love the Rabbit playing the clock!!!!
Oh? I am smiling from ear to ear! This is so unexpected and wonderful! 🌺
I know nothing of this group. This video has made me a fan. Spectacular. Unexpectedly excellent. There is not one part of this I am not smitten by.
The appearance of this video takes on a really intense meaning for my adult child and I. There has been a crazy rash of OD deaths of those from her rehab community. I'm so grateful for her sobriety.
Saw The Airplane do this many many times in the mid to late '60's! This is the best version since then! Love the costumes and love Molly!
I love everything about this! From the costumes to the fun attitude to the perfect cover. Bravo! 👍
Bravo!!! Way to bring your originality to a classic. I want to listen on repeat! Thank you, more please 👏👏👏
That was so sweet! Really shows Molly's voice.
Love it. Saw them do this at Delfest this past Memorial Day and was fabulous
That was a SLICK rendition. You played it with such GRACE!
I saw what YOU did there...and i LIKED it
Damnit… I didn’t get it
Acid casualties of new grass.
@@WeldonLooney The song's writer/ original singer's name was Grace Slick. The rumor was that the rest of her band locked her in a room with some drugs and refused to let her out until she had written a song. This is what she gave them.
I don't get it
That was great. When I was a kid I found a copy of that Jeff Airplane album in my Grandpa's attic ( one of my eccentric uncles, my Grandps was a math professor) and loved it. Glad to see one of my recent faves Molly & the talented Golden Highway taking it on with style. Notice how the crowd grows...
This is one of the best things I have stumbled across! Good on ya’ Molly Tuttle and band! Flipping fantastic!
🐇 Feed your head!! Love this version! 🪕 Great costumes, your voice is so trippy and the natural trill is amazing!
great song choice by a superlative band of musicians. Bringing Blue Grass to rock just works.
Really enjoyed that performance. Everyone was great.❤❤❤❤
I can't believe how many times I've played this, I'm obsessed, musically and artistically all you could wish for, amazing stuff ❤
Totally know what you mean, Mark. I lost count how many times I’ve played this video. It’s like I can’t get enough. Would love to hear Molly and crew do many more of these 60s based hippy tunes!
